Stockport County.
Awful game at Barrow which Barrow nicked. We've been on a good run but I've seen that away game from us 3 or 4 times this calendar year alone so not majorly out of character.

Very quiet first half but we were the better team in the second, pressing Stockport higher up the pitch, winning the ball back and fashioning a couple of chances one of which we put away. It was not by any means a good game, but really pleasing to get that home win.

If I was a Walsall fan I'd be spitting blood. Totally threw that away.

Cack for most of the game so really happy to get a point, I haven't seen either back but first penalty was soft as anything you'll see, second one looked right, should've had a third when Featherstone had his ankles clipped just as he was about to shoot.

Askey has some task on his hands to turn this around, defence is bobbins, Dan Kemp is singlehandedly propping up the midfield and depending on how long Umerah is out the current forward line don't have it in them, glad for Jennings getting a goal though, really doesn't have the required quality but he grafts and gives it his all.

Comfortable game for us. Donny were woeful and wouldn't score if they played all night.

Sounded absolutely dreadful. Back to the drawing board if we want to be serious about promotion. Maybe some tired legs out there

Both were pens mate from the TV. Clumsy from Walsall, clearly a much better side than us but their defence were all brawn and no brain, poor marking for our leveller as well. That said our defence is a contender for the worst we've ever had and the lads who've come in January are no better. We won't get anywhere near 46 points, it's all about if Crawley are shiter than us.

Kemp is too good for us, the only signing of the window who looks the part.

I watched it from my position in mainland Europe as I do for most away games. Always a good vantage point. Sadly not a good game today.

Enjoyable 2-0 win for Sutton at Newport, with goals in either half from Coby Rowe and Alistair Smith.

Had to dig deep at times as Newport created a few good chances, but we were able to weather the storm.

Our first win in Cymru since 2004, and our 3rd win on the road.

5 goals on the road, and somehow we're up to second place despite our recent jitters.

Salford manager, who ever that is now got it bang on and they were genuinely excellent, only surprising thing is they did not get another five.

What I’ve been on about recently shown today, when you have 9 players out or whatever it is, and you play Jordan Bowery in defence all it takes is decent opposition to do some homework and we are easy to beat. Balls over the top out wide, I’m sure every side with pacey players will follow suit.

Bowery in defence? What? Is that a thing that happens?

Considering the standards we’ve set this season, that was a poor second half from us and we never recovered from the two quick fire goals. Vigs bailed us out with the penalty save.

Second half we managed to equalise after Wellens made some useful subs, but we was lucky to get out with a draw after Tom James in particular got a bit too lazy - we’ve nearly conceded a goal like Grimsbys second a few times this season from over playing, but today we didn’t get away with it.

Ref second half made a few bizarre decisions against both sides.

Kind of forced into playing 532 today, Sterry back on Saturday and Hartley off injured again, I can see a back four coming, Kiernan looked good going forward but isn't a defender, Sylla back to looking good again today, Kemp really is pivotal to us, 5 goals in 6, lethal freekick on him, really could be our difference.

Really pleased to see Osadebe back, even if it was for only for five minutes or so. Like it was said above - it was comfortable for most of the game. We have a fan on one of the forums who pretty much slates Cook regardless of what happens. He "Only scores goals and does nothing else."

Gillingham will be really tough on Tuesday.

Am I behind on the rules or something because he seemed to just give the ball back to the defending side on several occasions when freekicks should have been given? Someone said shades of offside for our first, will have to see that again as that was the only decent goal in my opinion. Both of yours and our second are down to crap defending.

After a few wins recently and the points gap I thought we might get into trouble today and also predicted some complacency kicking in. Also Grimsby away is never the easiest trip for Orient. Even though we were leading at half time all things considered I am well happy with that point.

Looking at the promotion race below Stockport and Mansfield's defeats today are more significant as I believe they are both going to finish above Stevenage and at least one of them will be top 3 at the end of the season.

Lost 1-0 to Tranmere. Disappointing display in a low quality game.

First half was poor, neither keeper had anything to do, we had the ball in forward areas more than Tranmere but were totally ineffectual. Second half saw a slight improvement by both sides but neither side looked close to scoring.

When the opening goal did come it was via a penalty for Tranmere. Definitely a penalty, not sure what Horgan was playing at really. We had a penalty shout of our own almost immediately for a clip on Kane Smith, seemed a penalty to me but wasn't given. After that we huffed and puffed but were largely ineffective, Tranmere had a couple of counter attacks where they could have added to their lead but the attacks followed the pattern of the game and fizzled out into nothing.

5 without a win now, not totally surprised as we were due a blip just hope we can turn it around sooner rather than later.

Great to outplay and beat Yorkshire rivals Donny today backed by 4000 very noisy brilliant fans.

Bet Adam Clayton loved that, who has been very good for us since swapping South Yorkshire for West Yorkshire
We are absolutely shite, no attacking threat at all, as too you being noisy, only after you scored pretty quiet up until then although the acoustics in the stadium are as shite as our team

Today was the day i thought would’ve happened against tranmere, rilddled wjtj a ridiculous injury list worse than. any other league 2 side could possibly imagine it was always going to happen sooner or later.

An aging side we once and again cut apart by a fast and efficient salford side.

Given the injury list we’ve got it’s actually remarkable we’re even in the playoffs to start, the injuries we’ve had are just crazy

That’s a rarity with JA, he’s usually a 4-3-3 guy without much deviation. Sterry will thrive under him once he gets going, he loves fullbacks who will bomb forward and create overlaps. Hoping it goes well for him and Goody anyway.

Nicked a 2-0 at Newport. Jack Rose had a great game in goal and we battled it out. Centre backs were both immense. Thought on another day could have gone Newport’s way. But things are going for us at the moment. 3 of the next 4 at home, an opportunity to keep our season alive.

Just watched our highlights, both Orient goals and our second goal were all down to defensive fuck ups.
The joys of League 2.
