So I've been hearing through the grapevine that apparently Steve Bruce is going to resign from the club soon. Any truth to the statement Villa fans?
Put it this way, I'd be very surprised if he's still here next season. There is very little hope for him remaining, and he knows it. My worry is who do we bring in. His style of play is dog shit, and as for tactics, they are virtually non existent. Even if he had got us promoted, some fans wanted him gone, because he would not be the right manager to lead us forward. In the premier league we could attract a big name manager, I have no doubt about that, but we will struggle to attract anyone on the championship. I like Bruce, but I feel it's time to go, if we can get a suitable replacement. If not, then stick with him.

We will probably be without this lot next season
Johnstone
Terry
Chester
Snodgrass
Onamah
Grealish
Grabban
Adomah
Couldn't give a shit about Onamah, but the rest are crucial to us. If we lose most of them we will find it hard.

You have some decent kids, I think they would do a very good job. O'Hare and Andre Green have a lot of potential although I don't rate Keinan Davis, can't hit a barn door that one.

Hello my fellow Villans!
Seems we have a quite simply massive summer ahead of us! I still dont know if Brucie should stay or go. Depends, I guess, on the clubs plan for the next season or 2. Alot of players will (or have already) go. Some kids will come through and a few freebies/loans I guess will make up the squad.

Guessing the sale of Grealish will counter FFP and make up much of your budget for next season.

With a fit Johnathan Kodjia, you will have one of if the not the best forwards in this division and the 2 youngsters who played at our place, particularly Davis, look decent.
What will happen with Scott Hogan? If we could afford him I would have him at ours in a heartbeat.

Apparently on £40k per week! Not surprised we can’t afford to keep hold of players

If Bruce goes apparently Dean Smith is the owners choice for manager.

Bruce will get Villa out of this league, fair enough it didn't happen for them the other day but it's a gamble to change.

Is it me or has Kodjia done bugger all since he went to Villa? I know he's been injured but even when fit I don't notice him much.

That's it then. Villa are there with the likes of Leeds, Wednesday and Forest. Never getting back to the big time.

Nothing against Villa but its nice to see teams spend an absolute fortune and fail.

That's a positive providing he stays fit. We also have some good youngsters who can step up. Davis started the season well, but went completely off the boil. He's not a natural goal scorer at this level yet , but he gives us something different, and holds the ball up very well. I like hogan and hopefully he can play a part. He went on a great run around xmas time, but then became out of favour. If someone offers 20m for Grealish it will be hard to turn down, but we ain't the same team without him. If we lose Chester, and Terry, then we are fucked.

He was our top scorer. He came close to banging in 20 league goals, but got a bad injury, then got another injury just after.

Hope we bring Albert home this summer, still got plenty to offer as he's shown this season.

Don't you think some prem clubs might look at him? He's been superb this season for us.

Can't see it mate, his wages will be far too high for us to pay.
Like Villa Loyal, I can see a Prem team trying for him, maybe a Fulham or a West Ham (Snodgrass might give them some advice), getting Albert back to London.

32 now isn't he? I doubt it.
Any interest from a prem club, and he will want out. Can't blame him really at this stage of his career. I could see some bottom half teams looking at him.

Reckon Warnock would be all over Adomah if he was available.

I was going to say, I could see Cardiff going in for him. He wouldn't be too expensive, because of his age, and he'd be worth a gamble.
