Nope, looks all clear.

We lost 2-1 at home to Stoke, but were 1-0 up and playing well with our strongest available XI out there. Then we rotated all of them off and rolled out the U21s and 3 trialists and Stoke ran in 2 goals to scrape past us.

Some good performances and plenty to be encouraged about.

Beat Hull 4-0 could have been 10. Not sure how good a team Hull put out so the score isn’t important however I really like how we have been set up to play, only problem I can see is how we keep at least 2 of our players as I can see the big guns lining up to take them if they can put consistant performances in

Tranmere did play a BCD friendly at Preston on Tuesday, winning 0-2 with Josh Davison getting both. 4 trialists involved at some stage, think the two from Blackburn plus a former Leicester young keeper and Charlie Kirk.

Just slapped Derby 4-0. That’s more like it, absolute quality tonight.
Much better. Tom Naylor is just very good isn't he. Think a few needed that one to cheer them up a bit

Beat Chelmsford City 1-0. Matt Dennis continuing his scoring streak as the menace he is. Played 3, won 2, lost 1 so far for us vs Hannover U23’s, Chelmsford City and Barnet respectively. Portsmouth and Plymouth to come.

That York squad are my tip for the title, I think they would be playoff candidates in league 2.
No they really wouldn’t. Everyone said this about them last year and they were shite. I think they’ll do well to get play offs in the NL next season, owner is a complete clown

Agreed - they shouldn't be having any relegation worries like last season but I'm fairly confident they're not much better than around 9th or 10th in that league. Good strikeforce though.

It's a fascinating league that this season. Barnet, Forest Green, Southend, Alty, Moors, even Oldham will fancy it. Very close. It will be nice to be able to watch it as a neutral

Not many bounce straight back but I think FGR might well do it. Well funded, Cotterill in charge and didn't go down in terrible shape at the end of the season. Damage was done by February

I've got Hartlepool down to do well. Darren Sarll isn't one for a slow rebuild but he could shoot them up near the top and with positive momentum behind them, they'd be a threat.

It’s like the conference gets worse every year, last years was the worst in years but yet this season actually beats that’s also, wish it was that simple when we won it!

it’s a great chance for a Hartlepool, Oldham or Rochdale to make a statement, but it’s the hope that kill’s you in that league, everyone’s like “we’ll do it in a year” and realise it’s not the case. It’s potentially the greatest chance they’ll have.

We of course did it the hard way, took us 4 attempts but deservedly got there, and got out when it probably wasn't our greatest chance.

What do you actually mean by that statement, I'm always curious when I see people claim it?

He’s trying to make himself feel better about the fact the conference he remembers is levels below the standard of it now. That Mansfield side that won it all them years ago wouldn’t be anywhere near the top 7 of last years NL. I remember how shite they were anyway when they came up, anti football cloggers. That doesn’t work down there no more, look at Boreham Wood last year!

Adam hanging around the League 2 forum shouldn't be too much of a surprise to anyone on here.

Small club mentality remains even after the Year of the Stag.
