We're absolute shite and I never wanted him back in the first place, we're a joke, a total joke club sleep walking to oblivion, being mid table in the Conference North should never, ever, be seen as "decent", anything less than being near the top is an abject failure.
And as often happens defeat to a lower league club puts the nail in the coffin like it did with crosby at gateshead

At least the fantasy of "Gary Mills-Non-Leagues best manager" has been well and truly put to bed.

File under Steve Burr - Best Manager In Non-League after those three good months at Kidderminster. I see his Stalybridge Celtic are currently second bottom.

Well, well, well - wonder if we will get any compo?

Truth be told, not that bothered he has gone.

He drove a wedge through the heart of the club at the last fans forum where he announced that he needed more money and had investors lined up, without consulting the board. The problem was that the investor was Raj Singh, who almost destroyed the club in 2011/12.

Quite why Gray thought that would be a good idea is beyond me, and a heck of a lot of fans were turned off him from that point. It perhaps shows how desperate he was for extra money, if he though Singh was the answer.

Well York have more money so he can fulfill his ambition there, not convinced that he will be a success though.

He's got to go down as a Darlo legend though hasn't he? He's taken you to about the maximum he can under your current set up.

York are a bigger full time club. It's an understandable move really, will be interesting to see how he gets on there

Yes it's an understandable move, though he hasn't given us much of a thought by resigning to then be offered the York job 5 seconds later. Clearly the resignation was done with the York job in mind, and questions need to be asked about how York have approached this as well - could this not be seen as a deliberate attempt to evade paying compensation? Or have they given Darlo compensation?

You're right that he should go down as a legend, but he has quite literally undid most of his reputation with the fans forum debacle.

Yeah cant say i blame him. With ground issues maybe he had taken darlington as far as he could

Best of luck to martin grey. Good player and good fit for york with davr penny who did well at darlington, getting them promoted. I know grey alienated the fans over the raj singh saga but fault his ambition. Obviously gray must have agreed to the job before mills was sacked.

If we lose our two games this week, we'll have lost 6 of the last 7 - Steve Davis's head will be on the line, if it wasn't already. Not all his fault as our players have missed alot of chances including a few sitters, but you can see why he failed so badly at Crewe, unable to adapt his game.

A shame, as I admire the way we play and create chances. But the truth is, we really are fucking shit at defending as a team

He's been there a long time hasn't he?

Okay, I'll bite. Under Burr, we finished 6th, 6th, 2nd and were 3rd when we sacked him. Hardly just a good three month spell...

Because he flirted with FGR and took his eye of the ball at Kiddy.

Solihull Moors have appointed former Luton and Cambridge boss Richard Money as their new manager.

Seems a decent enough appointment, that.

I mean, he doesn't get on well with the fans but that's not a massive issue there...;)
