Bradford may even top our home average next year.
What are the prices of the Sheffield United STs this year blade man?
Bradford may even top our home average next year.
Well no because it isn't very sustainable and relies on cup progression to the latter rounds every season which isn't going to happen every season. There's a reason why your best player has moved to Ross County...
Then why do you keep on ranting like a demented banshee
....but yet our playing budget is £800k higher this season.Well no because it isn't very sustainable and relies on cup progression to the latter rounds every season which isn't going to happen every season. There's a reason why your best player has moved to Ross County...
It's always the same poster who's the quickest to bite!
If Coventry announced that their ST's were £149, they'd come nowhere near selling circa 16,000.
....but yet our playing budget is £800k higher this season.
Work that one out, because I can't.
Bitter? Bradford have never achieved anything in their history unless you count getting demolished 5-0 in the reserve cup final as an achievement and have always been a lower league club with 5-7,000 home fans so I'm not sure how you can be bitter against a club which has never done anything to annoy me.
What are the prices of the Sheffield United STs this year blade man?
How would you know that? I did not know you worked as chairman at both Cov and Bradford mate.
You are correct no we wouldn't. However there is a buzz around your club and there isn't around ours sadly. Why have you not responded to my post which compares Cov and Bradford over time?
...and yet our all-time average attendance is just over 12,000. Not great, granted - but c'mon, get it right.
You're becoming repeatedly boring.
What on earth are you babbling on about now?
Our playing budget was £2.6m last season, and we profited £800k last season - of which has been stated by the powers that be that this money will be added to this season's playing budget.
Which one, I've been at work most of the day -
I await your prompt response.
How would you know our budget for this season? Do you have contacts which we don't know about?
Renewal was £329 on kop and £419 on all other stands. However i do really agree with bradfords pricing we all say footballs too expensive so fair play to them. But in a city there size they should also sell 15k season tickets with ease at £150 which they have done. I fancy bradford to be challenging for top spot this year.
You're completely missing the point, but I'm becoming accustomed to that.
Where did I mention that I knew anything about Coventry's finances?
I will copy and paste my post
And you also had 7k at this level for 04-07. Did you not have £150 season tickets then? 2 can play your game mate and let me tell you the figures are a lot more embarassing for you than us! You even went as low as 2 and 3k in the 80s.
actually I was bored so I decided to have a look at the stats. Bradford have only averaged more than Cov ONCE in their entire history and that was the season just gone. You could count the Sixfields season but even Stevenage were better supported that season so it's a bit of a sham. So, before you call Covs support shit you may want to take a look at the stats mate. If our support is shit then what is Bradfords? You just don't compare to us mate and the only way you have catched us is by our 15 year of decline and your progression recently as well as cheap season tickets. So don't act as if your support has been good for ages you've always been a 5k-7k club in the lower divisions as far as I can remember. Well done for extending your fan base but come off it mate, a few seasons of decent support doesn't mean you can call other clubs support shit when they've always had way more fans than you. As they say don't forget where you come from.
Then why do you keep on ranting like a demented banshee
He supports Coventry, let him have a dig bless him.
I've no idea what most of that posts means it's just a whole load of dates and numbers to me with not much relevance.Whoah whoah whoah, you need to slow down fella. You've read me all wrong. You're essentially making out that I believe that Bradford are bigger than Coventy. At no point have I said this, and at no point will I ever believe it. My point being was that even though we dropped a lot lower than you, we still had relatively decent crowds, even in L2. Even though you believe that your club can't get any lower (even though it can), your crowds are pants - and that's purely based on the fact that your ST's are currently £250 - ours were £200 in L2, and we still sold over 10,000 6 seasons in a row. The last time we graced L1, we sold just under 6,000 at £350...this was having being relegated from the prem only 5 seasons prior to this...now, if we can sell that many at £100 more than what you currently can, how comes you're struggling to hit 5,000 given CCFC attendances have have historically been a lot bigger than ours?...as you're only in the same position as we were in 2006/2007 when we were relegated from L1 averaging 8,500?
I've no idea what most of that posts means it's just a whole load of dates and numbers to me with not much relevance.
He supports Coventry, let him have a dig bless him.
It'll sink in....eventually!
Which roughly translates into... I have no comeback when presented with factual information...
And it'll sink in soon you're biggest ever moment was losing 5-0 in the reserve cup final.
OMG...REALLY?
Honestly mate, have you heard yourself?
Every City fan fully expected to lose heavily vs Swansea - however, the memories we have will be cherished for years to come. We'll remember beating a Watford, Wigan, a strong Arsenal and Villa over two legs...who really cares what happened in the final....really.
So you beat 3 Premier League teams but expected to lose heavily to Swansea when your team should have been more up for it than the other games? You don't care what happened in the final? Guessing you wouldn't have celebrated if you fluked it then, give it up, of course you wanted to win it and were bothered that you lost it.
It's a cup final, of course I wanted us to win. Unfortunately, you're still missing the point, though.
It amazes me how you mock our Capital Cup exploits, and yet you actually managed to sell out for a JPT area final, only for you to go on and lose to Crewe fucking Alexandra LOL
Yes which shows Cov have massive support if they get it right on the pitch for once. No other club in this league and probably not many in the Championship would sell out for the JPT area final, we have been starved of success we were treating the JPT as the Champions league final. Many of our previously sacked managers have said that once someone gets it right at Cov again they'll go down in history and be given the freedom of the city.
Micky Adams:
'I phoned Aidy Boothroyd when he got the job, marked his card on a couple of issues and said: "If you get it right, you'll go down in history. They have had nothing to shout about."'
I will tell you something for sure when Tony Mowbray or someone else gets it right at CCFC again we will never be mentioned in the same sentence as Bradford City again for a long time
I am not mocking your 'exploits' in the reserve cup I am just amused that you are not arsed about not winning it when you obviously were/are.
