He started very well though. Irrelevant now but do you think if he'd scraped you to safety this season, you'd have had a better time next season? I always think inexperienced managers struggle a bit when it's not going well. Early part of the season though there was a freshness about you. I can see why he's been sacked of course but I'm wondering if he's one of them that maybe needed a full season to learn from it, then he'd be more equipped next season? Or had he just completely lost the plot.

They sold their only two good players without adequately replacing them. Not sure why the board were expecting miracles.

From a outsider looking in is there much to be gained at woking getting a new manager at this stage. In similiar situations a coach or senior player usually takes caretaker charge to see season out like at hartlepool who acted a little earlier

Honestly have no idea what next season would be under him, he is most likely a very good coach but managing a conference team was out of his league for now. Too one dimensional, very stubborn about changing his style of football even when we're getting spanked by everyone.

We have Geoff Chapple stepping in till the end of the season, managed us during the 90s when we got to 3 fa trophy finals and done very very well in the league, he's always been around the club he'll always be there, just hope the players have enough bottle to get out of this mess.

It was announced a while back that his contract wasn't going to be extended after the end of the season, and so I presume we'll be paying him till then. Bignot's behaved with great dignity since the announcement and didn't deserve this pointless treatment.

Looks purely like they've done it as a slap on the wrist because he told the public how useless the board are.

Only 3 weeks left. Callum is caretaker. The board disgust me. The only one who has shown any dignity is Marcus.

Certainly feels particularly weird that I remember McIntyre as a cocky 15 year old childishly pulling on the goal net away at Alty more recently than I care to remember.

Done a great job with our youth team though in fairness and only keeping the main seat warm.
