I’m guessing signing loads of mystery lower league scottish players isn’t going to plan?
I've just checked and surprisingly we only signed 5 directly from Scotland, most of the other 15 or 16 signings came from non league or L1 or L2. A good number used to play in Scotland mind.

I've seen enough to suggest what we have could stay up but we are really poorly coached and that is the main thing going against us to be honest. A few of the signings are starting to settle and compete in games but fitness wise we are so short. We could have got around 8-10 points if the basics were being worked on effectively but that's not the case at the minute. We fade badly in second halves and that is a combo of being knackered and lack of self belief.

Fully expect at least a 3-0 defeat.
At least PH has finally dragged himself into the 21st century & the players are now wearing GPS trackers in training.
I'd heard that Hartley and the analyst fell out a while ago when the data bloke suggested we're not fit enough. He's been liking tweets from fans pointing out the exact same thing. Has the penny finally dropped after wasting pre season and 20% of the fixtures so far?

Hopefully.
After 30 mins at Walsall,Murrey was stood hands on hips gasping for breath,it was laughable.

I’d heard when PH came in, he wanted rid of all the “fancy modern day tech” and said we are going to do it the old fashioned way.

Worked wonders so far as players haven’t got past 50th minute without being dead on their feet so far.

Hate playing Sutton, will get beat badly and although been saying it for a while could see it being the end of Hartley.

I like the fact that Hartlepool supporters are more confident about our chances than I am.

With our home record so far this season and Hartlepool having had a poor start, on paper this should be a routine win. But Football isn’t played on paper, and historically Pools have been tough opponents.

'And if you don't like it you can fuck off' is the rest of that conversation apparently and some players did just that.

Very few Orient supporters are. Good finisher but he makes the entire side worse by virtue of being actively shit at everything else. Proper loves himself as well.

This. Said this the other week. Will get goals but our attacking play and style improved massively after he left even if at first I thought we would miss him. He won't link play like Kelman or Drinan will and won't cover as much ground. I doubt he would have had the chemistry that they enjoy with Theo Archibald and Paul Smyth.

Fair points he doesnt offer much else other than goals but we need one like him have done for a few years.

We're 6/1 at most bookies. might even be the score.

Not sure where you have got us being historically tough opponents from, I’m pretty sure we have only beat you once and even in games we have got a point from you normally bully us all over the pitch from 1st minute till the last haha.

Unchanged team for us, meaning our two best players in Sterry and Ferguson on the bench again.

This is bad from us, really bad.

Mansfield should be about 4-0 up. We’re deep in trouble.

Winning 1-0, not convincing but they’re like a rugby team. Poor game of football so I think we should call it full time now and go home.

Absolutely moribund first half in E10. Very little in the way of goalmouth action. Walsall with a good game plan that’s nullifying us for the most part. They’ve played a couple of bits of nice stuff here and there, though. We’re strolling around like promotion is already assured.

As much as the summers recruitment was poor, a semi-competent coach would be able to get a tune out of some of these.

Shite again

Awful half at Sutton. Looks like a pre season friendly. Hoping we up the pace big time 2nd half. That said should be 1 up, hit the post when should have scored, and Wilson blazed over late on and should have done better.
