Bristol rovers were better than us today and deserved at least a point. However our inability to hold onto a lead at home is very frustrating. Think we will fall short but maybe a few twists and turns to go yet. We must beat wycombe at home.
I don't really think Bristol rovers were better than us today.A draw was probably the right result however We needed to get the 2nd goal when we were dominating in the 1st half We just lack that bit of quality. We are still in there fighting but I think we will go down.

whilst I certainly wouldn't wish relegation on anyone, the fourth tier is unofficially The Rochdale Division, so to an extent there'll be the "pleasure" of a welcome home. No?
No. Sorry.

Wycombe, however, should stay up - and I hope they do. And if Akinfenwa fancies a year or two in the North, I'm sure he'd be welcomed here. .

Interesting.. I didn’t watch much of the game as I’m away for Easter but every time I did check in on iFollow (especially the first half) you were absolutely battering us.

Second half I saw some bits and while we huffed & puffed we didn’t seem to do much, albeit one chance with a one-on-one resulting in a cracking save.

Anyway, good luck Wombles. What a turn around it’s been for you, fingers crossed you can manage to stay up for that alone

Big win for Rochdale, in a game that for long periods we were second best in. Akinfenwa was brilliant for Wycombe, but our defenders restricted him to just one effort on goal, which was easily saved.

Gives us a realistic chance of staying up, despite having a useless defence under Hill.

BBM seems to be having the luck of the Irish.

PS Wycombe would have won the game if they hadn't insisted on wasting so much time from about minute 5 until Dale scored on minute 79.

Why would a team on top be so stupid?

Wycombe are well known for there time wasting antics, feigning injury constantly is a favoured one !!! I can't wait to play them next Saturday.

congrats Rochdale, we keep our brown trousers firmly in the wardrobe sadly.
You were a bit unlucky. Definitely a game to make the tippy-tappy school of coaches wince, but good to watch.

Keith Hill rumoured to be our new permanent manager should do a job in league 2 for us.

Our relegation will be confirmed against Bradford in a few weeks. Bradford sending Rory McArdle down, will be nice for them at least.
There’ll be no pleasure in sending McArdle down, McMahon on the other hand...

He's injured so probably won't be playing. Wish he was, our only good player.

Seems a good fit for him - probably be decent in whichever division you're in.

Happy to say that we are officially out of the dogfight.

Would like Plymouth to stay up (for obvious reasons)

Ha ha I think you are fine. I would tear your arm off for a point. 50 points Is pretty much safe. Look at the remaining fixtures of others. Stanley v Plymouth Plymouth scunthorpe Last day.

Yep cos I did think if not today then when? Hard last game at home as well
Yep it really was win today or down with that final game against Sunderland if we can conjure up another 3 points this coming Saturday at Rochdale I’m hopeful that will see us safe

Lol, we couldn’t beat an egg. Next week has 0-0 written all over it.
You might be right, can't see us scoring. Our defense is very easily penetrated though, one hopeful smash and you're in.

Don’t get me started, it’s just infuriating to see, and yes it can be totally counterproductive - even if we were winning, why the hell would you want to create more stoppage time - ie. more chance for the opposition to score?

Anyway - thank fuck for a win yesterday, apparently it was a truly dire game but I could not care less at this stage.

If we can scrape a point out of our two remaining fixtures, we may be mathematically safe - doable but there is still zero room for complacency.

I reckon we’ll be a very good shout for relegation next season even if we do stay up - unless a) we can unearth some cracking “rough diamonds” from non-league who will play for pence or b) can sort out some top-notch season-long loanees.

The close season is going to be vital in terms of rebuilding.

Hopefully, but when we went down to the NL, we all thought we were safe until the unthinkable happened.

I did the Grimsby forum predictor & did a worse case scenario which saw us relegated. I then did a 'realistic' prediction with us losing both games and we just survived.

We will go down.No chance of us getting anything at Luton tonight and I fully expect Wycombe will come and do a job on us on Saturday. There will be too much pressure on us to win the game.We needed to win one of our last two home game's against Bristol rovers and Accrington and couldn't so I see no reason why we will beat Wycombe.I reckon we could be relegated come 5 o'clock on Saturday.

Really going tits up at home park.

Striker Ladapo, one of the top scorers in the league didn’t feature against Barnsley and Adams said he ‘ruled himself out’. Ladapo then tweets this morning implying that this was a load of bollocks.

Now revealed by a video online that Ladapo and Lameiras were in Pryzm clubbing late on Wednesday night a day before the game at Gills. Really poor form.

Adams has lost the fans - now looks like he’s losing the dressing room at the worst possible time.

Have never committed to any Adams in/out calls before but I think no matter what his time needs to be up at the end of the season. No excuses for us to be in a relegation scrap this season, and now we are praying there’s 4 teams worse than us.

Yes, but it was "Work It" Wednesday at Pryzm so that may be part of their training regime?

Err, is that why Ladapo only then scored once against us?

Yep, when/if he scores he normally scores twice! Not saying it affected his performance but it’s a shithouse thing to do at this stage of the season and in our position.
