I watched the trailer, and strangely found it less exciting than the other ones. I've always found trailers more enjoyable when they leave more to the imagination, there is nothing worse than watching a film then realising all the best bits were shown in the three minute trailer you saw two months before. I think this one perhaps gave a little too much away.
In what sense? What have you now seen that you would have liked not to see, if that makes sense?

Fair point. Maybe that's why they haven't shown Mark Hamill yet, because he looks like a shrivelled scrotum.

Going to watch with my brother-in-law on an IMAX for Xmas Eve. Let the women be in the kitchen prepping the food for Xmas Day whilst we dress up in hoodies as Sith and watch Star Wars! :D

Stop with the spoilers if these are genuine!!

Let's just see the film first, this is not like those silly Marvel films that come out once a month, this is Star Wars, a genuinely meaningful franchise!! :mowbray:

I envy you for not seeing the trailers and the tv spots.

Aye been avoiding them like the plague, only saw the first trailer and thats enough for me, if I see the rest I've probably seen most of the film, the way they overkill the trailers these days.

Also avoided the trailers since the "Chewie we're home", prefer to let the feels all at once when watching the movie. But unfortunately the movies theater of my city was closed some years ago so I'm still deciding. The way is really to avoid the possible spoilers until there but some theories that popped out are kind of interesting.

One interesting theory/spoiler I heard about:

Is that Kylo Ren is blind, hence the constant references to the 'eyes', 'immune to the light' and the noise/force scream from his lightsaber. Would be an interesting development.

The best thing about the all the Star Wars trailers is that they only showed probably 15 minutes or even less of the whole movie. Still don't know what's going to happen in the movie.

Really? I reckon I've got a pretty clear ideal of the basic plot based on everything I've seen so far.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Even though one of the key characters hasn't been shown?

Two or three of the most prominent characters aren't shown in the trailers. Plus I personally believe that 80% percent of the trailers only showed the first act of the movie. Plot wise I don't think they showed enough.

JJ Abrams is notorious for secrecy, I'm pretty sure that he'll have only shown less than the tip of the iceberg in terms of what's to come in Episode 7. I'm sure there will still be plenty of surprises in there.

Managed to get myself a ticket for the Abu Dhabi premiere on the 16th (and had already bought one for the 17th earlier), will *try* not to spoil it for anyone.

Was told a pretty massive piece of information from someone at Disney yesterday, I cannot fucking wait to see this movie:bdick:

Looking forward to seeing this with my sister at the end of the week. She says she's booking tickets at least :err:

The last film we saw together in the cinema was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

I know there is a pretty big and strong fandom in this country for this film, but man, have you seen them lot over the pond?

Already people queuing up for tickets, staying in line all week just to get to see the film. Thats insane. There is literally nothing in the world that I would queue up overnight for, let alone a week. I'm not sure whether to say "fair play for your dedication" or "jesus, get a life" to these people.
