24 man squad taken to Doncaster tonight. Lowe must be putting them all in the hat to pick his team. Must admit he’s lost the plot in the last 6 weeks. Not up to the job. Absolutely clueless tactically. Not his blame we are down but the chairman and Clark to blame.

Very happy with last night's results. With a poor weekend oxford or gills could be involved in this thread again. The more in the mix the merrier.

We are definitely sleepwalking ourselves back in to the mix. No wins, four defeats and three draws with only one goal from open play from the last seven games so we must be close to the foot of the form table.

If Rochdale manage six more points and we don't get any, their goal difference will overtake ours. Most fans don't see us scoring again this season so we need another 0-0 draw to get us over the line. Squeaky bum time !

This sat we play Oldham at home. A win and we are nearly there. A loss and we are in the shit again. Drawing is neither good or bad depending on results around us. Big weekend coming.up.

Well, after last saturdays disgraceful loss to AFC Wimbledon, we are relying on results around us and somehow picking up the odd win to scrape survival.

WABLO status for its 2 longest serving members is up for grabs this season.

Interested to hear if things are looking up for Oxford since they brought in Karl Robinson?

Tongue firmly in cheek!

I think they have gone all Flitcrofty and Browny - one win and not much else. They should just about survive - but they ain’t got much margin for error.

I've not seen us play live for ages due to having some surgery but I think he is polarising a few of our fans. He's big and strong but doesn't appear to have great coordination and seems to be pretty poor in the air. Last week he watched a Newport player unchallenged to head their second goal.

He then got booked for a late challenge and not too long after that picked up a second booking and therefore a red for another completely pointless late challenge on a Newport player 3 yards away from the Newport byline which shows he doesn't really have great intelligence.

Possibly a bit harsh as he is young but from the snippets I have seen, he looks a bit of a donkey.

He’s young, raw, athletic but, obviously, lacks experience.

The last thing he needs is listening to advice from our present defenders. Most games he’s been the only proper CB playing, with injuries meaning full backs have been shunted into playing beside him in central defence.

Early days for a young ‘un, but the jury is probably out.

Thanks for the updates gents.

I read a couple of good reports at the beginning but stopped checking after the first few games. Think we got him from W-S-M as one for the future, in the couple of games I saw of him, he looked excellent and a real up & coming young gun, but like you're both saying it his experience (or lack of) is probably showing through.

I guess we'll get him back in summer and ship him out for another year then, hopefully he'll be ready for L1 after that.

Are you lot going to make the play offs then?

I think ID is probably right, his lack of experience is showing a bit. Doesn't help that our best Centre Backs are out injured and we've had to throw him in the deep end a little bit.

In reference to your question, not a hope!!

Pretty even for those at bottom today. Holding on to beat oldham would have been massive for us. So many permutations at bottom in next week or so. Very difficult to call .

Think Rochdale will go unfortunately due to their awful fixtures. Only got themselves to blame mind, two stoppage time goals and a missed penalty the difference between three points and nine points.

If you two keep posting then we might just survive. Nervous for your first play off game? ID assured me you would be a league above us next year.

As for Robinson, two goals conceded in five and he's set up to get the best out of what we have. Disappointing results against Oldham, Fleetwood and Portsmouth but tentative improvements. Absolutely nothing like the shit your lot are serving up.

I’ll be perfectly honest, you lot going down would have saved our season. (Franchise going down will have to suffice)

I’m not going to pretend it’s been anything else, this season has been instantly forgettable.

A draw was probably about right for our game against oldham.Oldham played quite well 2nd half.As for us it will probably come down to beating bury at home on the last day of the season!! Nothing from the wigan away game, maybe a point at doncaster.

We won't score another goal this season let alone get another point, we are back in this bt hopefully have just enough in the board to keep us up

He is having a really positive impact at the moment and the performances of team have improved considerably especially with the unbalanced squad Pep left.

We are finally organised defensively and, unlike Pep, can see that the likes of Tiendalli and Gino van Kessel are shit. He also uses James Henry in his best position (again take note Pep) and we have a very good player on our hands. The likelihood of players like Rothwell, Ledson and Robbie Hall signing new contracts has improved as well.

He has already told 4/5 players they are not wanted next season and in the interview where he mentioned it, he said you still wouldn't notice it with the size of the squad.

Lovely result yesterday. At least a draw with Rochdale and the travelling support can have a stress free trip to Blackburn.

What sort of impression is Phil Brown making?

From our point of view, Bury, MK Dons and Northampton can not realistically catch us now.

However, on Tuesday Oldham have a home game against Southend who have nothing to play for, and Rochdale have a home game with Plymouth who lost at Northampton yesterday.

Two home wins and we will feel hot breath on our necks. Two unlikely away wins and we might just have got that get out of jail free card we do not deserve.

We are truly horrendous ATM.

We were utterly superb yesterday. Two huge games against Walsall and Oldham to decide our season. Two wins might not be enough but at least we're having a go at last.

We haven't had a shot on target for two games, decided to play a youth team keeper on Saturday and Lovell doesn't seem to think playing our two top scorers together is a good idea anymore.

I just can't see us scoring the goals to keep us up. Need at least a win and a draw from Northampton (GIANT GAME), Bradford and Fleetwood.

We're doomed IMO, we just can't score with this awful, awful squad.

As Dean Austin said "There are teams looking over their shoulder now, we are going hunting and we are going to hunt these teams down." Have a feeling he means Walsall, Jonny.

Already nervous for next weekend.

Very difficult to tell. As with a few new managers, yours included, he’s been lumbered with the players at his disposal.

It’d be easy to point to having half a season without our main 2 CBs, squad disharmony - probably cultivated by Flitcroft - but the simple truth is that we have been utter shite for far too many games. I presume between them Power and Brown knows if he’s staying long term, I wouldn’t mind him. That or a Craig Bellamy type. As long as it’s someone who can see that the present lot need culling pretty darn quickly.

100%, and we can't stop it. I have a strong feeling we're going to get turned over badly on Saturday. We just offer nothing going forwards so games just end up in us batting off wave after wave of attack till we concede.

Unless Oztumer magically turns into the Oztumer who carried us for one and a half seasons again, then your goalie won't have a shot to save and we always concede at least one.

Our only other hope is Richard O'Donnell doing his old club a favour and throwing a few in his own net.
