Rob Kelly's having a few pints in the new fanzone so Calvin Andrew is taking the reigns today.

Sweeney at centre half with Hartridge. Looks like a 4-4-2.
Hope Williams and Willmott can get some crosses in.

Well today is what football is all about, One of Four outcomes for us, defeat and Morecambe and or Tranmere close the gap = despair.
We win and we are promoted but Cheltenham win and take the title = Happy "we are going up"

Or the dream Ticket we win Cheltenham lose and the Title is in our own hands

Finally status quo we alll draw and that will do fine because again we go up. Twitchy bum time guys and gals

Sure there are many other perms but you get the drift

A few changes from both teams for the Wyvern derby down at Brisbane Road. I fully expect a boring dead rubber of a game but you never know, could be an exciting game (exciting for a game with nothing riding on it) if both teams play with the pressure off.

Hard to get over our disappointment though with the way this season has gone.

Worrying lineup for us, down to the bare bones. Only 5 subs named, no CMG or Wildig and no attackers on the bench. I'm suddenly a lot less confident, could be a huge bottle job.

Main worry for Vale is no keeper on the bench so either Scott has been told he’s not getting a deal or is injured...

Cant recall the last time we had a keeper sent off or injured during a game so you just know what’s going to happen!

If we lose we'll still win the title with a win next week unless there's a wild swing in goal difference, so would still be in our hands. I stand to win £500 if Bolton win the title though so that would definitely soften the blow!

FGR v Tranmere just does not feel the same without Cooper and Mellon in charge. A month ago this fixture looked like it would have a major say in who finished in the top 3. Funny how quickly fortunes can change in football!

Might be about to get a bit better. Son of boohoo’s billionaire owner (from Bolton) and who has an investment group, property group and owns Pretty Little Thing hopefully investing... well we can live in hope that’s what it is anyway.
Can't wait to see your new kit design and colours next season...!

Think since I've been going I've seen 3 promotions, about to be 4 relegations, 2 play-off wins and 3 LDV defeats.

Can't complain. Lot of shit but the good stuff makes it worthwhile.

Exactly, would much rather become a bit of a yo-yo club really. My dad always used to say when I was younger that, bar the exception of a few clubs, we all end up in a similar place long-term. When he was a kid we'd bob about the third and fourth tiers playing against the likes of Walsall, Exeter, Port Vale etc and fast forward 30-40 years and we're still bobbing around the third and fourth tiers doing the same. No doubt it will be the same in another couple of decades, so you might as well have a bit of a rollercoaster journey in the process.

Bradford are our closest game next season with Grimsby's relegation, surely they should be desperate to keep us in the league and give us a point today

One last run in this eyesore of a green third kit for us then. Thank fuck that will no longer be a thing after this game.

Only just realised it was Bradford we played the other year in L1 to save our season, they were already relegated and had nothing to play for but beat us at a canter.

Great

It's early though and I'm sure we'll score because Orient look like they give as little of a shit about this game as us. Our bad defending aside they've actually been worse than us at retaining possession.

Chris Lumsdon just wondered how much we were charging Orient to appear in Jobi McAnuff's testimonial.

Looks like it, but behind the camera there's a marina entertainment and nightlife complex with state of the art high-rise apartments. The engineers who designed the world renowned Middlebrook Shopping Centre took inspiration from it.

Will say this for us as soon as we don’t have the ball our work rate to get it back is looking good. Credit to DC that hasn’t tailed off. This pitch at Blundell Park seems like it’s playing pretty quick, few players struggling with that at the moment.

comical defending again, looked over the line but not given... Orient players protesting but have to assume I guess the linesman is right.
