I expect our release/retained list to be announced very shortly.

Dylan Mottley-Henry and Christophe Routis have confirmed that they're both leaving.

Motley-Henry will end up in the conference, and Rouis has signed a 2 year deal with Ross County - team up with ledge Andrew Davies....oh and errrr Raffa De Vita.

Mikael Ndjoli from Millwall, 18 year old apparently not offered a contract and released, yet loads of clubs seem to want him? Seems odd, what's his story? Signing for us.

He has a very good agent. Arsenal and Palace were never interested in him, contrary to reports, and I believe he had a failed trial at Bristol City after he was released. Good luck to him at Bournemouth. It's a great move and who knows: he may develop further.

To be fair he did seem to score an awful lot of goals. I guess his release is likely more to do with attitude than anything else?

Josh Lillis signs on for another two years. Pleased with this, player of.the.season last time out. Drops the occasional blooper, but more than makes up for that with saves he shouldn't really make, but somehow does.

Tom Kennedy has left by mutual consent, with a year to go on his contract. Been a very good servant for us in the past, but rarely got a look in since last Christmas. No doubt he'll go somewhere (Bury, as Hussey replacement?) then end up signing for us for the FIFTH time in January...

Niall Canavan has joined Doncaster in preference to us. Good luck to him, did a decent job for us on loan...

Really feeling for Rochdale, lost quite a few players already, mainly defenders. Think you'll be alright next season?

Billy Knott has been released. Decent L1 player in there somewhere. Had a great first season, making 50+ app scoring 7 goals, but has been a passenger for most of this season due to the quality we had at our disposal in Lee Evans and Josh Cullen.

Knott was impressive when on loan at Vale. Would not be against us going in for him again.

Wouldn't mind Knott joining us, he has links to the area, was born on Canvey Island

Knott has been linked with us as a squad option replacement for the surely-departing Ed Upson.

We certainly need a couple of recruits at CB. No reason to think Hilly can't find them, though.

We'll be OK, I think. Midfield/attack remain the same from last season. In fact, we've got nine proven performers at this level (Allen, Lund, Camps, McDermott, Vincenti, Mendez-Laing, Henderson, Andrew, Bunney) competing for six starting places. Add whichever of Cannon/Rafferty isn't playing Right Back, youngster Hooper and "forgotten man" Alessandra to the mix, and we've an embarrassment of riches.

Yeah, top half again, with a sneaky push for the playoffs...:-)

I still find it strange that Mendez has actually managed to prove he can be a footballer.

Dunno what went wrong for/with him at Posh.

With him missing a pre-season, he wasn't fit enough when he arrived, but knuckled down, got fit and by the end of the season had become a regular starter. Ended up with 10 goals from 36 appearances (15 as sub). Seems to have a knack of pouncing on loose balls/errors in the box and taking advantage - his goal at London Road was typical of this instinct.

His attitude, mainly.

He was more interested in telling the strippers in Angels that he was a professional footballer than actually doing it.

Shame, he clearly has talent, he was just young and fucking stupid here.

We have released Adebayo Akinfenwa, Sean Rigg and Callum Kennedy.

No surprises for me on the released list as Bayo is one of our highest earners and has been on the bench a lot this season.

Barry Fuller, Dannie Bulman and George Francomb have signed extended deals.

Really please with these and they are key players.

With the players in Vegas until the weekend I expect our full retained list to be released then.

He was quality for us back in 2012, winning young player of the season for us. If he's anything like he was back then I'd love for him to return.
