I'm still waiting on our :fing: to end..

Since we hit 2nd no team in the league has picked up fewer points than us (15 points in 19 games).

We may even be lucky to escape relegation, if nothing improves.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

So Hull lost a big game at Burnley but Middlesbrough could not capitalise as they were unable to beat Blackburn at home. They don't look in that good a form with a point from 3 games. Gone off the boil as well?

Nice to see us back in the saddle. 3 wins on the bounce, players have had a bit of a rest and look less fatigued, new signings given us some more options. Hopefully we can beat Bolton next weekend and then it's going to be a massive game away at Hull on the Tuesday night.

2 points from safety, we can do ittt!!!

It feels like we've been within 2 or 3 places of Wolves constantly for about 3 years in a row now. Both as average as they come this year unfortunately.

True, although you have been a much nicer team to watch over the last 3 years. I'd have Brentford's team on paper any day over ours.

De Laet to Rhodes... is it just me or do Boro leave it late quite a bit?

Better late than never..

But yes we do, it's because we don't change things up at all and do exactly the same thing every single game regardless of if we look like winning or not. However we are top and whilst we are there or thereabouts we won't complain. However keep going like this with rubbish results and even worse performances the fans will be getting annoyed.

Got to say having seen Boro a couple of times this season I'm surprised more teams haven't been able to frustrate them. Plenty of attacking riches but as a unit they do seem to struggle to break down teams that get men behind the ball and make life difficult.

One thing that struck me at the Gate was how narrow they played. You had someone like Adomah on the opposite wing cutting inside all the time when his strength was always hugging the touchline, taking on the FB and stretching defenses.

Clearly a tactical thing and obviously it's not exactly working badly for them but they don't score all that many goals compared to the other sides up there and that could be where they come unstuck. Of course Rhodes coming in may change that, but then Nugent's always been a guarenteed 20 goal man at this level and he's barely troubled the scorers.

First game of the season, we sussed them.

It's what we did to them the other week. They had one clear cut chance all match (and also hit the bar from a volley from about 30 yards). Just got men behind the ball and hit them on the break. They have a good team but recently looks like teams have started to stifle them.

That was one of the games I was thinking of. We managed to shut them out twice. If we can do that, including once with Cotterill's 352, then surely anyone can!

9 points away from the play offs chasing a team who admitted they don't want promotion this year...... Beckford back soon, can we do it?

Probably not but one can only dream

Nah no chance, but it's good to have hope. We'd have to get about 33 points from our last 15 games. Not inconceivable but not gonna happen, especially if Gally has his hernia operation now.
