I'm still hanging around this thread as Garry Monk has just said on the radio that no team has outplayed us so far this season, and I for one believe him.

Strange lot that part of the country, must be with being so near Wales.
When we do a Leeds from last season or Derby from every other season before that I'll ask you to remind me how strange we are

Oh that's nice.
Personally I would much rather see the Blades back in League 1 or preferably League 2, than back in the Premier League.

The Blades and all the local clubs have some sick little bumfest with each other, they all despise Wednesday together.

 'kin hell some of you Wednesday lot are precious. Taken my tongue in cheek comment way out of context seeing as it was made in relation to the Bristol City or Sheff Utd comments that came before. I mean it's not like I want Sheff Utd to actually be successful but if it's them or Jordan then I'll tolerate it.

I think Craig just doesn't like us.

I could never dislike you xx

Doubt it, too many injuries and a manager who may or may not be a fraud, who knows.

I actually think swap derby for Boro and the top 6 will be that. I'm backing villa for 2nd spot.

Brentford, Preston, Fulham and Wednesday should all be there or there abouts, Leeds possibly as well if they get some defensive reinforcements in January. Not sure on Norwich it's probably too soon to judge Farke, Reading could put a run together as well.

It's a great league, but with the competition I'd be amazed if we managed to be consistent across 46 games. Every month looks so daunting.

Not going to have a chance of play offs if we keep throwing away leads like this. Pathetic defending at the end. Bentley can’t keep making such horrible mistakes. Think we’ve thrown away more points from winning positions than any other team this season, by some distance.

That was unbelievable, there were no QPR fans left in the ground, can't remember seeing owt like that...

Can't believe why you won't think you'll maintain it, does any team worry you?

Wolves do, I think you'll probably take us to the cleaners in a few weeks as well at yours.

It's not so much us in comparison with the opposition, it's just how we are now with the amount of injuries we have, I'm not sure if you've kept up with it but it's ridiculous. Plus there are about 23 managers in this division I trust more than Lee Johnson.

Regardless of what Monk says, your 3 points off 6th with 81 to play for. It's fair game for the majority of the league never mind yourselves.

Wolves aren't getting caught they are irrelevant. No not fully sure of you're injury situation , we've been a tad unlucky with them too. Both right full backs are out which is a major part in how we play and Coutts obviously for the season. We've also had a fair few others missing games but I suppose everyone does.

We have Pisano, Hegeler, Diedhiou, Bryan and O'Dowda out and most of them won't be back until new year, we had Djuric out for ages, Taylor out for ages, O'Neil has played 5 minutes of league football and still is out for another 12 weeks, it's beyond a piss take. Not sure how familiar you are with our squad but most of them get into our first 11, we've done well to maintain our form for as long as we have, if it was last season we'd be in Bolton's position as our depth was nowhere near as good.

I just think the wheels are set to fall off, but we'll see won't we, I won't change my opinion for a while and you may not change yours so let's come back to it in a couple of months.

I'm still thinking we have a shot at top 6, providing we avoid another injury crisis.

Tom Clarke is back involved for the first time this season and we should have Greg Cunningham back after Christmas, massively missed their leadership qualities in some games. Think we might have a busy January now AN has had a proper look at the squad.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Other than JJH I dont think we are particularly pessimistic.
Is it just fashionable to say I'm pessimistic or something? Because it never has any substance. I've predicted several victories this season and praised lots of our players and our manager.

So I'm pessimistic for thinking we won't finish top six? There are better teams than us in the division especially with the side we have out currently, that's not pessimism that's realism.

You constantly chat shit about the manager, throw a fit of histrionics every time we don't win.
Perhaps you are in denial.

Yeah, a mid-season capitulation after another decent start I imagine.
^After someone said something special could be happening at AG.
The goals have dried up, we'll pull up a seat in here...
^relegation thread.

You slated OTIB for being "reactionary shite" (which it often can be) yet you are as bad as some of the worst on there for that.

Doesn't have to be entirely unreasonable to be pessimism. Almost 2 pts per game nearly halfway into the season and you're writing off the playoffs? Just face it mate, you're miserable as fuck ;)

Pardon me for being sceptical of the manaer who's achieved nowt in his career to date and who's Bristol City side fell apart last season after we were playing as we had been this season, it all looked bright and rosy after 15 last season as well.

You've always been a weird little c*** with some sort of gripe, it's funny because the other day you categorically wrote off top six by saying "we won't finish top six, we're overachieving", so who's the pessimist remind me?

I haven't been reactionary at all this season, last season wasn't reactionary either it was fully justified given the run we went on, I always stood by what I said.

Not completely writing top six off at all CH, I just don't think we'll finish in the top six, there's a difference.

Here is pot calling the kettle black.
I said we're overachieving, not said we're gonna be in a relegation fight.

If you cannot tell the difference, then that's an issue on your part.

I've always been a "weird little c***" huh? Seems you have the gripe not me.
If you look at my posts I have always stood by my comments as well, I think we are overachieving and thought we'd be midtable this season, circa 14th. Now explain how that is pessimism after the last couple of seasons.
I've also said that since we have started how we have, I think we will do better than the 14th place I initially expected. I have also said I think this season could be a springboard for a proper push at the playoffs or perhaps even autos for next season.

A bit different to "booking" a place in the relegation thread after a 0-0.

Neither have I with any degree of seriousness. It's funny that you chose to dig up the relegation thread post but ignore the my next post in the thread after MagpieBee pulled me up on it:
Whoooooooooosh
It may have gone over your head as well, or more likely that you chose to ignore it for the sake of your shite argument.

Yes, you have. You're a fucking oddball.

It's also funny that you always go on about my perceived pessimism City169, take a look at my pre-season predictions:
14) Hull City
15) Sunderland
16) Sheffield United
17) Bristol City
18) Nottingham Forest
Shocker that, three places below you! How negative mind?!? Miserable c*** I am!

In case you haven't noticed City169, even discussing the possibility that we might finish top six shows that I don't think we'll finish 17th anymore, just presumed you'd have figured that one out, more fool me.

Says a lot that you continually throw around insults, called anyone else a "nonce" lately?

I actually didn't see the "whoosh" one, but get this, I can hold my hands up and admit that.
