If you still need a result will we get less tickets?
im not sure, it'll all come down to policing at the end of the day, and if they want to split an archaic stand on a potential highly charged game. The milton end holds 2,800 ish, and id expect you'd be selling all of those? I'd say we'd give you the whole end, as in previous high interest games we've given the whole milton end away, despite home ends selling out

Yeah we'd definitely sell out

Maybe. Though we have only lost away 2 times this season. Once against Luzon when we played with ten men after a red card early and a one nil at Oxford when we should have nicked a point. This suggests beating us is not that easy.

Oh hai.

Pretty sure we have to offer half the away end to fit in with league rules/guidelines and if they all sell we are unable to split it so then offer the rest. If less than half the away end is full (not sure of exact number) then the stand and facilities (or lack of) can be split

Looks like a massive fight for 7th at the moment. Pompey, Accy, Rovers look definites for the play offs.

That's a bit much. 6 points with 33 to go? There will be a lot of changes in between now and the end of the season, I am sure of that

You three just look superior to the rest of us play off contenders though. The rest of us keep stumbling over.

It's easy to be pessimistic with your own team but if we lose on Saturday, 6th and 7th is blown wide open again. Anything can happen yet mate

I think Accrington will drop out. Some tough games still to play and I think playing twice a week is catching up on them. My guess would be..

4 - Brovers
5 - Pompey
6 - Orient
7 - Wimbledon

It's hard to call. One thing I'm sure of is the Wimbledon won't come top 7.

Our run of form has ended so I sort of agree with you. Next few games we have easier fixtures. Just the sort we usually lose.

However I honestly dont think anyone is really better than us except the top 3. Not much between everyone else.

I am interested to know how you are so certain of our finishing place. If you could let me know I will place a bet.

3 wins from 12 in the league now, 2pts outside the playoffs with just a single game in hand on most others.
Our defence has improved slightly though our goals have dried up a bit, I don't think our squad is good enough in truth and we wasted the opportunity to strengthen in January.

We're away to Exeter this weekend, and I don't fancy our chances there either.

Because we had a good first half of the season, but now we have just been scrapping for results since Christmas. So we have dropped to where we are, not gained.

Shit happens.

Unlucky Wombles tonight, one of the better footballing sides I've seen, controlled the first 15-20 mins of each half, injuries cost you a bit and we hit on the break. Impressed with the initial front two, was pleased Elliot went off as he was causing problems.

I am not so sure they'll finish outside of the POs, many said the same about us when we had a tough run and now we're 'definites' apparently!! They'll come good again if they play like that each week. As Gassy said, it'll change.

As for us, great win tonight. Important game on Saturday though, Mansfield won't be easy. Would be brilliant to form a bit of a gap between us and those outside the top 7.

Yeah but no but yeah but our run of form recently has been absolutely dismal, yet we seem to be getting closer to the playoffs each week in terms of points

I think it's showing how shite this league is outside the top 6. No one can string some wins together to make that 7th spot their own.

We were awful tonight and comfortably beaten by a good Pompey side.
We're at home to Plymouth this Sat and Wycombe on Weds 16th so a massive week - ned to get back on track or else we could be dropping out of the top 7.

Plenty more football to go, we were outside the playoffs the other week and now find ourselves 6 points off the autos and still to play Plymouth at home. Gonna be an interesting couple of months.

It has to come to my attention we should no longer be promoted. A local sponsor has paid for those god awful 'clap banners' to 'spur the team on'.

What's the Wembley record for L2 play offs? Is it still Rovers Vs Shrewsbury?

I know this is getting ahead a little bit but I was just thinking, if we had Rovers Vs Pompey at Wembley, we could see a sold out Wembley for a L2 play off final?!

Yes but would that not make it boring if there was no fight for getting into the play offs?

The only time anyone inside Field Mill makes a noise now is when it's to turn around and moan because someone has turned the clapper into a plane and it's hit them.

Oooh worra day of action.

We were unlucky to draw with Cambridge, Plymouth, Oxford and Pompey lost which means Accrington and Bristol Rovers were today's big winners.
