Rochdales cup run may well relegate them. Will Oldham finally lose WABLO status.

Your checking out, were checking in !

I don't think you'll have anything to worry about, you weren't desperately awful on Saturday and you certainly have some more than capable players.

I'm quietly confident that we'll get out of the mire. Current form is pretty damn good.

Actually closer to the PO places than the drop zone for the first time this season. Probably looking at 13/14 points just to make sure.

We're closer too but you can easily drop back down as quick as you came up - I'm still cautious personally.

Especially as we have Wigan & Shrewsbury this month (at least we're at home this time)

In fact of the higher placed teams; Wigan, Shrewsbury, Scunthorpe, Charlton & Blackburn - all are at home thankfully

We aint owt special by any means, and the top class football we played in wellens caretaker spell is a distant memory but with the january transfer window gone now, and the takeover to complete, We kept our 3 best players (all be it Doyle out til march), we should be fine.

Yesterday was a big result for us. It's about getting to summer for us now and then Al's era can truly begin

Deserve to be relegated for that pitch alone.

We haven't been able to spend on it in the last 10 years. It's a 500 grand pitch that but is 8 years overdue renewal. Hopefully it will be addressed in summer now the takeover has gone thru

I won't be making excuses for our shower of shite, but that pitch was as bad as I've seen. Ours is bad but not in that league, probably the main reason for such an ugly game players from neither side could really dribble with the ball or play decent balls.

It's looking extremely bleak for both Rochdale and Bury.

And whilst we weren't great yesterday - the pitch simply doesn't allow for it - MK were absolute toss.

Have a feeling the bottom 3 as is now will be the bottom 3 come May.

Can't write Rochdale off just yet with the games in hand, the Cup run not helping them.

Maybe, you can't play over half a season and play absolutely shite we've got a lot of winnable games at home so hopefully we'll give it a good go

Crazy to think how Oxford could be dragged into this, you've spent most of the season in roughly 10th?

FWIW - I think Oxford will be more than fine

We're only 4 points off 10th now, the league is ridiculously tight, problem is we've been in relegation battle form for most of the season but a good start kept us in mid table, now that form is getting even worse we're all getting a bit nervous

We should be fine realistically, Bury and Rochdale are so far behind us I can't see either of them catching us, so we only really need 2 other teams to be equally as crap as us the rest of the way and we'll be ok, but the worry is we look completely powerless to get ourselves out of it, and relying on others is not good at all

What a shite season it's been, so much promise after the first 2 games

You guys on the other hand seem to be hitting form at a good time

No offence but I hope all the teams outside the playoffs don't make it, need some bloody southern teams in this league next year

Current best realistic scenario from that point of view would be Reading, Birmingham and Burton down and Luton, Wycombe, Notts County and Colchester up so it's not exactly a fine choice even if they are more 'southern'. On the flip side, a new 7 of Sunderland, Barnsley, Hull, Luton (inevitable), Accrington, Lincoln and Mansfield would provide some decent opportunities for weekenders!

Its been really tight all season, that fact that Gillingham & Plymouth even have a chance is unreal considering their starts.

I think there are definitely worse teams than you - besides there are still so many games to go, for some reason it feels like the season is about to end!

No offence taken, if we don't go up (which we won't) then I don't want yourselves, Plymouth or Walsall going anywhere. If we could get 2 or 3 of Birmingham/Reading/Wycome/Swindon/Exeter - then i'd be very happy

Surely you have all noticed that the other two teams currently sitting in the bottom four other than Bury and Rochdale are the Wombles and MK.

I wonder if the Wimbledon fans would not mind going down so much if they can take MK with them. In fact, would they miss the hatred derby otherwise?

I like Burton as an away day, really good away stand for getting a decent atmosphere
Ideally one of Birmingham or Reading would join them but unlikely, but with at least 2 northern clubs, and Shrews looking like going up that straight away is 1 more local game for us, maybe more if we get lucky

Luton is a better away day than MK and Wimbledon, Wycombe, Notts, Mansfield and the scum are all better too, so hopefully get at least 2 of them, and if Accrington or lincoln join them then they're no worse than Rochdale or Bury anyway, at least they're likeable clubs (nothing against Rochdale, but Bury are filth)

Looks like it's going to be a much better league for us southerners next year at least

Never considered Wycombe a good away day in fairness, it's just a bit boring all round. I suppose any of the above can be fun in the right circumstances, but can't say I'm thrilled about getting to go back to Luton again...
