Mr Cod and chips.....You see yourself as some wanna bee Rishi Sunak. Can you tell me where Grimsby,Exeter ,Oldham and Carlisle wages are coming from as the is no income this month?
Sunak? Get to fuck, I'm more of a Bernstein/Woodward, uncovering corruption that plagues the division.

I'm not sure what the relevance of this is to you being wrong about Comley, but we reported a long time ago that we'll be making losses of around 400k this season. Considering we have one of the more sensible budgets in the division, as do the other three clubs you've mentioned here, then perhaps the question should be how much will the likes of Bolton and Salford be losing this season with their astronomical wage bills?

I’ll be completely honest, I’m not sure what our style is yet, and I think that’s one of our problems thus far. Scored a great high quality goal against Morecambe and we can ping it about, but we also like to lump it up to players that have no aerial threat either lol.

We do have a selection problem, GC decided to scrap the three at the back because of how terrible we’ve been, but our only proper LB Benning has got Covid, which resulted in a RB playing LB and a CB playing RB. I think that will give Cheltenham too many chances.

Mansfield haven’t won a competitive game since we beat Northampton away in March, the last game before the season shut down. Shocking stuff.
Hahahaha yeah, I feel your pain on that. We had about 3 seasons of that with Bignot, Slade and Jolley. So frustrating to watch.

I posted in the general thread about how mad it is that Pearce is still without a club. Surely Mansfield should be bringing him back in if you're having problems at the back?

Something went off behind the scenes, but yeah signing Pearce and chucking him in the middle of a three would instantly improve us

Rawson who came highly rated from FGR has not been very good, pretty poor actually, although the young lad we signed from Bristol Rovers is a bigger liability thus far. Our poor start boils down to shocking individual errors in both boxes, mostly from Stech and Bowery - who we laughably have a two year deal, I’m sick of managers wasting our resources on poor players.

Was it Coughlan than signed Jordon Bowery ? I remember watching him for MK Dons and he was one of the worst players i've seen in a long time. He basically was just going through the motion --- without any end product. Very poor player.

Yep, he prefers Bowery over Cook and Maynard, two of the best strikers at this level lol.

He’s signed well elsewhere, even with our poor start I’m confident we will end up better because he’s improved the midfield, Ollie Clarke is injured but he’s clearly a very good player at this level.

Well i will hold my hands up and say you was right about Comley
Now i will tell you how Bolton will get through until next may if no fans are allowed to return
Salford have one Billionaire owner who i think owns 50% of the club with the class of 92 who have the other 50% between them......So no problems them getting through the pandemic.

Bolton on the other hand have no Billionaire backers [or do they]
We have paid two charges last month against the club and also are currently paying 59k a month to the Hotel.
The charges did not have to be settled until next Aug.
We currently have circa 8.5k season tickets which brought in app £2m in season tickets. If we dont get to see any games this season i think we may be hit with 2/3k asking for refunds.
Tues you can go and watch the Bolton v Bradford game at the hotel at £25 which includes a 3 course meal
to wash it down i would suggest 8pints of Guiness
We have conference wifi facilities during the week for office workers who are working from home.
This is proving popular monday to friday with workers/guests.

Evatt has come today actually and yet again stated Bolton have spent way under the div2 salary cap
And players who underperform have nothing in there contract that stops him moving them on

This is the same man that told anyone who'd listen that we had one of the lowest budgets in the National League - the chairman said it was top 10...

Did Evatt ever play 442 3 centre backs and a Goalkeeper who passes the ball to the opposition is not going to get us promoted

It really wouldn't surprise me if Mansfield beat us on Saturday. We may be 3rd and have the most clean sheets, but we have been shite at home this season. We were ok against Morecambe and got caught looking for a winner, we were decent against Crawley, then we were shocking against Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

It appears our set up suits playing away from home, even in these times of no fans.

It could happen, but considering we’ve not won a game since March - I think us winning would be more surprising.

Yeah, we played 4-4-2 at the start of last season and lost something like 7 in 9.

We have a better squad than Bolton so hopefully that will show at the season end!
I can certainly name a 11 that would beat the 11 that started tuesday against Barrow........So you must have some squad

I'm feeling quite relaxed going into this game. I've seen enough from us in the last few weeks to be confident that unless half our squad pick up season ending injuries, we won't be in any sort of relegation trouble.

That said I have a feeling Grimsby will beat us here. Wise old manager against young inexperienced manager, Holloway will find a way to beat us.

Grimsby 2-0 Carlisle

The way he was isolated by our team selection on Tuesday didn't augur well. Hopefully Mike Jackson has learned from his mistakes and will put someone closer to him, if not go 2 up.
You said on the White review you didnt even watch the game.

We're missing 6 or 7 due to covid and injuries, Forest Green could run riot if they have a half decent side out. Collins is most certainly scoring, revenge for living on a sofa bed for 6 months whilst playing for us.

We've got 5 out, 4 due to covid, of which 4 would be pretty much guaranteed starters. Still, it's better then the 7 who missed last week, With a couple back we put out a decent looking side at Colchester in midweek even though we lost, so reckon we should be capable of putting in a good performance tomorrow. Key is scoring first, if we do we'll be hard to beat given we'll dominate possession.

Evatt - 'In spells, there aren’t any teams in the league that can play the way we do, but as well as being attractive and expansive we’ve got to be hard to beat.'

No comment :ffs:

Yea he needs to reign his comments in.....Not good enough on and off the pitch at the moment

Its ok me coming on here giving it billy big bollox.......Not acceptable for Evatt to do it when we are in our lowest position in 145 years

Do Grimsby still have that left back?

I’m wondering if Beech thinks it might be worth playing 2 defence minded players on that side as there’s no point in playing a right sided attacker.

Confidence should be booming through the squad but this is exactly the type of game we fall on our arses! Surely Bolton can’t be this shite all season!

Up to bonner n co to get us up for this.

Think he's starring for Burnley in the Prem now.

Have I really just read Bolton have players out for weeks but they’ve had them on a bootcamp for 2 weeks and will now be available?

This Evatt character sounds well out of his depth too with his piss poor media interviews.

Yes two lloyd Isgrove and shaun miller put through a two week boot camp to bring them up to match fitness
Doubt they will be involved tomorrow
Will expect to see changes though because if he puts the same 11 that started at Barrow we will get hammered
