I don't see why you seem so insistent on me having to prove what I say? I remember me saying before and after that I wouldn't be surprised if we lost, and people seemed to find that funny. I'm not going to go trawling through old threads to prove that to you. Why is this so important to you?

People found it funny that you gave up at the title chase while we are top of the table, not because of one predicted result.

My memory was that no one had a go at your wrexham prediction and that it was you giving up on the title in January that got you stick. If you recall it otherwise fine, I'll leave you to your ignorance.

 Bloody hell.

Why does what I remember (which is what actually happened - I had people quoting me laughing and pisstaking that I thought Wrexham would win) matter so much to you? I don't get why you're so keen to prove me wrong. You leave me to my 'ignorance' then - however you tend to remember the times when you're put down by plenty of people and then come out the other side being correct. But feel free to continue caring so much about my posting history on here that you feel compelled to find times where I'm apparently making stuff up.

Does it really matter what was said/stated --- Remember its all based on ones own opinions anyway.

It matters little. Urban is welcome to his opinions, as I am welcome to say what I think of them.

Urban, this is not a pi$$take, honestly, but in this thread you seem to be suggesting that Kidderminster away is a tricky fixture for Barnet but an easy fixture for Bristol Rovers.

Have I misunderstood?

Of course you're welcome to your opinions, everyone is. However you seem to care so much about making sure everything thinks that you're right and I'm wrong, which is what confuses me. It literally does not matter, yet you're going on about it like it's a personal matter. You don't think it was said, fair enough, why the need to try to disprove another poster? Petty and sad (my opinion)

You have.

All I've said is that Rovers' hardest match after Macc is Dover away. We meanwhile have two hard games against Halifax and Gateshead, as well as a few potential banana skins against teams fighting relegation (Dartford and Alfreton in particular won't be walkovers).

Rovers have the easiest run of matches. It's plain and simple, there for anyone to see.

I'm not sure what was said or really that interested either. But the fact that you will possibly take 500 max while we should have over half of the overall crowd may sway it in our favour.

I'm far from right, I honestly dont have the balls to predict how this season will pan out. This is only personal in as much as you have accused others of attacking you on an occasion when I am pretty sure they did not. As I've said, if you still think you are right to make the claim then fine.

I see. So presumably, you mentioned Kidderminster by mistake? :ffs:

And the number of away fans matters because....?

Yes I forgot they had them too.

Happy now?

Yes, that's much better :2thumb:

Being serious for a second, I'd actually say we had a pretty similar looking run in to Rovers. I certainly wouldn't say either team had a clear advantage.

That we have this run of four games v bottom five sides in succession could be an advantage, especially as Rovers travel to Macc during that spell.

Otherwise, it's horse for courses.

We took 1000 to Burton and 1300 to Northampton for matches of similar importance so I don't see why we couldn't take a similar number to Kiddy.

We also took 1000 to Northwich in 2005.

Not that it makes any difference.

Bloody annoying losing that one as I was out of the country when we clinched the title against Halifax.
That Witton Albion pitch, where Northwich played at, was pretty bad although not on the scale of Halifax's.

That was then -- You just about get a few more than that for home games now.

That is obviously untrue and actually, taking into account the move, our home core support has not really changed.

Our average home attendance has been around 1500-2000 for the last ten years, this year will be little different. Our average attendance for the four years we were last in the conference was 1780, boosted by playoffs followed by promotion, but for two of those years it was 1400 so barely over 1000 home supporters .

Bristol now back in the driving seat. Grimsby or Macc losing could spell the end of their challenge (6+ behind with 6 to go is too much imo), while a defeat for us would be a massive blow.

Honestly though, I can't see Barnet losing today. I've been trying to think up reasons why they might trip points but I can't get anything. Yes Welling might be battling to stay up but Barnet can more than match, particularly at home. Shame, because with a tougher match I think the circumstance could have been tricky on them.

The trickiest one of our next 4 is next week, away at Alfreton. If you beat Macc and we drop points there, it'll be very different I reckon.
