Clearly you have some kind of bitter issue with us, well you'll be pleased to know that we'll never have to cross paths again as our club slides into ruin. Cheers.
I dont think we have any issues with you. You are just another team who could help relegate us.

At half time I said Vales performance was the worst I’d ever seen. Clearly at that point Barnets response was “hold my beer”.

Two utterly useless teams playing like you’d expect.

Might survive due to just being two or three more weaker sides... if we cling on to the EFL massive clear out needed!

1-1, 70 minutes gone, at home to a relegation rival, 7 points adrift.

Westley logic: let's take off Akinde and both wingers who have done okay, and bring on a defender to play on one wing, a powder puff from the NL North to play on the other, and a forward who's scored 3 goals in 18 months!

Oh well, Barrow it is next year then.

I was surprised when Akinde was subbed

I could only laugh when Matthew Briggs spurned our final opportunity to create something By pushing the ball forward with his right foot before he tried to cross it in with his left.

Taking off Harness surprised me from us and Akinde for them.

Huge chance now with three home games in the next four, one against Chesterfield and once against a meh Stevenage side along with a stuttering Exeter. Unbeaten at home in four months... keep that up after those three and we will be about there. If we’d just held on at bloody Grimsby!

Mad to think how congested the sides from 22nd up to 17th are. Vale get a draw and move up 4 places.

Long as it stays congested between 22nd and 17th rather than down to 23rd we will all be happy I’m sure!

You'll be fine. You'll bounce back, that's what you always do.

I'd be very worried about my club's future if I was a Chesterfield fan, though. I think they'd really struggle down here. I don't think they would do it on a wet Tuesday night in Solihull.

Looked bad at the time but have just seen a replay of our goal and that keeper of theirs has actually done the impossible and made ours look just about competent. On the subject of our keeper can someone at least work on his kicking if nothing else? Was ridiculous the amount of times he just kicked it out aimlessly for a throw in.

We had a fair bit of possession tonight but at no point did we look like we knew what we were trying to do with it. Really need to bring Whitfield back into that starting lineup for the next game.

Hoping that Barnet and Chesterfield stay bad enough so we don’t even have to worry. Just a win or two might do it. Though I’m not expecting us to get anything from these next two games.

If you had gone to tonight’s match, you will have had no worries!

He could start by not picking 2 Central midfielders with a combined age of nearly 70. It clearly isn’t working and hasn’t been for a while. He could try giving other players in the squad a go, it’s got to be a better option than this garbage.
I don`t think they are , that is the problem-cheers Brown.

Unbeaten in 5, two wins in last two away games.
You'd love a stutter like that..

The answer to that is at the same time as our match last night was taking place, an Iranian New Year celebration was being held in the Amber Suite and all of our astroturf pitches were in use bringing in extra revenue.

Whats the deal with the Hive out of interest? Do you own it? As know Barca for example have used it... assumed it was like St Georges to a degree and you just used it?

That's what gives Chesterfield and Barnet hope. Put a run together and they're certain to catch someone. Those 5 or 6 above it have to make sure that it's not them that becomes the target for those two.

Our next 3 are at Accy, Crewe and at home to Mansfield. Pick up less then 2 points from those and we're right back in the shit, as we'll be 22nd and the primary target again.

Very little hope from me personally. We will get what we deserve

Yes, a lot of teams rather better than either Barnet or Vale have trained there! In fact, Nigeria are going to be playing Serbia in a warm-up friendly in a fortnight's time.
As for the owner, one of the other Bees' fans on here may correct me but I think that it is owned by a company of the chairman's and the club is one of the subsidiaries.

Fair play, the fans who went were impressed, even if they didn't leave until 2AM when a replacement coach arrived from Stoke to pick them up!

I just heard about that on our club's message board. I feel for them. I suffered a similar experience coming back from Altrincham on our supporter's coach back in 90/91 and we didn't get to London until midnight after a 1pm kick-off! Again the issue was that we had to wait hours for a replacement coach.

The Hive is owned entirely by TK. Parts may be in different company names, but he owns all the companies. It is still work in progress as planning permission is being sought to build a Sports hall with possible Basketball/Netball franchise, one of the 3g pitches to become an indoor facility, and a New home end (South Stand) similar to what is described as possibly the best away end in the league. Once all that is done, there is talk of possibly a Hotel on site, as quite a few international sides, and overseas sides hire out the Hive. Last years turnover for the whole complex was in the region of 5-6 million, and hopefully this will increase with all the new additions. It's just a shame that the Footballing side has become so neglected.

That is a great pair up, are Serbia not one of the most racist set of fans going ?

Was very impressed last night with The Hive. Good away end and the bar under there was great. Easy access from the Tube as well which was handy.

I think that's why there's a seating plan for both sets of fans this time whereas there wasn't any for another friendly between Nigeria and Senegal that was held last season although the Nigerian supporters vastly outnumbered the Senegalese supporters.
I might go to this friendly as at least it's an opportunity to see some top-level players at the Hive such as Matic, Tadic, Iwobi and Ndidi.
