Pretty comfortable considering we had 10 men from the 25th min.
Stupid from Evans considering he was already on a yellow. Ref didn't show a 2nd yellow, straight red so 3 game ban? Be a massive loss for us.

Can see why Colchester are struggling. Barely made a chance until they scored even with a man advantage for the majority

As part of the Rovers in the community project, it was decided to give a masterclass to local schools on how not to defend and how to hide your midfield, unfortunately we decided to choose today to do it

Should have won today. On another day al hamadi would have had a hatrick. Missed too many chances. Still a.point away is ok

Felt so sorry for you lot today, we did a lot of things right but your lads were beyond woeful. No pressure whatsoever, County could waltz through whenever we wanted, so many basic errors.

Like I say I empathise, because we had so many abysmal seasons not long ago when the team had already given up before Christmas, and it's horrible to endure. Had a few 0-6s and a 0-7, so for me it was great to exorcise that particular demon

Newport made it really tough for us today, we struggled to string together the nice patterns of play that we’ve had previously since Artell came in because they bullied us at times.

It was looking like a really poor 0-0 until Bogle scored (poor from Cartwright imo) and from that point we burst into life and really should’ve won it.

Still loads to like, but we definitely need some reinforcements in.

Dire performance in the 2nd half. Accrington, who were missing far more important players than we were and had 3 go off injured in the game, gave us the absolute run around as we just forgot how to play football in every area of the pitch. Embarrassing to fall to pieces that badly being 2-1 up at home. Keeper let's in 2 more shockers, time's up for him. I've been patient and hoped he would get better, but he's not. They need to cut their losses in January.

Red card is dubious, if it was for a last man foul then the ball runs through to the keeper, so it's not a professional foul. If it's for violent conduct, then it still seems harsh. Hopefully we appeal. Got a cracking equaliser to salvage a draw, but it's papering over the cracks at the moment. Ok we're missing players, but so are most of the league. Doesn't excuse a woeful display against an even more injury hit opponent.

And then we have the manager claiming he's never seen our fans turn on a player like they did today when they booed Davies. Did he miss Harrogate away last season when the fans gave Dave Richards dogs abuse? Plus he claimed we should have won. Hilarious. Got a lot of time for him, but his interview tonight was as bad as the players performances.

Draw probably a fair result today between us and Newport. They applied more pressure throughout but I felt like we looked a bit more threatening when we did come forward. Had to be Bogle that scored for them though. Not a classic match in all honestly but keeps the unbeaten run going. Credit to Danny Rose for looking like he might have bust his arm while scoring after superb work from Holohan. Artell might have got his selection in the middle of the park a bit wrong today as it was much more of a Holohan and Green occasion than a Hunt and Clifton type affair.

Do Wimbledon just have the one player? I can’t think of another team on here or anywhere that single out one single person in every post.

This was a very good win for Town. The passing was positive with good running off the ball and a solid defence. We have played well in a few matches recently including against Wrexham and not got the result we deserved but today it all came together.

The big surprise is how poor County were. They just didn't seem to want to be there even when they pulled one back they remained very negative with no desire to go forward.

I don’t think a team has ever needed a January transfer window more than us right now.

I do think Williams needs to put us into damage limitation mode over the next 2 weeks, especially on Friday but it’s hard to blame him when he his going into games with no central midfielders or central defenders to pick from.

Recruitment has largely been excellent over the last couple of years but they’ve got it badly wrong allowing O’Brien to be our only backup midfielder and Aidan Stone is potentially the worst goalkeeper I’ve ever seen so god knows what’s happened there.

Rodrigues and Palmer absolutely huge misses for County. They're a weaker team than last season for that alone, heartbeat and tempo setter of the side gone.

Just been too loyal to players that were successful in national league but didn’t have the profile to succeed higher, hopefully you won’t make the same mistake next season (although giving Grimes a new contract until 2026 suggests otherwise).

Sutton were the worst professional team we've ever played. They were literally just arguing back to their manager and their subs were laughing and joking. He's definitley lost the dressing room, shame because he's done a great job to get them up and keep them there in their now 3rd(?) season in the FL. Obviously just been poor recruitment of some bad apples.

We're still fucked until we can bring players in, nothing has changed bar the fact we got 3 points and boosted the goal difference.

2025, but yea. You'll certainly know better than me, but I just feel Palmer is a much bigger miss than people realise, he controlled games for you from the middle absolute baller, and Rodrigues was at the centre of almost everything good you did going forward. Rodrigues seems to have been replaced by, whilst individually good players, don't quite fit as well into the system Williams has cultivated, and Palmer hasn't been covered at all (Jim O'brien can't be it, limited player who has almost as many appearances already this season as he did the whole last). Or is that what Gosling was brought in for? (what's happening there, is he not fit?). I just don't think this team is as strong as last seasons, personally. It was a clear identity you had everyone bought into it and knew their jobs, and relied on certain key players. I don't think there's anything catastrophic going on, you'll be fine, should be good for a playoff birth which I think would be a fine result, but you just seem to have weakened a bit as a unit.

Given the wages chesterfield are knocking out they’d be expected to do very well next season.

You know what you need to do in the transfer window to get back on track, sort out the defence, hardly rocket science.

In fairness this season is ridiculously tough league (despite barrow being 2nd) i genuinely believe most seasons this mansfield side would run off with things, we’re rocking along at 2 points a game and still 4th!

Aye he’s not very good. Nice lad but just don’t see his level above being a reasonable backup. He just doesn’t save anything or command his area particularly well. Some make the argument for him in terms of his distribution but call me old fashioned but I like my keepers to stop balls going in the net primarily. There’s a reason upgrading the keeper was our priority number 1 last summer.

No we have other decent players. It's just that if you take him out of our team we become far less effective. Overall we have a fairly decent squad. If anything we could do with another forward.

His distribution hasn't been great either.

Easy three points for MK. We are utterly hopeless, weak as piss defensively and offer virtually nothing going forward. And yet the deluded Horseman seems to think we're just unlucky. We'll be 8-10 points adrift of safety before he gets sacked which will make it an impossible job for whoever comes in.

We now know MSH is also out for an extended period so that’s fun.

Least it’s happened before the window and not after so we can bring someone in and ship Richardson back to Aberdeen.
