Barrow vs mansfield last game of the season too
Can come back and quote me later on, but I reckon Stockport, Wrexham and Mansfield are already up by then.

Sutton were the worst professional team we've ever played. They were literally just arguing back to their manager and their subs were laughing and joking. He's definitley lost the dressing room, shame because he's done a great job to get them up and keep them there in their now 3rd(?) season in the FL. Obviously just been poor recruitment of some bad apples.

We're still fucked until we can bring players in, nothing has changed bar the fact we got 3 points and boosted the goal difference.
Sutton were the best of the bottom 4 that we've played by some way, we had to really dig in to beat them. They must've really raised their game that night.

That Forest Green game being off could be a bad thing for us, they could get their house in order by the time we play them.

Gifted Bradford two goals, giving the ball away on the edge of our own box and basically jumping over a scuffed shot, but overall got what we deserved.
Bradford were organised, pressed very well and defended as a unit
For all of our huffing and puffing we never worked their keeper once really.
Bradford deserved it more because they wanted it more. Simples.
God we need a decent January.

Very funny watching Notts fans on Twitter coming out with public messages of support for our manager who has a 58.2% win ratio. Won, won promotion last season and now has us sat in 6th in the division above at Christmas.

Nothing like a bit of Meadow Lane melodrama.

2025, but yea. You'll certainly know better than me, but I just feel Palmer is a much bigger miss than people realise, he controlled games for you from the middle absolute baller, and Rodrigues was at the centre of almost everything good you did going forward. Rodrigues seems to have been replaced by, whilst individually good players, don't quite fit as well into the system Williams has cultivated, and Palmer hasn't been covered at all (Jim O'brien can't be it, limited player who has almost as many appearances already this season as he did the whole last). Or is that what Gosling was brought in for? (what's happening there, is he not fit?). I just don't think this team is as strong as last seasons, personally. It was a clear identity you had everyone bought into it and knew their jobs, and relied on certain key players. I don't think there's anything catastrophic going on, you'll be fine, should be good for a playoff birth which I think would be a fine result, but you just seem to have weakened a bit as a unit.

I think Rodrigues has been adequately replaced by Crowley and that’s without McGoldrick in the mix. But yeah, we miss Matty Palmer something rotten, just can’t work out if he is just that good or O’Brien/Gosling/Austin are that bad, bit of both probably.

To compound things it’s obvious that Bostock isn’t fully fit either at the moment and his minutes are being managed.

I didn't go and haven't seen highlights yet but according to our fans forum Crawley were beaten by a load of cheating giants who were too quick for us and had obviously bribed the ref.

Others have said that Mansfield managed the game well (including a pedantic, card happy ref) and had done their homework on our weaknesses and exploited them. These have obviously no idea about football.

Such are forums.

Seems our defender, Williams, was sent off for dissent! Second yellow. If I was his manager I'd be asking if he wanted to be kicked in his left, right or both testicles for that because he would be definitely be getting at least one. Sorry, but that's criminal for a professional footballer.

Nearly half a season gone. My take so far is we are so much better than last season where we could/should have been relegated but we aint good enough to beat the top sides.

Fantastic and important win for us, might possibly be the only three points we pick up over the Christmas period with our run in and injuries. Inching closer over the line to the Jan window

BELEAGUERED Notts County.

Andy Williams on the verge of the sack if my trusted sources are correct.

I hope they're not. Luke Williams has been brilliant for us and if he gets a decent keeper and a pair of midfielders there's no reason to believe he won't keep it up.

We’re in a death spiral
There is something going radically wrong at Swindon Town. I had you down as one of the top three but I now reckon you could be one of the bottom three. Have you got a major injury crisis or simply very short in depth squad wise.?

Assuming it was a joke from casey haha.

The penalty was ridiculous.

As for the crawley player getting sent off for dissent if you’ve got a card happy ref who appeared to have got loopy you’re asking for trouble.

That‘s part of a bigger problem. Yet again, ownership problems have exacerbated the problems on the pitch. The finances just don’t add up so we’re getting screwed over - again. Our costs can’t be that much different to loads of other L2 clubs. Our budget is historically small at well under £2m. Turnover is £7+m and there is little evidence that the other £5m is going on legitimate running costs. The club continues to stink and rot from the head down. I imagine our 2 best players will return to their parent clubs in Jan. Rumours that Khan/Hutton/Hepburn-Murphy and just about anyone else who could command a fee will be flogged if possible. Personally, I’d accept all this and the consequences, if, just for once, we could replace Clem with a trustworthy, genuine new owner. We just seem to be a target for gangsters.

Yesterday, by all accounts, it looked like the players didn’t give a flying one either. Flynn looks out of his depth - unable to come up with an alternative to the failing Plan A.

lol, oh right.

That’s cringe on their part.

Just read up on it mainly by a poster called “george” given the postings i’d assume said poster must be about 12.

I hadn't seen anything off the game when I posted. I have now

Fans forums Can be odd . That was my point.

The penalty. Please consider I've said on here a few times I'm baffled by the rules nowadays. The defender sticks his arm out to lightly brush the attacker. Seems that's a foul. At other times shoving someone off the ball with both hands is considered perfectly fine and 'its a man's game'. Blowed if I know any more.

Lance Stoe is trying to do the full 92 I reckon, so far he’s been a Stevenage, Scunny, Crewe, and now Grimsby fan.

Jordan White plays for them, tells you all you need to know about the SPL.
The pundits argument against it seemed to be based around how 3 Scottish teams had won in Europe this week so must be good.

Well credit to Rangers who had a decent win but the other 2 were dead rubbers with the Scottish teams at home against weaken teams.

Most of the domestic results seem to be 0-0/1-0 as well .
