That 'If I stay' is very apt.
He's always open and honest what he says. Yep sometimes it comes out a bit David Brentish, but he calls it as he sees it. I'd rather have that than listen to someone like Mourinho who basically only says two or three default things.
He said both of those things as thats how he feels about them, he wasn't being disingenuous. If Spurs or So'ton fans found the quotes disrespectful thats up to them, but he told it as he saw it.Mourinho is the biggest bullshitter in the league and he is in a category of his own but Rodgers is guilty of it from time to time as well. The stuff he said about Southampton for example, Spurs when they spent a large sum of money, the recent stamps etc etc- he's not open or honest at all.

He stretches the truth occasionally, but more often than not Brodge answers a question directly and doesn't deflect it away like a lot of other managers do and I always think thats a commendable trait.I gave three examples. There are plenty more as well. He is a Premier League manager, of course he is a lying, hypocritical sack of shite. I don't know why you are defending his honour so vehemently!
Which is the more ridiiculous comment you have made; this one or the "Brendan Rodgers says it how he sees it line"?They have as much chance of winning the league or trophies as Liverpool currently, i.e. not a lot. Then there is the fact of the unofficial transfer embargo's between the sides. Its a waste of ink that 'story'.
As I said he was being honest in his thought on Spurs, they threw their money around and didn't get anywhere with it. They had no plan or direction either once they got those players in - just put them all in the side and see if they can gel. They aren't that much better this season either; its only the emergence of Kane who has been a revelation that's kept them slightly in the hunt, and not their £27 mill Soldado (who I do like actually) and Adebayor. Also I'm with Rodgers in that there was nothing in the Skrtel incident, so Rodgers is not hypocritical in either case for me.He leaves the deflecting for when he looks like a complete hypocrite I.e Skrtel, Spurs spending etc.

UEFA practically make a new rule every week to try and stop those plastic plonkers. They despise them with a passion and everything they stand for. City can run but they can't hide.Don't think City are in a more envious position goung forward than their neighbours or Arsenal. Aging squad, aeal revenues to comply with FFP compared to the other two, and Kompany seems to have regressed. Will likely have to accomdate more homegrown players and a new manager.
He's not good enough for a big move says Phil neville http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32185092
I'm sure some will jump on this because it's Phil Neville but he's right.
Sterling is a better player than Welbeck.
Goals ain't everything though and certainly not for wide players.
But of course if you want to go down that route, you would have to show the same for Navas, Young and Willian...
Someone would pay that for him without a doubt [after all PSG paid £50 mill for David Luiz!]. He's #1 in all stats for Liverpool this season and we know he could still improve further. I'm not too fussed either way if he stays or goes. If he goes, Liverpool will get a good whack for Summer (hopefully towards another striker!). If he stays then great, he can improve there and try to help Liverpool push on for the CL etc, next season.£50 million for Sterling is lunacy from a buying point of view, but from a sellers point of view it would be lunacy to accept anything less, especially with 2 years to go on his contract.

LOLGoing into the transfer market is always a risk but you gotta try if you need players.
