Feels weird as fuck. I’m not really nervous, I was feeling worse for the CL final.

Wait? You were more nervous before the Champions League final where two foreign clubs from England and Spain fought for the title than this, as you called it, once in a lifetime experience for you where your country Sweden plays in a quarterfinal of the World Cup? You're right, this is weird as fuck.

This game will be a bit shit, but massively important for both teams, obviously. A single goal will win it, with England simply more likely to score it. If England score first, we will probably get another as Sweden attempt to equalise. If they score first it will take some effort to prevent it ending 1-0.

2-0 England Is my prediction.

England winning the World Cup or Liverpool win the CL? For me there is only one choice there, and it doesn't involve England.

I don't know if I'm being hype but I'm feeling a rather comfortable 3-0 for England.

Liverpool will be fielding 2 teams and both teams will have players with lots of first team experience except the 2 new signings Keita and Fabinho, who will both make their debuts. The match will be shown live on Liverpool TV. It's an all-ticket sell-out and Liverpool have said we can keep 100% of the ticket sales which will provide much needed revenue for Chester FC, who have just paid off Kingsley James and Ross Hannah, who were on silly money. Unfortunately it coincides with England v Sweden.
That’s good for you lot. Have your financial issues have now been resolved?

You may pretend that England are a secondary concern, but World Cup fever appears to be making you QUITE DELIRIOUS.

As far as the sport goes it’s club over national side, but that’s a false choice imo. World Cup and to slightly lesser extent the Euros are more comparable to the Olympics than club football. A (mostly) good natured exciting event where even non-football fans get involved, a festival atmosphere where you can celebrate and commiserate together and enjoy the occasion even when England aren’t involved. If we had to lose club football to keep those sorts of events it would be be a close call for me

Eh.

It’s more down to the fact that Sweden have achieved all I could hope for and more. The worst case scenario here is that I’ve lived the best tournament of my life, going out against a very good England side in the quarters. That’s why I’m not nervous.

Nerves kicking in now but settling them down with a few bottles of bud before heading to the pub, this will be a tough game, an early goal may make it a whole lot more comfortable though. Sweden will defend deep and the onus will be on us to break them down, this tends to be the kind of opposition we struggle against so I hope we've been practising some new set piece routines. Come on lads lets get through this!

England 2-0 Sweden
Kane
Lingard

It's win-win imo. Even if Ingurlund lose (which isn't going to happen) we get treated to another inspiring drunken speech from Beelo mate and everyone is happy regardless. Except the Scots, cos they're miserable by nature.

If England do win today the salt levels will be deadly in here.

I would have made a couple of changes from the start and I fully expect them to come in early second half. It could be 120 minutes again so it’ll need the squad rather than the starting 11 I guess - can see southgate’s thjnking, I just disagree with it slightly.

Felt quite negative about this all day and therefore don’t really feel nervous to be honest. Can see it ending 1-0 to Sweden and is going out with a whimper.

Here we go then! Mixed emotions - 1 side tells me this isn’t the old England and I’m super confident. Another tells me we will blow it and bow out 2-0.

Really need Lingards movement in point today, no dodgy moments at the back either please - I’m especially pointing out Walker there
