Plymouth fans, make yourself at home.
Most one sided 2-1 I've ever seen.

More red cards than points for Argyle isn't it?

Unless something drastically changes for Argyle, on yesterday's performance I'd say they're doomed. They need a fresh face/January ASAP

Our owner right now as we head for a third relegation in five years since John Ryan left due to him quite openly not giving a fuck and a bizzare (seemingly) club policy of not sacking managers

Gills v Cobblers looking like a bit of a 6-pointer next week. I'm relatively confident about it worryingly.

You are aware we're probably going down anyway?

Rochdale and Gills away this week. Absolutely huge games.

You're displaying uncharacteristic confidence with the use of "probably" there. :bg:

I honestly don't think we're that far away. We're relatively decent defensively, just can't score enough - although yesterday we looked threatening with the addition of pace to the side (hardly rocket science). We still do have several injuries too so once they're back we'll be able to have a few bench options.

We still aren't what you would consider 'good' though.

I wonder how we get on against the lower teams this season. Historically we tended to get our results against top half teams and sod all from those in and around relegation. After we play Bradford on Tuesday, we will have played 11/12 of the top half, and none of the 7 teams who sit below us.

Hope we can pick up some points in the coming weeks.

Don'y get excited because you beat us, we're utterly hopeless with a clueless manager. Won't be long before we're in here.

I'm not.

You were terrible, but that doesn't excuse the fact that we played well. It was a very polished away performance.

So Ferguson wasn’t seen after we went 2-0 down today, I think we might finally be getting some light at the end of the tunnel of this 2 years of hell

He’ll never get another job

4 points from 2 away games this week. Something to build on now, Blackpool at home next week and hopefully we can start to get some momentum.

But you were already promoted? We hardly won when there was nothing to play for. Unless stuff happened away from the pitch?

A relegation 6 pointer on the 9th Dec at Plymouth/ or whoever finishes bottom? A ray of light has been extinguished today.

It hasn't really. We played well enough to win the game, just got beaten by two good long range strikes that hit three posts between them. We didn't have the rub of the green yesterday, but the performance was encouraging. Also, things could've been far different had the ref given a deserved red rather than a yellow when List was taken down when he had a clean run on goal after only about 10 minutes - same thing happened on Tuesday and we didn't get that call either. You don't often get the luck when you're down the bottom end, but Northampton certainly did yesterday - it'll be our turn in a game soon and we'll have to enjoy that when it comes!

I agree with Joe, the performance itself wasn't at all bad. In other games we've looked lost, but not in this one. Over the last three games we've improved and I'd say definitely heading in the right direction.

Was that similar to the same at our end after about 5 minutes that didn't even get a yellow? It all evens itself out at the end of the season...
