I'm absolutely flabbergasted how it wasn't us who won 4-0 as the better team definitely lost today and you just got the rub of the green. A totally freak result that one was.

And by the way what a shit following you brought up here for a L1 match you little woke posh university tinpotter twats.

We took over 4000 to Bolton.
Agree entirely with every point made unreservedly, youclearly have your finger on the division one pulse. Top bloke.

How was Harry Lewis today, Carlisle fans? He was amazing last year but think he was the second worst 'keeper in League Two this year going off the stats. He looked short of confidence and kept making silly errors. I was sad to see him go because he was always a big hit with the fanbase.

Awful, Awful, awful. Cheltenham have Pett who was a decent enough player for us but I agreed on him being released because he's a lower end league 1 / league 2 player but he's absolutely ran that today. Taylor who looked like an 80 year old playing for us also notches. Outfought, outthought and out of this league. We had an awful squad last time we were relegated from this league, but at least they tried. This team looks to have given up. Another team below us who won't have an easier 3 points this season. With the greatest of respect to Cheltenham, Fleetwood, Carlisle, we have to beat them regularly to have any chance. The fact Cheltenham have taken 6 points off us is a damning indictment of this club and where we stand. Cheltenham are in the position they are in for a reason, but they play to their strengths and it is picking them up points.

We have a new manager playing the same formation that has consistently failed us for 2 seasons now. I hope he has seen that our players are nowhere near capable. We need to go back to basics....defend deep and hope to scab one, because going toe to toe with even the poorest teams in the league is only going to end badly.

Be a miracle if Moore keeps this lot up, they've given up.
To be fair I think we can reasonably say we're in a bit of a false position at this point - our form since DC came in would put us 7th. Wade Elliott gave everyone an 11 game head start which may very well cost us still, but since then we are comfortably a top half team.

Terrific performance from Fleetwood who dominated the first half and were denied a blatant penalty. Best player on the pitch was Bosun Lawal who scored a superb goal, and boy will we miss him when he goes back to Celtic. So many positives to take from this which can only augur well for the remainder of the season and into the next campaign - where ever that takes us !
Barnsley solid team who will fancy their chances of going up, and they will know they have been in a game today
Charlie Adam is stamping his personality on this team and the future is bright

Basically this.

I fancy us against anyone at the moment, and that's evidenced by beating Pompey at home and then outplaying both Bolton and Derby away from home.

We nearly got caught out today, but there's no doubt we deserved the win in the end. All three of our goals were brilliant in some way or other as well. I'll be honest, I didn't think the free-kick we equalised was a free-kick, but the Vale player didn't seem to complain, so I'll accept I was too far away.

In Darrell Clarke we trust - we're currently within three points of the three teams above us and we have two games in hand on all three of them. We're getting out of this, and you better believe we deserve to!!

How did Owen Moxon do today?
Started abit slow, but grew into the game. Still a yard off the pace we play the game at, but some moments of extremely good control and quick feet. Much more composed 2nd half

Well yeah of course I fancy it, always have and you were the shittest team I've seen us play this season by far. I have absolutely no doubt that we will absolutely annihilate you tomorrow 6-0 at least because you're really just a shitty little L2 club at best and it will be a complete utter walk in the park and you're just so shit and a backward fucking minnow tinpot club with shite fans and there's not a single player of yours who would get in our squad and your manager whoever he is is absolutely clueless and how you ever got as far as L1 is a sick joke considering how fucking shit your club is.

If I ever had any certainty of us winning a game in the history of our club then it is tomorrow.
Your FOURsight is always enjoyable to read even if it is always FOURthright and downright FOURking stupid most of the time.

Everyone could FOURsee and FOURecast that it was always a FOURmality that Cambridge would win today. Brunton Park just isn’t the FOURtress it used to be. There was nothing FOURtunate about that win and although you must feel rather FOURlorned, I feel you must FOURgive your shit show of a team after they were one of the FOURrunners in League 2 last season.

You were FOURewarnee that this isn’t an easy division, especially for a little club like Carlisle. You will FOURever be destined to reside in League 2.

Etc etc

I have to say your team have been superb for quite a while. Considering your start to the season it's nothing short of incredible. Don't stop winning now ( except against us ! )

That is the average attendances in L1 this season and look how fucking bigger we are to you, not bad for a club bottom of the league and 'forever destined' for L2.

We absolutely fucking eclipse you lot in terms of club size and if we were doing well then we'd be in the top 4 of that table.

Is that what you’re resorting to? Attendances? So what? That means we’re making even more of less money than you which is even more shameful for your club.

On the whole, there is nothing embarrassing about your football club, you are just having a shit season - it happens to all of us. But your posts are embarrassing, it’s hardly any wonder other Carlisle fans despair at your posts. You deserve everything you get from Cambridge fans today after your posts. It’ll be a relief when you (you personally, not Carlisle as I have no beef with Carlisle) are no longer part of the league 1 forum.

Huge 3 points today against an in form Reading. They had plenty of the ball and created some half chances first half. However, we are notoriously slow starters and the second half was convincing stuff with a couple of excellent goals from Pack and Lang.

6 more wins from 12 should get us home. Finally, no injuries today. Don't want to sound overconfident but this team have earned our trust.

Where's the Derby, Peterborough, Wigan, Reading and Barnsley fans all at on here?? Big clubs my fucking arse!

And the Port Vale fans depress the fuck out of me and they are all whinny. Try being bottom of the league c***s!!!

Wow, imagine wanting to get relegated because some online forum is better in League two. That is priceless.

I miss Devon Lad. He was the star of the show on here in the summer of 2022 with talk of the Exeter youth team being good enough to walk the league, let alone the first team. Disappeared without trace when reality hit, sadly.

Ahead of who? If Reading and ourselves were doing better we’d have a few thousand slapped on top of our averages too.

Anyway, decent point on the road for us, the fight and desire that’s been missing for over 3 months, plus a bit of shithousery and gamesmanship that rattled the opposition. About time.

All clubs that are big enough to have discourse on the main social media platforms. A lot of people come to these forums because they can’t chat with the premier league supporting mates about league 1 or 2 because they just don’t care. Just look at the premier league forum, completely dead.

Even Pep isn’t getting a tune out of our lot! Our form over the last 23 games is probably worse than yours (15 points!).

Correct, obviously I’m slightly different in that I’m not local to Vale either but aside from this forum it’s rare to find anyone else to talk to locally about L1 and 2.

Do question my life choices regularly mind in that regard, if I’d gone with the majority I could have seen a miracle Prem title win, shock FA Cup win and Champions League football.

Yeah I’m in a similar boat, as I grew up in the midlands. Our relevance has completely faded away in the last 15 years. Even ten years ago the abuse I’d have got for the season we’re having would have been off the charts. Nowadays there is barely even a care when we nearly pulled off the worst loss in fa cup history (in terms of positions between the two sides)

Deserved win in the end for us. A tough watch for the first 50/60 minutes, I didn't think we'd see a side at Sincil Bank this season more toothless than a Mark Kennedy one but Exeter managed it.

They had a good chance after HT but that aside, nothing. We had four or five chances in the second half and it was no surprise we got better when Bishop came on and we tweaked the system. We're managing his minutes, which is fair enough, and whilst a midfield of McGrandles, Erhahon and Hamilton is a good, solid partnership, they don't have the creativity that Bishop has.

7 unbeaten, 4 clean sheets with Vale and Shrewsbury next.

3 of the promoted clubs are quite enjoying League 1 as well. A lot better than League 2.

Bringing on Bishop after an hour or so made all the difference and Exeter just couldn't deal with him.
Delighted Taylor finally got his opening goal.
We're still not scoring very many but very misery at the other end, joint 3rd best defensive record in the division I believe.
