All seems to be hotting up now with only 8 points seperating Bradford in 23rd and Accrington in 14th. Way to close to call but unfortunately I cannot see Wimbledon climbing out of this one. Three spots to fill from a possible 10 sides at least.

We're gone, no question. After signs of early life under Downes we looked utterly devoid of confidence and basic ability across the pitch last night. Even the youth products who've done really well under him so far looked like clueless little boys. Trying a couple of them out of their regular positions is brave but they'll take time to learn those roles. Don't blame Wally though. He's inherited a squad without character, made of glass or simply not up to this level and he's doing the right thing by bringing on the next generation. No fit strikers for weeks now, so Jake fecking Jervis starting up front week after week shows how bad it is. Just hope we can pull enough fight together in the next few months to have a real go at not finishing rock bottom and hit League Two running.

To be honest no one outside the top 7 is 100% safe and everyone below them is just a bad month away from the drop zone. Don't support a league 1 team but I'm excited for the next 3 months

Excited is the not word I would use.

Terrified, Shitting, pessimistic, depressed, dreading, resigned, thoroughly pissed off.

Take your pick, but excited?

No. definitely not that.

Why wouldn't you be excited when you have Tom Eaves in your team

Gillingham will be ok, at the end of the day they have a top striker in Eaves that will score important goals for them when needed.

Our top scorers go:

CM: 4
CB: 3
RB: 2
CB: 2

You’re assuming he will still be here in a weeks time Gassy

I think Wimbledon and Rochdale will go down. The other 2 positions who knows? If Gills lose Eaves and don't get an adequate replacement in, then I think they'd be favourite to occupy another spot. The final spot is then up for grabs and I imagine will go down to the last game of the season.

I think we'll outscore enough teams to stay up - yes we are on a good run but our fixture list over the next 7 or 8 weeks is tough. Including Portsmouth, Sunderland, Peterborough and Luton. So will be in a better position to judge after that run.

For selfish reasons, I really hope you sell him!

He was quality for us when on loan a good few years before he joined your lot.

How much do you reckon he's worth?

The Easter weekend will be crucial for us, as we have Plymouth at home and Bradford away.

THe problem is Gassy that his contract is up in the summer and he has already said he will not be signing another so we are not exactly in a strong bargaining position.

It depends on whether we decide to get something for him rather than nothing (we probably will), or whether we decide that staying up is worth more than a couple of hundred thousand.

Urgh, been in this position too many times in the last few seasons.

If I were you lot I’d keep him and risk it, personally.

I think we'll lose Eaves, especially as there's the unexpected new pitch to pay for this year. If we do though I fully expect us to go down.

Have to pay Scally's wages somehow.

I was hopeful after hearing that we might actually sign someone decent this window. We're fucked though.

There are no rumours about us signing anyone. I'm glad to be able to keep you all updated.

Same for us.

We were told we have to let players go, to get players in.

Players left, but no one is in or expected to be in.

Starting to look downwards and not up. We really could do with a win soon and at least a point at Bradford this evening :err:

Well and truly in this... Ricketts' record, all be it with the majority of Askey's squad, is just as bad as under John Askey.

Went properly mental at 4-3, a draw would’ve felt like day light robbery. We just played alright, thankfully Shrewsbury were really poor and failed to benefit from a referee who I can only assume has SALOP tattooed across his chest.

Whats your opinion about Wimbledon against Burton.
I believe with unchanged team can take the win.
For me Burton haven`t energy to fight play-off Positions.

Personally think we won't stay up. Out of ideas once again from the 1st minute, no plan A nevermind a plan B.

How Barnsley thought George Miller was worth £200k+ is absolutely madness. I know today we didn't play to his strengths at all but when one big chance comes to him he blazes over.

What are his strengths?! We need lawyers looking into see if Barnsley can be forced to have him straight away.
