Our game with Mansfield has been put back 24 hours to Sunday afternoon. Temperatures tomorrow night reach the giddy heights of 1 degree for a while so might have a chance.

Tranmere fans have their wish, Game Off
I wasn't bothered about it being on. I was more bothered by getting a notification from ifollow reminding me to get a matchpass for tonights game against Grimsby 30 minutes after tomorrows game was postponed. Even by EFL standards thats high level incompetence.

Yet Mansfield are still playing on Tuesday?

Call the season off... PPG, all in favour?

No because Grimsby will be going down if they ppg the season. And next season is gonna be a nightmare down there.

Christ, if we get our game on it’d be a hell of an achievement. I remember we played Luton a few years ago at home when we had a similar run of cold weather and there were only two League 2 games on. We’ll see but I still doubt it. The fact there’s still a chance is a amazing.

Edit: I’d be pissed off if they go ppg or extend the season. We’re still getting our games on, not our fault other clubs can’t. ;-)

That's why they need to hurry up and make a call on whether the season will be extended, and not leave it until they have no choice. They could add an extra two or three weeks to the end of the season and then tear up the fixture list and start again. Alternatively they could wait until we get to March, by which time some teams could have played ten games more than others and it'll no longer be possible to rearrange the fixtures in a way that treats everyone broadly the same, because you'll have teams like Cambridge and Grimsby who have fewer games left to play having really spaced out fixture lists with entire fortnights off while they wait for others to catch up.

We played 19 games in March and April 91, then won the third tier - that’s similar to the number of games you have to fit in now. You’re fine at the moment, especially as the weather improves next week.

it will all be thawed out monday onwards.....Dont matter when Mansfield arrange the game for with only one ground staff and rain forecast chances it will be postponed a third time.
Pitch not fit for purpose.....neglect we should be awarded all three points and expenses

We have got a pandemic going on. Nobody knows how to respond to what is going on. People have died. If all that bothers you is wether or not some football clubs might have played the rules in their favour a little bit and it may affect the possibility of Bolton having a game on then quite frankly you are a psychopath.

The season should end when its supposed to end. If Carlisle have a problem playing home games do what you did after the floods and play somewhere else. Same applies to any other club. No fans are allowed so what is the problem.

Only three of our ten postponements have been to do with our pitch. The rest have been to do with Harrogate's pitch, coronavirus and the North Yorkshire power grid.

Presumably the curse will get us, but Mark Bonner wins Jan manager of the month, and predictably the best player in the league wins player of the month.

this is a FOOTBALL forum and for some a release from the day to day dealings with covid. Yes i am fully aware its a pandemic i have lost a relative to it, i work everyday with restrictions and wear a mask 9 hours per day to remind me,
We have to have a little normality somewhere and if we cannot go to the games and let off our views at the game...........All we have left is here.
So most on here still want to see a leval playing field if we cannot have that stop all games until all this is over

you come across as a normal guy away from the forum in that post. I havn't lost a relative - but have lost my next door neighbour and 3 of the elderly customers who used to come into where i work. Same with masks - 9 hours a night....
Yes the forum is a release for a lot of people at present and many people have personas on here that are either exaggerations of themselves or totally different to their normal selves.
I'd just tone it down a little bit - about how great Bolton are - because otherwise IF things go wrong you might end up like OneDecentLester and vanish from the forum for months out of embarrassment.

Good words thanks....I have had the one poster who basically is a prick and has a agenda against anything related to Bolton from day one. It was a reply to him.
Right or wrong forums are a place you can air your views with other like minded people. No need to worry about me if we dont go up i will be here all summer talking complete bollox how good Evatts team will be next season
