A repeat of the cup game last season would be nice where we won 5-1 despite the divisional gap. Wilson terrorised them that day, then Coleman had his strange ranty interview suggesting we’ll be lucky to play them in the league next season… and here we are!

With their form we have to be looking to win this and bounce back but in fairness over the years it’s never always easy against Accrington so will still be a good test and need to put in another big performance to get a result.

Have to see if any issues weather wise later in the week as looks dicey as it stands.

Looking forward to my first trip to the Unibol. Only previous trip to Bolton was Burnden Park, for a 2-1 win in 1992. I suspect there will be a few more than were there that day!
We are playing well, unlucky IMO to have only picked up 2 points in 2 games.
Hope for a good performance, a win, and Saturday night out in Manchester!

As just said, playing well lately, so going with some sort of confidence, so hoping we get a result.
Around 800 tickets sold already, believe it’s their “family day” so is cheap tickets. Any idea how many home tickets sold, Bolton fans?

Expecting an Ipswich win, would take a draw now if offered.

Time to bounce back with a home win on Saturday. Im not one to underestimate any side in this division but we really should be picking up 3 points if we have any ambition of getting back onto the promotion waggon.

Not sure, but there’ll probably be about 15,000 home fans there (but that’s counting season ticket holders who don’t show up)

Two sides who don't score or concede many!

We had Garrick and Mandroiu back on the bench on Saturday, which was a plus. Still no sign of Bishop or Oakley-Boothe. We've had a handful of players return over the last two or three weeks so heading into a busy Xmas schedule, hopefully we can keep most fit through it.

Won't be many Lincoln at all I don't think, it'll be Southampton on Tuesday for most of those who'd have perhaps gone down to Cheltenham.

We're doing kid a quid this week - but it's the adult prices that take the piss. Expecting a sub-3,000 crowd, what with it being the week before Christmas.

As for the game, it depends which Cheltenham turns up. The motivated one who give it a go from the off, take the lead then invite the opposition to break down, or the unmotivated one that just grinds away without looking like scoring and then let's in a goal at some point to lose the game. If it's the first, then I fancy our chances.

Oxford beat us twice last season and were impressive both times. Obviously they aren’t doing as well this season but I’m still wary. Would take a 1-0.

Never seen us beat Oxford in a League game, still have nightmares over Easter Monday 1991

My guess would be our game doesn’t go ahead. Not diminishing anyone else in this league but Accy for what they’ve achieved maintaining this level over a long period of time with their resources command the highest level of respect. Whether Coleman could do it elsewhere I don’t know but at that club and with Andy Holt it just works.

If it did go ahead we should be favoured at home but football isn’t that simple.

That's in normal places, Vale Park, Oldham and Sunderland will be -17 with a windchill of -50
There is that, I made the mistake of wearing just shorts and a T-Shirt to Oldham away on a Tuesday in August once... mistake being the key word!

Cambridge at home with the opportunity of a rare home win in the offing. In fact chicken teeth are more common than us winning at Highbury. A good away win last Saturday so to follow up with more success really will mean Christmas has come early. The serious side is putting more distance with teams below us. Believe Cambridge have gone 693 minutes without scoring at home, you will probably score first but hoping we can come out on top 2-1

I’d take the most boring 0-0 draw ever at the moment. Yes we’re struggling to score at home, our goal against Grimsby in the cup was the first since early September. Away we did beat Wycombe a month or two back and we scored at FGR last weekend so, you know, we’re in form. ;-)

I'd be surprised if our game was on. It's been ridiculously cold here today and only slightly warmer come Saturday, but not enough to defrost the pitch. We always struggle if it's below zero.

Yeah it’s that shaded bit that’s the issue in front of the Paddock which may be the problem. Guess it will depend how solid it is, come the afternoon it will be 2c but if that’s enough we will have to see.

We've done really well to get both our games on in this past week, but the covers have done the job. Think the ground staff will be pleased there are no more home games until 30/12!

It's minus 6 tonight so even with covers there's nothing that can be done to prevent that from causing problems. I'd say 99% certainty were off on Saturday.

Not a surprise you are expecting a low crowd, the prices are putting a lot off!
