Commentators saying Cambridge look happy with a point.

No chance they are happy. Dropping 2 points in your easiest away game would be a poor poor result.

Haha typical. That was always coming after we equalised.

It would have been one of the biggest footballing cock ups I’ve seen if Cambridge hadn’t got the win here.

Cambridge will be relieved as it would have a diabolical result for them.

Another draw against an out of form team, just not good enough.

Well that was a poor game between poor sides. We looked very tired and Coke and Rose constantly passing to Walsall. Loads of poor crosses and constant fouls.

Recently we’ve played the likes of Bolton, Cheltenham, FGR, Morecambe, Tranmere, and either matched them all or played better, but our lack of a goalscorer is doing us in.

I know we saved money in January, but spending a bit more on keeping Cook/Maynard or signing somebody half decent would have made a massive difference.

Don’t let the close score line make you think we are close to Cambridge. We are not. We are the worst team in the football league and unless we make some good signings in key areas we will be in huge trouble next season.

ended up buying a match pass in the end and was delighted i did.

thought we played really well and it’d have been a travesty had we lost that, it’s another “top side” i’ve seen us play who didn’t at any stage look a better side than us.

It’s something we need to continue into next season while obviously improving in general.

Well taken goal also.

Poor again... very poor.

I'm at a loss to understand how a team can put together two such contrasting runs of form in a single season... don't think I've ever seen anything like it in all my years. Yeah good teams having dreadful games and bad teams having brilliant games are both common; but the same team with the same players being the best team in the division for one half of the season and the worst for the other half defies explanation.

I can assure you that you are no the worst team in the football league. If you were, you would be 24th.

Very good win for us and we look totally different gravy now the injuries are clearing up!

3 wins in a row.

Cracking goal from Smith although the Crawley lad should clear then a huge error to gift us a third, we’ve been owed one of them after some of the gifts we hand out!

5 wins and a draw in 7 visits to Crawley!

Without our spell of wins, we'd be adrift. It'll come down to our game against Southend in the penultimate game of the season, and I won't be betting on us.

Late Cambridge goal aside that was a pretty perfect day for us. Certainly would have taken that this morning

2 points dropped and a fantastic finish by the Mansfield lad to volley that into the top corner. These are the games that will cost us a top 3 place at this rate. We were alright today but you need to be seeing those games out.

Only positive is that we’re in the top 3 for I think the first time this season. We’ve got mammoth games against Cheltenham and Cambridge in our next two and ideally need 4 points. We have got a 6 day break which is much needed at this stage of the season.

3 wins on the bounce for the Os and we looked sharp today.
Fair play to Oldham, thought they passed it around well and looked dangerous, but only had 1 shot on target that I can recall.
Don't think we've quite good enough for the playoffs, but no reason why we can't push for 7th if we keep improving from here.
Kemp looks a great signing, getting better every game, Mansfield and Walsall up next, should get 4 points from that at least.

How in God's name have we lost that

Agreed. But you did.
We were awful second half but I'll take that. Getting 3 points and playing poorly holds a peculiar type of satisfaction. I'm exhausted though - I headed every ball and hoofed every clearance. Going for a lie down.

Still grinding out those wins, massive 3 points. We didn't play well at all but will take that all day. Cheltenham will go up, they're a very good side.

Sorry Carlisle fans, my honest assessment of today is we didn't deserve the win but we'll take it of course. Very impressed by Carlisle in the second half; it was almost like one of those PSFs with 11 players playing the first 45 mins and then another 11 players coming on for the second half.

All I'll add at this point is that once Carlisle got the equaliser I fully expected them to then go on and win the match.
