Great work from Rodney to win the penalty against Santos. 3-1 Vale needed that as Bolton have looked dangerous.

Shaded that half but we’re not on it. Not good sharp enough in attack. Reminding me of Scunthorpe away, not playing badly but poor going forward and never going to score. Great opportunity for Bradford to pick up a much needed win if they can create a decent chance to score. They’ll only need 1 goal.

72% posession, but Walsall definitely had far more chances and looking the most dangerous. We need to do more with the ball if we're going to get anything from this.

The ref is letting a lot slide too.

We have been absolutely magnificent. If we play like this every week we'll win the league.

More than happy to get to half time all square. Dominating possession but Walsall with all the chances.

That was a very soft penalty for Port Vale, I eagerly anticipate Valefan criticising the ref as he always does when there is a poor decision.

Got a slight suscipion he won't do it this time

If we could see out stoppage time the way we did at the end of this half all the time we’d have fared a lot better recently. More of that please.

Overall very good half. They however will think if they get the next goal they can go on and win this so the challenge now is react to their adjustments and not just think we can keep doing the same thing.

Shut down the lad on their left better as the half went on though which is good.

3-1 and a real effort so far from our lads.

Started fast and scored, then Gilks made two great stops before Legge scored in a crazy 3 minute spell.

Bolton score with their first chance when we failed to clear a ball we’d won back and we’ve had to dig in and defend hard. On the break though caused problems, Rodney had a great chance and Gilks saved one he didn’t know about from Monty.

Great work from Rodney to win the penalty although was soft and wasn’t expecting him to give it and Conlon put it in the postage stamp.

Boltons back three look awful and we are getting in down the flanks to whip balls across the box low and hard. They look a danger going forwards through and will need to keep the effort up to get this. Does feel though we could get another goal or two with the way they are defending though.

Big half for us now.

Aye both teams could easily have 5 each and that’s not an exaggeration. It’s vital we come out firing in the first 15 minutes now. Don’t let them back in.

Next goal is huge I would think.

Should be more than 1-0, Crawley didn’t even have a shot in the first half.

Agree with Pablosammy and BITDHSS, only a point-blank save by Scottie Davies kept us level at h/t. Walsall have looked better than their current league place, thought they’d be play-off contenders at the outset. Hope we can move things forward second half, not confident though.

Good first half at Cambridge. We’ve had a goal disallowed which should have stood and conceded a soft penalty so feel pretty hard done by. Anyone’s guess how the second half goes.

Our defence is having a nightmare, Walsall look like scoring every time they attack.

5 (FIVE) -1 Vale. Worrall the scorer. These have been a shambles at the back but who cares.

OK we're in the lead now, Rhys Bennett's third headed goal of the season. Bit of a clanger from a couple of Bradford defenders but it could be enough for us. Come on just keep tight. Maybe bring Toure on for Patrick, as he Alessandra and kayode can all keep the ball out of danger
