I was gonna add that as a caveat. We would have taken mid-table in summer but this isn't the way anyone wants to finish mid-table. There's very little positive to say about us right now, and the only positive things you can say about us as speculative (we were good once, we can... hopefully... be that good again next season).

They might have referred to 'a Cambridge player' early in the match and I think that made some of the U's fans think they don't know who any of the Cambridge players are and are just going to refer to them all that way, but they've been commenting on Cambridge plenty since then so maybe that fear has gone away.

I think some commentators in this division are very impartial as to who they want to win. Our commentators certainly make no secret of the fact that they are wanting Carlisle to win and perhaps that annoys some if they're used to impartiality.

I agree if you tuned into them you might think you'd accidentally tuned into Radio 4, though they can also be amusing at times. One of them reminds me of Kenneth Williams. Kayode and Alessandra both being long-throw specialists for us gave him plenty of opportunity for cheeky innuendo.
