Fantastic win for Grimsby. I rate Bradford too.

Have I got it wrong on David Artell I wonder? It would be a massive, massive rarity for me to have got one wrong so I do have to be cautious.
You and Wrexham taking the new league by storm up there. I always rated Kyle Wooton, but 3 from 4 in league one?! It would be amazing to see one of you two win that league over Brum.

I can see Wrexham being right up there. It would be great for us to be top half/top 10, anything else would be a massive bonus.

Wootton looks fit as a flea start of this season, he's been a really good signing for us. Given us and continues to give us plenty. Madden will give you the same when he gets back fit.

Gosh, it was Mansfield fans who used to get RATTLED with us until they went up, now it’s Chessie ones.

At least they’re geographically similar I guess.

Tell you something we don’t half owe you one this season for that P/O final. I can’t lie and I’m sure you can sense it, but I’ve developed a real bitterness towards you lot after that game, just can’t help it. Still makes me sick to the stomach whenever I think about it.

Just need one win against you this year to banish all memory of it and get back to not minding Notts County and enjoying the games against them like I always did before we met in the NL, can’t be too much to ask for.

Imagine how we’d have felt if we didn’t win after finishing about 100 points ahead of you!

Our games will be great, they always are. Shame Sky have continued the tradition of it always being on TV though so another bloody lunchtime kick-off. Maybe Scott and Dobra can go for round three of their personal scrap.

Well that was shite, we got what we deserved, nothing. Hopefully we improve, but I sense another season of up and down form and another disappointing season.

Opposition fans appear to watch one game against their club and seem to think this confers expert knowledge of the opposing side's tactics and squad for the remainder of the season.

We had our first choice keeper, first choice centre back, half our central midfielders and our two first choice strikers unavailable or unready to start today. Our sole striker was making his full debut having previously played his trade no higher than tier 7. We may well have ridden our luck, but ten points and three clean sheets so far when the cavalry are yet to be unleashed seems pretty decent to me.

Our style of play is already light years improved from recent seasons of few chances and zero goals for and if opposing fans don't like it that's not really our problem, is it? When we get a few first team players back on the pitch we can start to show a bit more quality in the final third and reduce the need to play in the less expansive fashion seen today that still managed to gain us three points and a clean sheet.

We just look like the very definition of midtable. We're relying on Cook and Pointon screamers to do anything. Shite.

Why do you rate us, Stocky?

Dunno on Artell it's hard to tell whether he's an excellent coach or a chancer , even his time at Crewe seemed to go from sublime to disaster ,i guess give it 10 games and we might know more .

Why couldn't we have a game changing post come to our rescue when we got routinely fisted by Chesterfield?

Although I did say to Chesterfield fans not to take anything from a game against Crewe...

The funny thing is, the same could have happened today would the margins been on our side. Although it's great to see you got back on track with a win Bromley in particular today.

It's slightly frustrating to be honest. It was a pretty even game but Donny look like a team that are used to each other and look like they knew their jobs. You can tell we have good players in fits and starts but it's all a bit messy and disorganised. Donny looked like they were just organised with or without the ball. Not breathtaking but just well organised.

They've also got Molyneux who is probably one of the best players in the division.

When we clicked it looked good but the defending for the goal was naive. The press was awful and we left so much space.

I'm pretty sure it will come good at some point but I'm not sure how patient some of our fans are going to remain. I'm not sure these tactics are working.

Still, only 4 games in and players returning and getting fitter. Long, long way to go yet.

Would love to hear from a Swindon fan after today's game. Just one would suffice.
Nothing much to say , should have won, played better than we have in the last three games , didn't think much of County to be honest. Bit like Chesterfield, think you are better than you are.

More chance of knitting fog than that happening mate Blues are winning it and I actually don't mind that brings those pair back down to earth a bit when they can't outspend everyone up there like they did in League 2 you didn't have to put up with them last season lording it up on here especially Stockport fans anyone that any club signed was crap according to them.

Flynny returns I hope he gets a good reception he was a good bloke who tried his best here it just didn't work out wish him every success after today obviously. As for the game I fancy us to win 2-1 depending on who Sadler picks
Bang on.

I thought it was a close game in the first half, very even. Walsall edged the chances and possession, but you'd expect that from the home team. We probably had the best chance of the half. Second half though was a disaster from our side. Flynn changed the formation and got it all wrong. Once Walsall got ahead, their tails went up and we simply couldn't contain them. The second killed the game until we got a goal against the run of play on 85 mins and then we decided to have a go. It was never going to be enough.

Not writing Flynn off after 4 league games like a lot of reactionaries are on social media, but he needs to work out his best 11, and formation that suits that 11, quickly.

You'll beat us this season too much talent in that squad not too and no Jeff King.

You should have put the game to bed by half time at Wembley. Pretty even second half and we shaded it.
We obviously dominated the penalties.

Rollercoaster of a game.

Definitely should have won. I didn't think much of County bar Bass, Platt and McGoldrick.

Based on that one game.

Considered thoughts on yesterday's game.

And favourite greek island if you've been.

Was travelling yesterday for my well earned 2 week break in Turkey so didn't see the game. From reports, we played pretty well but we were quite blunt up front and you scored 2 crackers from a classy player. C'est la vie.

I've only been to Samos, (might go again this time) so I'll have to say that!

Kilkenny had a good game I heard and Cotterill was much better in the number 8 slot? I think once all the new signings bed in we should be fine.

We raised the bar. It's called setting standards. You should be thanking us.
