Michael Cole opens Smackdown in the ring with the Money in the Bank briefcase before introducing Dean Ambrose to the ring. He spoke about the asylum match and how he destroyed Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens soon interrupts and told Cole to get out of the ring. Owens spoke of winning the Money in the Bank, Sami Zayn was next to interrupt who also made claim to the briefcase, as did Alberto Del Rio. A brawl breaks out with Del Rio watching on the ramp.

1# Alberto Del Rio bt. Zack Ryder Via Submission in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match

Big Cass and Enzo Amore make their way to the ring, wasn't long before they were interrupted by the Dudley Boyz. Enzo had words for the dudleyz and eventually a challenge was laid out to the former tag team champions, however they backed away from a match.

2# Rusev (w/ Lana) bt. Kalisto Via Submission to retain the WWE United States Championship
(Post-match, Titus O'Neil came to the ring to save Kalisto from Rusev holding the accolade, Titus even challenged Rusev but he wanted none of it.)

3# Natalya vs. Dana Brooke ended in a No Contest
(Charlotte who was on commentary for the match interrupted as Natalya put her in the sharpshooter. Dana and Charlotte then beat down Natalya in a 2-on-1 assault.)

AJ Styles is interviewed backstage about what he has in store next, Styles walks off after saying he doesn't know.

4# Breezango bt. The Golden Truth

Seth Rollins makes his way out and spoke how it is great to be back, the fans start booing him which leads him to leave the ring.

5# The Miz (w/ Maryse) bt. Cesaro to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship

The show opens with the entire WWE roster on stage, Lillian Garcia asks the crowd to be silent as they toll the bell 10 times for the fallen heroes on Memorial Day. After the tolls of the bell, a memorial day video is played.

Shane McMahon opens Monday night Raw before Stephanie McMahon immediately makes her way to the ring. She welcomes everyone to Monday night Raw, Shane then welcomes then before speaking of the momentous news of Smackdown going live every Tuesday night starting July 19th on the USA Network. Shane mentions the shows will be better, better opportunities, better match-ups and better for everybody. Stephanie says that’s Smackdown, but we’re on Monday Night RAW. Tonight, we’ll see the return of the one and only John Cena.

The New Day came to the stage and spoke of the announcement shocking them and spoke of paranoia because of a brand extension and how they could be broken up. Stephanie dodges some questions but in reply says the rosters have yet to be decided, not has who is running the shows. They challenge Shane and Stephanie to a dance off, Shane dances but Stephanie is interrupted by the Vaudevillains who will be in action against the new day.

1# The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods) bt. The Vaudevillains Via DQ in a non-title match
(Karl Anderson and Luke Hallows attack Xavier Woods at ringside to cause the DQ. Post-match, Big E is hit with the Magic Killer.)

Renee Young spoke with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows backstage as to why they just attacked the New Day, they said it was done to show they can inflict just as much damage without AJ Styles by their side. Gallows followed by saying this is about putting New Day, the tag team division and the entire WWE roster on notice that they have arrived and are here to stay, and they they are just getting started.

Apollo Crews is working out backstage, he is seen to be asking someone if they have a problem with the new era, this person turns out to be the Big Show. They spoke of the recent attack by Sheamus to Crews, Show says that Sheamus is in panic mode but the reason he picked on him, is he thinks Crews will back down.

2# The Usos bt. Breezango
(Featuring The Golden Truth on commentary, post-match, Golden Truth laugh at Breezango for their loss. They push Goldust which led to Golden Truth laying them out at ringside with Goldust hitting Breeze with a powerslam on the floor.)

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and soon called out Seth Rollins, Rollins teases entering the ring but goes to top of the ramp and grabbed a microphone, moments later, Rollins dropped the microphone and teased coming to the ring. He goes up to the stage and once again dropped the microphone and walked off. Rollins then ran to the apron and smiled at Reigns before walking off and also saying we'll do things his way around here.

3# Rusev (w/ Lana) bt. Zack Ryder Via Submission in a non-title match
(Post-match, Rusev described Ryder as being like every other American by thinking they are entitled to everything even after they lose, Rusev then said that he is what America should be about. Titus O'Neil makes his way to the ring and told Rusev he had some nerve as today is memorial day. Both men fight before O'Neil described Rusev as a "Bulgarian blowhard". Titus punches him out of the ring as Rusev retreated.)

The Shining Stars are back talking about Puerto Rico. They talk about all the beautiful sights on the island. Epico says the WWE Universe is begging them to bring life and colors to the ring.

We see a video showcasing Charlotte telling her father off last week and kicking him out of the ring, we then hear some WWE superstars talk about their feelings about this.

Earlier today, Stephanie McMahon confronted Charlotte. Charlotte said she made an impact by kicking her father out of the ring. Stephanie says she’s embarrassed to have her as the WWE Women’s Champion. Stephanie says she’s a spoiled little brat. Charlotte says she is one to talk. Stephanie says Charlotte is not a champion – she’s a waste of talent.

4# Enzo Amore & Big Cass bt. Dudley Boyz

Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro are talking strategy backstage. Ambrose says Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho can’t be trusted and are Canadians. Zayn is a Canadian and is offended. As for Alberto Del Rio, at least he’s not Canadian. Zayn mentions he is a Canadian. Ambrose says that explains so much and walks off.

John Cena makes his anticipated return and opened with some words regarding memorial day before speak of the freedom he has lets him stand in the ring and say loud and proud that he is back on Monday Night Raw. Cena spoke how he still belongs in the WWE despite the New Era arriving since he has been gone, he says he will not go quietly in the night and the future damn sure must go through him. AJ Styles makes his way to the ring with a huge "let's go Cena/AJ Styles" chanting echoing through the fans in the arena. Styles spoke of the hard work Cena has put in and officially welcomed him back. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows came to the stage, they are hear to kick some ass as they approach the ring, Styles and Cena are ready to fight before Styles punches Cena. Cena is on the receiving end of a 3-on-1 beatdown and despite leaving the ring, Styles continues his assault on Cena.

5# Dana Brooke (w/ Charlotte) bt. Natalya
(Charlotte got on the apron for the distraction which led to Brooke hitting the Michinoku Driver on Natalya to get the 3. Post-match, Natalya is beaten down in a 2-on-1 assault before Becky Lynch runs down to make the save.)

JoJo is backstage with Dolph Ziggler and spoke of Corbin giving him a low blow at Extreme Rules to beat him. Ziggler challenged him to a technical wrestling match.

6# Baron Corbin bt. Dolph Ziggler Via DQ
(Ziggler has some amateur wrestling headgear on with a mouthpiece, however Ziggler reciprocated the low blow from Extreme Rules by giving Corbin one of his own to cause the DQ. Post-match, Ziggler said he had been disqualified, but the loser is still Baron Corbin.)

Maryse and The Miz are on a pre-recorded video on Facebook. Miz spoke of appearing in the Marine 5 - Battleground, he spoke how we will hear from him each and every week as he begins shooting tomorrow. He reminds us he is the Intercontinental Champion and he's awesome.

Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio are arguing over who will start the match until Chris Jericho stops them. Jericho says he doesn’t like either of them, which surprises Owens. Del Rio says he’s won a Money in the Bank match, so they can follow his lead. Jericho says he invented the match. Jericho says there are tensions between them, but they have to focus on tonight. They need to focus on Zayn, Cesaro, and that stupid idiot Ambrose with his stupid idiot thumbtacks.

Becky Lynch will face Charlotte this Thursday on Smackdown, also we will hear from The Club about their attack on John Cena.

The Revival open the show and spoke of their NXT Tag Team Championship match next week at Takeover. Moments later, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano interrupt, both teams go back and forth before a match is made between both teams later in the show. Revival attempt to blindside Gargano & Ciampa but to no avail as it was them who were sent packing.

Shinsuke Nakamura is backstage and sent a message to Austin Aries ahead of Takeover by saying that Aries will bow down to the king of strong style next week.

1# Tye Dillinger bt. Buddy Murphy

Corey Graves conducts an interview with Samoa Joe and Finn Balor regarding their steel cage match for the NXT Championship at Takeover.

2# Austin Aries bt. Elias Samson Via Submssion
(Post-match, Aries spoke of Takeover and said that the spotlight will shine on him.)

We see a vignette on the impending debut of Andrada Cien Almas who will debut next week at Takeover.

3# Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa bt. The Revival
(Post-match, Revival attacked Gargano and Ciampa until American Alpha run to the ring to make the save with both teams brawling ahead of next week.)

William Regal presents a contract signing between Asuka and Nia Jax ahead of their NXT Women's Championship match next week. Nia spoke how she is not scared of Asuka, with Asuka telling her that she should be. They get in to it but it ends with Nia laying out Asuka with a powerbomb.

The WWE Tag Team Champions kicked off Smackdown by speaking of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson after their attack this past Monday on Raw. Gallows and Anderson made their way to the stage with the intentions of Anderson and Gallows quickly emerging as they wanted the WWE Tag Team titles. A war of words begun before AJ Styles made his way out before he challenged Kofi Kingston to a match in tonight's main event.

1# Becky Lynch bt. Charlotte (w/ Dana Brooke) Via DQ in a non-title match
(Dana Brooke saved Charlotte as Lynch applied the "Dis-Arm-Her", this cause the DQ. post-match, Natalya made her way to the ring to unleash an assault but Charlotte and Brooke escaped through the crowd.)

2# The Dudley Boyz bt. The Golden Truth
(Breezango were sat at ringside during the match, however, Tyler Breeze snapped a selfie from the ring apron in the middle of the match, this led to R-Truth knocking him off the apron before D-Von pushed Goldust in to Truth before rolling him up to get the 3.)

Baron Corbin refused to enter the arena after what happened on Raw when he was low blowed by Ziggler, Corbin sent the message that next time he enters an arena, he will decimate the "show off".

3# Sami Zayn & Dean Ambrose bt. Alberto Del Rio & Kevin Owens
(Post-match, an irate Owens stormed to the announce table to say he was about to give a preview of money in the bank. Owens grabbed a ladder from under the ring before Cesaro ran down and knocked Owens out of the ring with an uppercut. Cesaro then proceeded to climb the ladder and grabbed the money in the bank briefcase.)

Before the next match, Rusev attacked Jack Swagger before the bell by knocking him off the ring apron and beat him down. Despite this, Swagger remained adamant about having the match.

4# Rusev (w/ Lana) bt. Jack Swagger Via Submission in a non-title match
(Post-match, Rusev refused to break the accolade before Titus O'Neil made his way to the ring as Rusev made a feline from it.)

5# AJ Styles (w/ The Club) bt. Kofi Kingston (w/ The New Day)
(A brawl broke out between Gallows, Anderson, Big E and Woods at ringside with Kingston joining the fray when he took out Gallows. When Kingston got in the ring, he was met with a pele kick followed with a Styles clash to get the 3.)

Monday Night Raw opens with Dean Ambrose making his way to the ring as Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens are all standing on ladders. All 6 men go back and forth, with comments regarding facing anyone in the ring. Jericho spoke of them being in the match with him puts them at a different level, he lets everyone drink in the "gift of Jericho", however they all get off the ladder at this point. Ambrose punches Jericho off the ladder, Owen and Zayn go at it on the floor, Cesaro attacks Jericho and also Ambrose and Del Rio brawl. Former Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long makes his way out and spoke about Smackdown going live, he said if he was running the show, he would take all of them and make a DQ match. Stephanie McMahon came out and questioned why Teddy was here, Teddy responded by saying that he wants to run Smackdown. Stephanie said they're not making that decision tonight, and when Long wanted to speak to Shane McMahon, Stephanie informed him that he was on vacation before kicking him out. Stephanie then put the six men in singles matches tonight, Sami Zayn vs. Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose and Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho, Stephanie then leaves to Teddy Long's music.

1# Cesaro bt. Chris Jericho Via Submission

WWE pays a video tribute to the late Muhammad Ali with tweets from WWE personalities also paying tribute.

We see a video from Seth Rollins talking about the feud with Roman Reigns from his point of view.

2# Rusev (w/ Lana) bt. Jack Swagger Via Count-Out in a non-title match
(Titus O'Neil was on commentary for the match, Rusev shoved Swagger in to Titus and then got in the ring as Swagger was counted out. Post-match, Rusev kicks Swagger as he gets in the ring before Titus charges in to the ring. Swagger chop blocks Rusev as Titus hit him with the big boot.)

John Cena makes his way to the ring and spoke of the once in a generation moment when he was in the ring with AJ Styles last week. He soon calls Styles to the ring to explain himself after he and the Club attacked the 15-time World Champion last week. Styles makes his way out with the club, Styles says his plan of looking Cena straight in the eyes before punching him the face worked. He spoke of how Cena insults him everytime he bell rings, before saying how Cena can not beat him.

Cena mocked Styles' insults and said that he saw Styles as a man who worked two decades, got a surprise entry in the Royal Rumble and did nothing, then he got gifted an opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on two occaisons and failed. He referred to Styles as a man who instead of shaking it off, second guessed himself, and called him a bust.

Styles spoke of being all over the world, and also how he sold out arenas in Japan. He said he has nothing to prove, and Cena has nothing to lose. Styles spoke how if you lose to Cena in this company then you will be buried, this is the reason why he has the club as they are his insurance policy to keep his head above ground. The club surround the ring as Cena is ready to fight but they bail when The New Day comes to the ring and stands tall with Cena.

3# The Vaudevillains bt. Enzo Amore & Big Cass Via DQ
(Aiden English sent Enzo in to the ropes like he did at Payback when Enzo got his concussion, Big Cass realised what he was trying to do so he viciously attacked him in the corner, when the referee tried to get him back he couldn't so called for the bell. Post-match, Gotch tried to attack Big Cass but he was also a recipient of the big boot. Cass then layed him out with the East River Crossing.)

We see more tweets from WWE personalities for the late Muhammad Ali before seeing a picture of him with Hulk Hogan.

Stephanie McMahon is backstage texting when she is interrupted by Teddy Long. Long mentioned that if he was running things, he would have Enzo & Big Cass take on The Vaudevillains, Gallows & Anderson, and The New Day in a fatal-4-way match for the WWE Tag Team titles. She gets Long to leave, and then calls marketing to book the match.

4# Alberto Del Rio bt. Sami Zayn

After we see a confrontation between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens, we see a video which showcases Roman Reigns' point of view about his feud with Seth Rollins.

5# Dean Ambrose bt. Kevin Owens
(Post-match, Ambrose grabs a ladder and begins to climb it as the money in the bank briefcase is hanging above the ring. Owens tilts the ladder over and points to the briefcase and screams that it belongs to him.)

We see another video of Darren Young and his life coach, Bob Backlund. This time, Backlund makes him walk 8 hours to the next town.

Charlotte makes her way to the ring with Dana Brooke, Charlotte apologizes for what she did to her father a few weeks ago and said that she has so much pressure on her. She referred to Flair being dead to her in professional terms, and not real life. Natalya came out with Becky Lynch, Natalya refers to what Charlotte saying as a facade. Charlotte said she expected Natalya to understand but Natalya said how she treated him was disgusting, Becky says Charlotte uses people and will use Dana like the rest of them. After Natalya and Becky tried to convince Dana that Charlotte was manipulating her, she looked confused, moments later Dana attacked Natalya. Charlotte put Natalya in a chokehold as Dana hit Becky with a Michinoku Driver.

NXT Takeover - The End is coming this Wednesday on the WWE Network.

Another video airs of the Shining Stars talking about Puerto Rico.

6# R-Truth (w/ Goldust) bt. Tyler Breeze (w/ Fandango) Via DQ
(Goldust attacked Fandango at ringside when he was trying to distract R-Truth, Fandango rolled in to the ring and R-Truth fell over him to cause the DQ. Post-match, Teddy Long came to the stage and said this is why he should be running the live Smackdown, he then said this match with restart as a tag team match. Security came out escorted him, Long left with a #TeddyLongRunningSmackdownLive)

Teddy Long is confronted by Stephanie McMahon backstage and she says that the fun and games are over, Smackdown is going live on July 19th, but they won't have some old incompetent man running the show. She then spoke of herself running Smackdown.

Next week on Monday Night Raw, we will see the Ambrose Asylum with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as special guests.

7# The Club bt. The New Day in a Six man tag team match
(Post-match, the Club continues to attack the New Day until John Cena made the save. Cena took out Anderson and Gallows but Styles left the ring in a hurry. Cena attacked Gallows and Anderson once again when they got on the apron which led to Styles attacking Cena with a forearm. Styles continued to punch away at Cena, Kingston took him out with a springboard dropkick. Anderson ran in and Big E hit the big Ending, Cena then hit Gallows with the AA as the Club retreated as Cena stood tall with the New Day.)

AJ Styles and the Club open Smackdown, they spoke of how people are comparing Money in the Bank to Wrestlemania, not just for the club contending for the WWE Tag Team titles, but the dream match is on between himself and John Cena. They spoke how with the brand extension then this maybe the first and last time you see the matchups, Styles went on to what he said about Cena on Raw and spoke of how the era of Cena has lasted over a decade, and it's time for a change. He spokes of the Club being a package deal and Money in the Bank will be no different then anywhere else they have dominated, he will prove to Cena he can't beat him, and Gallows and Anderson will dominate the New Day to become the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass make their way out, they spoke how they are also in the match for the WWE Tag Team titles at Money in the Bank. Big Cass and Enzo had words for the club, Gallows insulted Enzo and referred to his concussion before getting ready for a tag team match.

1# Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. The Club ended in a No Contest
(Featuring The New Day on commentary for the match. The Vaudevillains come to the stage during the match, and decided to make their way down later on which led to a confrontation from the New Day. It broke down in to chaos as all 4 teams brawled cause the referee to throw the match out. Post-match, New Day removed Gallows and Anderson from the ring, as Enzo and Big Cass removed the Vaudevillains from the ring.)

Renee Young is backstage with Rusev and Lana, they go on to speak about money in the bank before Titus interrupted, Titus told Rusev that the WWE United States title is coming home to him.

Monday Night Raw opens with a screen that says "We stand with Orlando" as the WWE pays tribute to the victims and families following the shooting in Orlando this past weekend. The WWE roster is on stage.

The WWE Tag Team Champions open the show and spoke of defending their WWE Tag Team titles this Sunday in a fatal-4-way match. Woods and Big E make fun of Kofi's shoes before Enzo & Big Cass interrupt and spoke of walking out with the titles this Sunday, The Vaudevillains and The Club make the same claim before we kick off with some 8-man tag team action.

1# The Club & The Vaudevillains bt. The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods), Enzo Amore & Big Cass in an 8-Man tag team match

We see a video package looking back at the history of the Shield from when they made their debut at the 2012 Survivor Series. This is in light of Reigns and Rollins being guests on the Ambrose Asylum tonight.

We see another video of Bob Backlund and Darren Young.

Shane McMahon walks up to Stephanie backstage and spoke of Shane not being on Raw last week, Shane offers to run Raw and Stephanie can take Smackdown. Stephanie says no, so Shane says he will run Smackdown and she can run Raw. Stephanie wants to run both shows. Kane walks in and offers his services to run Smackdown when it goes live on July 19th. Kane offers his resume and says he has some ideas on how to make Smackdown red hot.

Zack Ryder is speaking backstage when Sheamus verbally runs down Apollo Crews, Ryder tricks Sheamus in to believing Crews is behind him.

We see another video of the Shield when they attacked Evolution.

Titus O'Neil made his way out for a match but Rusev attacked him and applied the accolade on the stage. WWE officials tried to get Rusev off as Titus passes out, Rusev then taunts him with the United States title.

We see another video of the shield when Seth Rollins turned on both Reigns and Rollins.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring for another edition of the Ambrose Asylum. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are his guests and he brings them both to the ring. Ambrose has some fun with Rollins after speaking of his injury, Ambrose brought up some memories of when they were in the shield. Both Rollins and Reigns pointed out points when they won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and Rollins spoke how Reigns has never beaten him. Ambrose brought up J&J Security, Corporate Kane and the Authority but this Sunday, he will be alone. Ambrose hyped the match between Rollins and Reigns this Sunday, Ambrose then threw a curve ball by saying what if he wins the money in the bank contract, and cashes it in the same night to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins shoves Ambrose in to Reigns, Ambrose then attacks Rollins with Reigns pushing Ambrose aside to hit the superman punch on Rollins. Ambrose then hit Reigns with the dirty deeds.

Dean Ambrose is walking around backstage when Stephanie McMahon approaches him and tells him he will be facing Chris Jericho tonight.

2# Paige bt. Charlotte (w/ Dana Brooke) in a non-title match
(Natalya and Becky Lynch were on commentary for the match.)

Renee Young is with Cesaro backstage about his match with Sami Zayn tonight. Zayn comes up and joined the interview as she has questions about him, Cesaro called him unprofessional and says that he is acting like a child. Zayn took offence to how Cesaro was speaking to him, Cesaro ended by telling Zayn he has a lot to prove.

Charlotte was backstage speaking with Dana Brooke and said how she cost her the match tonight, she said there is no room for failure at the top.

3# Sheamus bt. Zack Ryder
(Post-match, Sheamus continued the attack on Ryder before Apollo Crews came out and tackled Sheamus. Both men fought until Sheamus made a feline through the crowd. Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews will take place on the Money in the Bank kickoff this Sunday.)

We go back to 2010 when Kane won the money in the bank briefcase and cashed it in on the same night on Rey Mysterio and become the World Heavyweight Champion.

We see Kane talking with Shane McMahon backstage, Owens interrupts and wants to speak to Stephanie. Owens spoke how the thought Del Rio should be removed from the match this sunday, Del Rio blames Owens for what he was kept at the airport for 5 hours by airport security. Kane has a suggestion they need a team building exercise and that it should be the Lucha Dragons vs. Del Rio and Owens, if Lucha Dragons win they then will replace Del Rio and Owens at Money in the Bank. Shane liked the idea and booked the match for tonight.

4# Sami Zayn bt. Cesaro

Michael Cole is in the ring and presented the contract signing between AJ Styles and John Cena ahead of their match this Sunday. Cena hyped the match and spoke of the history of both himself and Styles, Cena mentioned that he talked to Shane McMahon and we will do the contract signing differently tonight, Cena told Cole to leave the ring.

AJ Styles made his way out, he spoke how he will run rings around Cena and spoke how he has turned Cena's world upside down the last couple of weeks. Cena presents Styles with two contracts - one which 15 years of "what if" will be answered, and the other will allow styles to fight cena and probably win because the club will be at ringside, but he will be the captain of the bitch club. Styles spoke how cena would never have won 15 world titles if he was here 15 years ago, he would have all those accolades instead. After being insulted further by Cena, Styles signs the contract for a one on one match this Sunday. Styles left the ring by telling Cena that he will get the message after money in the bank that his time is up, and Styles' time is now.

5# Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio bt. Lucha Dragons
(Post-match, Del Rio kicks Owens in the head.)

We see The Miz on the set of The Marine 5 - Battleground, and he is abusing a stagehand.

Kevin Owens is backstage talking with Stephanie McMahon, Owens says tonight has been nothing but crap but thankfully he is still in the money in the bank ladder match. Owens mentions how Sami Zayn is going to be on commentary for Jericho vs. Ambrose, Stephanie questioned who approved that and Owens says it was Shane McMahon. Owens suggested that he be on commentary, Del Rio then walks up and says he wants to be on commentary. Stephanie told him there was enough commentators but he can be the guest timekeeper.

Shane and Stephanie are arguing backstage about putting guest commentators out there, Shane then continued to one up Stephanie by making Cesaro as the guest ring announcer. Shane questioned whether she invited Kane to the show, she said he would be the worst choice to run smackdown. Corporate Kane soon came over, Shane said that they needed someone with more stability. Shane said Kane didnt have what it took to run smackdown but neither does stephanie.

This Thursday night on smackdown, we will see six man tag team action as Dean Ambrose teams with Cesaro and Sami Zayn to take on the team of Chris Jericho, Alberto Del Rio and Sami Zayn.

6# Dean Ambrose bt. Chris Jericho
(Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are on commentary, Alberto Del Rio is the guest timekeeper, Cesaro is the guest ring announcer. Post-match, Owens runs in to the ring and attacks Ambrose from behind. Zayn runs in and punches Owens down before Del Rio hit Zayn with the backstabber. Cesaro hits Del Rio with a springboard uppercut before sending him in to the barricade and punchs him. Owens grabs a ladder but Ambrose dropkicked it in to him. Ambrose, Cesaro, Jericho and Del Rio continue to brawl outside of the ring when Zayn took them out with a summersault senton off the top rope to the floor. Jericho sets a ladder in the middle of the ring before climbing it and grabbing the money in the bank briefcase to end the show.)

Jericho spoke about winning the money in the bank ladder match this sunday before bringing Dean Ambrose to the ring. Ambrose comes to the ring with a coffee in his hand, Jericho raises the Jeritron up and mentioned he hadn't forgotten what Ambrose did to him, referring to destroying his $15,000 jacket and throwing him in thumb tacks at Extreme Rules. Kevin Owens interrupts and makes claim to the contract, Alberto Del Rio interrupted followed by Cesaro and Sami Zayn. Zayn spoke of the six man tag team main event tonight, Jericho calls them all "Stupid idiots", to which two get in the ring to stand off with them. Ambrose pours coffee on the carpet leading to a brawl between all six men.

Renee Young is backstage with Becky Lynch and Natalya, they speak of the tag team match against Charlotte and Dana Brooke this Sunday. Charlotte and Dana Brooke interrupt, Dana reaffirms her partnership with Charlotte after an attempt by Charlotte and becky this past Monday on Raw to make her see the light. They soon walk away as Charlotte needs to get ready to beat Natalya tonight.

Rusev comes to the ring for a match with Kalisto, however Kalisto got caught by Rusev when he was coming on the top rope. Sin Cara attempted to make the save but to no avail as both get a taste of the accolade submission hold. Titus O'Neil makes his way to the ring as Rusev leaves, moments later, Titus threw Rusev in to the barricade but Rusev soon made a feline up the ramp.

Renee Young is with The Club backstage, Renee spoke of the match between John Cena and AJ Styles this Sunday. Styles spoke how Cena tried to call him out by having two contracts but this sunday he will prove he is phenomenal. The New Day soon interrupt, they all make jokes about AJ Styles before Styles challenges Xavier Woods to a match tonight. Kofi rejects it but Xavier accepts.

The New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose opens Monday Night Raw, Ambrose spoke of everything that happened last night. He then referred to Seth Rollins as being the right guy, in the right place at the wrong time and spoke of the lesson of the week being, what goes around, comes around. Ambrose also spoke of another lesson - hard work pays off. Busting your ass and keeping your nose to the grindstone pays off and when it pays off, it pays off big.

Roman Reigns made his way to the ring and congratulates Ambrose, he brought up how good it must of felt to cash in on Rollins but Ambrose made it clear he would of also cashed in on him also. Reigns speaks of his rematch before Seth Rollins makes his way out and bemoans Reigns getting a title match, Rollins said Reigns should go back of the line and Ambrose stole the title from him. Reigns then said there is an easy way to settle this before dropping the mic and getting in Rollins face, Rollins claims there is nothing to settle as he beat him last night and wants a rematch.

Shane McMahon makes his way out and congratulates Ambrose, Shane then suggested that Reigns and Rollins should have a match to see who should face Ambrose. Rollins queried whether Shane had consulted Stephanie, but Stephanie isn't at the arena so Shane pretends to be Stephanie before announcing that he is running the show tonight. Shane then makes the match between both Reigns and Rollins tonight.

1# Sami Zayn bt. Kevin Owens
(Post-match, Owens hits Zayn with the running boot before setting up to powerbomb Zayn off the stage, Zayn fought back and punched away at Owens before referees ran out to separate both men. Even after the commercial, both men were fighting backstage, eventually they get pulled apart.)

John Laurinaitis made his way out and reminded everyone of who he is and when he was the General Manager of both Raw and Smackdown. Shane McMahon makes his way out to question why Laurinaitis is out here, and he says he is throwing his name in the hat to run Smackdown. Shane said that we won't have a corporate "yes man" running the show, it will be someone from the new era representing change. Laurinaitis then suggested Shane to run Smackdown, and he to run Raw, Shane then sent him on his way but not before Laurinaitis got a "people power" in to the microphone before leaving.

2# Enzo Amore & Big Cass bt. The Vaudevillains

AJ Styles made his way to the ring and spoke how he beat John Cena last night at Money in the Bank, but said it didn't go down the way he thought it would. He brought fellow Club members, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to the ring to make a public apology. Both Anderson and Gallows apologised before Styles asked Cena to come to the ring and accept the apology.

John Cena came down and said he doesn't need an apology, and claimed Styles broke the contract. Gallows and Anderson halfheartedly put the blame on themselves and not Styles. Cena claimed that Styles is using this apology to cover up the fact he is not as good as he says he is. Cena respects the win but says that winning night in and night out is what a champion is made of, right up there with being champion is living up to your word. He says as a champion, he knows you have your balls and your word and claims that Styles has neither. Styles is furious and said that the club did him a favour and gave him an excuse, Styles said he will do Cena a favour and let him fight any member of the club right now. Cena instantly chose Styles but Styles backtracked and said anyone but himself. After conferring, they decide it will be Karl Anderson who will face John Cena one-on-one.

(Cena had the match won but the Club attacked him before he got the 3 count to cause the DQ. Post-match, all 3 members of the club beat down Cena and connect with the magic Killer before Styles hit the Styles Clash.)

After JoJo spoke to a prime and ready Seth Rollins ahead of tonight's match and him regaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Renee Young interviewed Becky Lynch. They spoke about Natalya attacking her last night, Lynch claimed she didn't know why she attacked her before Natalya attacked her from behind and sent her in to a crate. Natalya then told Becky that she is going to take care of herself.

4# Baron Corbin bt. Zack Ryder
5# Charlotte (w/ Dana Brooke) bt. Paige to retain the WWE Women's Championship
(Paige had Charlotte beat after hitting the Ram-Paige, Dana Brooke then put Charlotte's foot on the rope to stop the count. Paige pushed her off the apron which led to Charlotte kicking Paige in the back of the head and hitting the Natural Selection for the 3. Post-match, Sasha Banks came down and took out Dana as she charged on the ramp. Sasha hit Charlotte with half a bank statement but Dana attacked her. Paige made the save before Sasha held up the women's championship belt.)

The Wyatt Family make their return and made reference to the Wyatt Family being as strong as they have ever been. The New Day interrupt, and claimed what they needed was the power of positivity. Bray Wyatt told them that he hoped they knew what they have done by interrupting his return, he told them he can see what lies in their future and knows that in the future, "New Day falls".

It was set to be Rusev vs. Titus O'Neil but both men brawled in the ring and the outside before Rusev escaped through the crowd.

We see a video from the WWE Intercontinental Champion who is on the set of The Marine 5.

6# Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns ended via count-out in a match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
(Dean Ambrose was on commentary for the match. Both men brawl on the outside before Reigns spears Rollins over the Spanish announce table which led to the referee counting both men out.)

Shane McMahon made his way out and announced that at WWE Battleground, it will be Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Ambrose taunted both men before Reigns grabbed him but Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds before picking up the title and walking off. Rollins went to grab Reigns but Ambrose ran back in to the ring and hit him with the dirty deeds before standing on the announce table and holding the title high.

(Post-match, Jose starts dancing until Austin Aries makes his way to the ring. Aries spoke about learning something from Jose and said that NXT is also about having fun. Aries goes to leave but Jose asks him to dance with him. Aries and Jose dance around Full Sail University until Aries hit Jose with a discuss forearm, he continues with the attack and applied the Last Chancery.)

NXT General Manager is with Shinsuke Nakamura to discuss the challenge that was made last week to Finn Balor. Regal said that he will make the match happen and it will take place in 3 weeks time. Buddy Murphy soon interrupts proceedings and wants a singles match and to be treated as the top star he truly is. Nakamura told him that the king of strong style will honour his request.

3# Bayley bt. Deonna Purrazzo

Andrea D'Marco is backstage with Carmella after he win last week. Carmella spoke how she wanted to become the fact of the Women's division and to be the next NXT Women's Champion. Alexa Bliss interrupted and told her she is nothing with Enzo and Cass. Carmella called Blake & Murphy pathetic in comparison, Bliss said it was her who was the star in that team and Carmella was only an accessory. Bliss spoke how it is her who deserves to be the Women's Champion as she never got pinned in the triple threat #1 contenders match a few weeks ago. Carmella challenged Bliss to do something about it if she has a problem.

Rollins was fired up and challenged anyone in the locker room to a match, Sami Zayn answered the challenge. The WWE Champion Dean Ambrose made his way to the ring with an impromptu "championship edition" of the Ambrose Asylum. Rollins was irate at this and refused to take part, then left the ring.

The Usos confronted The Club backstage and questioned whether AJ Styles could win a match without the help of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Styles then challenged Jimmy Uso to a match tonight to prove him wrong.

(Charlotte got on the ring apron which led to the irish lass kicker knocking her off but this distracted her leading to a roll-up by Dana to get the 3. Post-match, Charlotte and Dana Brooke beatdown on Becky before Sasha Banks made the save, Sasha sent the WWE Women's Champion flying from the ring before hitting the banks statement on Dana.)

Seth Rollins opens Monday Night Raw and begins talking about the triple threat match for the WWE Championship at Battleground, almost immediately though, the architect addresses Roman Reigns and spoke of him violating the wellness policy and getting suspended for 30 days. Rollins claim that Reigns had embarrassed him, he then spoke of Reigns' tweet which was: "I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating the WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it". Rollins criticised the tweet, and spoke how Reigns doesn't deserve to be in the triple threat match at Battleground and the right thing to do would be to remove him from the match, and make it a one-on-one match, which he claims he is rightfully owed.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring, he spoke how Reigns made a mistake and said that in his mind, the triple threat match is still on. AJ Styles makes his way out, he says that there should be a triple threat match at Battleground but he should be in it instead of Reigns, and he justifies this as he beat John Cena. Styles then vows for a fatal-4-way before Cena made his way out, Cena made the reference to the fact it is 14 years ago today he had his first WWE match, and the last time he faced Ambrose with the title on the line, he won, therefore, at battleground it should be a fatal 5-way.

Stephanie McMahon made her way out and spoke what happened to Roman Reigns is an embarrassment. She then says she is mortified that Ambrose is the WWE Champion, she makes reference to how Shane McMahon is not here tonight. She made Seth Rollins vs. John Cena, and AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose tonight, if both win their matches, they will be added to the WWE Championship match at Battleground.

2# Titus O'Neil bt. Rusev (w/ Lana) Via count-out in a non-title match
(Both Rusev and Titus double clotheslined each other on the floor, as they got up, Titus sent Rusev in to the timekeeper's area causing Rusev to be counted out.)

Stephanie McMahon is backstage where she was interrupted by Corporate Kane, he spoke about running Smackdown Live and how Shane can't get over the past, Stephanie quickly cuts him off by saying that she will be running Smackdown live. The Miz and Maryse walk in and bemoan how there is no press for his comeback, Kane spoke how if he was running Smackdown, he would have a huge problem that the Intercontinental Champion has been gone for a month. He mentions how the rules state that one has to vacate a title if it is not defended for thirty days so he would book an Intercontinental title match. Stephanie likes the idea and tells Miz he will be defending tonight and his opponent will be a mystery.

3# Seth Rollins bt. John Cena
(AJ Styles and the Club make their way to the ring, Styles gets on the apron but Cena swats him away. Rollins then hits the pedigree and gets the 3. Due to pre-match stipulations, John Cena will not be added to the WWE Championship match at Battleground.)

4# Enzo Amore & Big Cass bt. Carlos Cocci and Mitch Rolde
(Post-match, Big Cass goes to do the "S-A-W-F-T" line but they were interrupted by the Social Outcasts. Social outcasts refer to themselves as being H-A-R-D and then argue about who is the hardest, Bo Dallas says they will get in the ring and show them how hard they are. Slater gets on the apron but Big Cass big boots him off, Axel and Dallas get on the apron but soon flea the ringside area. Big Cass then calls the social outcasts "S-A-W-F-T".)

We see another segment with Bob Backlund and Darren Young.

A video airs showcasing the WWE Superstars working out with some Special Olympians. Back in to the arena, Renee Young and the Big Show are on the stage and put over WWE's partnership with the organisation.

Becky Lynch was set to face Summer Rae, however before the match begins, Becky attacks Natalya who was on commentary, despite referee's attempting to split up both women, Becky wipes her out.

Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring for another edition of the Highlight Reel. Jericho brings down his guests for the evening - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Jericho tries to stir the pot with both men, but neither were reciprocating. Zayn spoke how this rivalry has become an obsession and it is costing their careers. Zayn claimed the reason Owens didn't win the Royal Rumble, at Wrestlemania or Money in the Bank was because of him and they need to end this on July 19th at Battleground. Owens again claimed that the reason he stabbed Zayn in the back was a business move, he spoke of Zayn being a bad friend and said he has got the match at Battleground. Jericho spoke about Zayn being bad friend and how the match is now bigger as it was announced on his show, Jericho gave everyone the "gift of Jericho". Zayn and Owens give him a superkick before Owens leaves the ring.

5# Kane bt. The Miz (w/ Maryse) Via count-out in a WWE Intercontinental Championship match
(Maryse claimed she has hurt her ankle, Miz left the match to carry her to the match to cause the match to end by count-out. After the commercial, Maryse showed it was all a rouse by dancing around and says she was acting, Miz loved it and kissed her.)

6# Apollo Crews & Cesaro bt. Sheamus & Alberto Del Rio

This Thursday Night on Smackdown, Dean Ambrose will appear on Miz TV.

The New Day make their way to the ring but mock the Wyatt Family's "we're here" video. They come to the ring also dressed as the Wyatt Family, they make fun of the Wyatt Family before Woods said that they should wrap it up. The Wyatt Family make their way to the stage and spoke how it is a cruel world filled with dangerous people, his rationale behind this is that his purpose is to tell them what they need to hear. Kingston claimed the "power of positivity" is a way of life. Woods looks visibly shaken once again, Wyatt says they are just playing games but in this game, there are no winners or losers, just malice and destruction. Wyatt leaves by saying every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess, "new day falls".

7# Dean Ambrose bt. AJ Styles in a non-title match
(The Club make their way to the ring and Ambrose is ready to fight, Styles gets a near fall, moments later, John Cena comes to the ring and takes out both Gallows and Anderson. Ambrose rolls up Styles and hits the dirty deeds to get the 3. Due to pre-match stipulations; AJ Styles will not be added to the WWE Championship match at Battleground. Post-match, The Club take out John Cena whilst Rollins gets in the ring and hits Ambrose with a pedigree. The Club and AJ Styles' assault on Cena continues despite attempts from Cena for a fight back, Gallows and Anderson then hit the magic killer on the stage to Cena. Rollins gives Ambrose another pedigree in the ring and holds up the WWE Championship belt.)

We see comments from Shinsuke Nakamura from earlier today, he spoke about how he met Finn Balor in Japan and how they got long. He spoke about why he came to NXT and spoke about their upcoming match.

Cathy Kelly is interviewing Bayley about returning to the ring last week and how Bayley is ready for her NXT Women's Championship rematch. Alexa Bliss interrupts and says that she deserves it as she never got pinned in the triple threat and just beat Carmella. She says that Bayley will have to through her to get to Asuka.

2# Andrade "Cien" Almas bt. Noah Potjes

Backstage, it’s Andrea D’Marco with Austin Aries, asking about his post-match attack on No Way Jose. Aries says he’s one of the greatest sports-entertainers in the world. nXt fans should feel privileged to watch him but they don’t. No Way Jose hasn’t accomplished anything but he shakes his hips and the fans chant his name. Aries doesn’t like that and he will give them something else not to like. From here on out, it’s on the fans for what he does in the ring.

We go back to earlier today, Finn Balor shares when he bet Nakamura and how he was under his wing in Japan. He spoke how he is a true friend and like family to him, he spoke how the match feels special.

Next week on NXT, we will see Alex Bliss vs. Bayley.

3# Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano bt. Hype Bros

Gargano reminds everyone how they have beaten The Revival and that puts them in line for an NXT Tag Team Championship match. American Alpha make their way out and want their rematch, they also vowed to get revenge against the Authors of Pain. The Revival make their way out before Wiilliam Regal makes his way to the stage, he makes The Revival vs. American Alpha next week on NXT for the NXT Tag Team Championship in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The Authors of Pain then attack American Alpha, Gargano & Ciampa attempt to interfere but they got tossed out of the ring. Gable and Jordan attempt ti fight back but they are beaten down with Paul Ellering appearing on the stage and beckons Authors of Pain towards him.

1# Cesaro bt. Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Apollo Crews in a Fatal 4-Way to become the #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship
(Post-match, Del Rio attacks Cesaro and hits the double stomp to Cesaro from the ring apron to the floor. Rusev then makes his way to the ring and challenges Cesaro to the match right now. After the commercial, Cesaro begins to walk away until Rusev calls him a coward, Cesaro gets in the ring for the match.)

2# Rusev bt. Cesaro Via Submission to retain the WWE United States Championship

Rusev and Lana are walking backstage after the commercial when Renee Young catches up with them and brings up the fact that it will be the 4th of July this monday night. Rusev says they should call it Rusev day and says he and Lana will be spending it on an island far away. Renee then informs Rusev that he will defend the WWE United States Championship this monday night on Raw against Titus O'Neil.

3# Dana Brooke bt. Billie Kay

Sasha Banks is watching the match backstage, Renee Young asks her thoughts on what just happened. Sasha reminded us how she made Dana tap this past Monday on Raw and is not afraid to step up to Charlotte for her shot at the WWE Women's Championship. Summer Rae walks in and says that Sasha is all flash and no funk, she then refers to the draft and how she hopes they are drafted to separate brands. Sasha told Summer that she will be happy to show her tonight what happens when you diss the Boss.

The Miz and Maryse are in the ring and welcome everyone to another edition of MIZ TV, Miz then introduces his guest Dean Ambrose to the ring, after teasing that this may be the last edition of MIZ TV on Smackdown, or it could become the signature show of Smackdown after the draft. Ambrose comes to the ring with a Cuban sandwich. Miz spent most of Miz TV mocking the Ambrose Asylum and his jeans. Miz looks like he is ready to fight, Ambrose uses his Miz's white jacket to wipe his fingers on. Miz throws the jacket in Ambrose's face and kicks Ambrose down. Miz and Maryse leave the ring is disgust.

4# Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan (w/ Bray Wyatt) bt. Aaron Hale & Mike Duwatti
(Post-match, Bray Wyatt grabs a microphone before New Day interrupt proceedings. New Day continue to mock the Wyatt Family, Bray questions why Woods isn't laughing. Wyatt tells them that all there is left to do is pray...and run.)
