Well into 45 minutes of P'boro shithousery. They look awful at the back.

Ellis Harrison returns and starts with Wilson which is sort of positive but dropping Butterworth is a shame as he’s been quality. A surprise start for Politic though didn’t see that coming.

Butterworth is very unfortunate to be dropping to the bench. Slight risk to go with no sub keeper.

Surely if Stone isn’t fit just put the youth one on the bench? Considering how well the kids are doing in the FAYC he’s better than no option!

Strange Butterworth swapped for Politic but Dennis did set one up and scored and set one up the game before

Not sure why Chauke is playing but there you go. I would have thought three up front was needed.
Not confident now

Christ we've been awful, FGR well on top but still feel there's 3 points for the taking if we actually get our heads in the game.

Decent win, feels like we have a stonewall pen turned down every week. Back to the pub we go

Taking McGeouch off, putting Little on is another of Burchnall's Inexplicable Non-Genius Substitutions

Two teams that I think are very liable to an error at the back so far. We had the better of the opening 10 then Rovers the next 10.

Dan Jones has been good lately but he might as well be wearing blue and white quarters how he he has started.

Coburn having his shirt pulled constantly and the ref giving nothing each time. Ugly side of the game that so frustrating

Wish ours had been called off…. We have loads missing through injury and illness. 2 kids on the bench plus bodvarsson who has an operation booked tomorrow for his broken nose and will aimson who isn’t supposed to be back from injury yet. No santos, Morley, beck, Thomason all who would have started. And no Sadlier as well who has been such a good impact player for us.
Not so long ago we had a Bolton fan on here claiming you had the strongest squad and best bench in the the league.

Peterborough really did look dire. Couldn’t believe how poor they were.

Nevertheless, a well deserved win to see us top of the league at least for now

Not the greatest of halves that. Rovers had more of the ball but most of it has been knocking it among their defenders and keeper. Started at a fast pace but as it’s gone on it’s become very attritional.

Game and various spells, first 10 minutes we could of been 3-0 up and should really have taken at least one or two of those, second 10 we went all suicide Dan Jones gifting them possession in the final third and survived it then it’s set into a less chaotic mode for the last 25. We seem happy for Rovers to knock it about their back three and our press has so far worked ok to keep them there.

Bit stop/start as often seems the case when we face Rovers. Coburn and DJ is a good battle, both shirt pulling and the referee so far has given both sides mostly decisions in favour of the defending team.

Very scrappy. As you say Rovers knocking it around the back but we've not really done much apart from the 1st 10 minutes. Our bench is pretty strong, so hopefully that will sway it in our favour.

MASSIVE win for Forest Green in the MOTHER OF ALL TRUE DERBIES if they hang in there and vindication that Burchnall is the best manager in the division (maybe?).

Meanwhile, at Sincil Bank, or whatever you're supposed to call it these days, a cagey, scrappy game, lacking quality chances from either side really, though I'd say LCFC have had marginally the better opportunities.

Lincoln have countered well and have cut us to ribbons going through the centre when we've committed men forward. They are marking Mehmeti well out of the game, and why not since he's generally our single attacking outlet. Putting 2 men on him does of course leave gaps elsewhere defensively though, not that we're making the most of that.

Could very much go either way, this one.

Yeah very low quality so far as a game aside from one piece of absolute filth by Wilson.

That may just be the worst professional football match I've ever seen. FGR the better of two National League South level sides.

United v Plymouth is a surprisingly decent game - Plymouth hit the post but haven’t produced much else, I’d have created a few decent chances but haven’t managed to out one away. 0-0 probably fair…

Been the better of the two sides but the game hasn't been much of a spectacle, Bannan off injured.

That really was a bottom-of-the-table clash, but one with a few inspired moments (more in the first half than in the second). We did deserve the win, but more thanks to a few inspired individual performances than the team fitting together well, and it certainly didn't feel guaranteed until the final whistle blew. Will happily take the three points though.
