personally I couldn't give a shit about the grudge that some of our fans seem to have against the Gas, but I think you will be hard pressed to find many WWFC fans that will be supporting a BRFC promotion bid...

That said there is no way Ainsworth will accept any half-arsed "on the beach" mentality from his players and I reckon if anyone seems to be playing that way, they will be subbed immediately. A few playing for contracts too...

 Chill Carver. Hating a club just because you can't stand one of their fans isn't a logical thing to do. It's only a footy forum on the internet ffs!

I don't hate Oxford, I just think it will be funny to see how that cocky little shit reacts if we beat them!

Glad both Carlisle and Wycombe fans seem to think they've nothing to play for

Hopefully will be at Carlisle next week, really important we get all the points there

Although we have nothing to play for, I think we'll give you a challenge. Surely you'll be bringing a few fans up, final away game and a key match?

Our next game is against Oxford, so if we can stop them going up it will be good to piss one of their fans off, I think you all know who I'm talking about.

I love the fact that me predicting a 3-0 win is going to stay with you for the rest of your life.:lol:

I hate to make the biggest day of your life seem irrelevant but I'll actually be on holiday during our game with Carlisle.

I feel sorry for you play off lot. No more looking at league tables or upcoming fixtures for me and my mid-table pals.

Haha ha. Who's laughing now losers?

So only Cambridge can crash the party now.

Two left to go. Winning both might not even be enough but seems like the only way automatics might happen, really could do with our good mates at Wycombe doing us a favour, always liked Wycombe and the bond that the two clubs share so they might use that as extra inspiration.

I'd hope for over 1500, but it could really be anywhere between 1-2k

Wycombe weren't particularly great against us as they couldn't resort to their usual tactics. We made it bloody hard for ourselves, though.

Even though we haven't mathematically qualified for the play-offs even we can't balls it up from here.

As for who we'd prefer to play. If we're basing it on league games then Brizzle and Accy are the teams I'd fancy my chances against. Both sides were poor against us in every match they played. We'll probably end up getting Plymouth, though.

Wycombe fans might have to decide what they prefer beating their local rivals and denying them promotion but maybe promoting the Gas as a result! Decisions, decisions. I think the fact that obviously getting one over on Oxford that the fans will never forget is what Ainsworth will use to gee up the troops!

Meh, we've just got to focus on our games and hope for the best. That's all we can do!

Seriously we aren't rivals.

Agree that there's no way in hell Ainsworth would let his team go less than full throttle, though if we don't "want it more" then there's something wrong with us.

I think Oxford will miss out on auto promotion, even though they seem to have two winnable games left.

I hope not. I certainly don't want the team we are cursed to never beat as our playoff opponents.

agreed mate we are not rivals as we are in different counties, just because the M40 connects us means fuck all to me. Alas our younger fans have no idea of what a rivalry means and have no idea of the bad feeling we have with Colchester and Slough from our days in The Conference. We have several players at the end of their contract so will need to impress to get it extended or end up in a lower league.

There's more reasons to dislike you than just your ridiculous pre-match predictions.

That's a shame you are on holiday though Tinpot because I was going to ask if you wanted to meet me up here along with my pals, I did had a nice dark alley in mind. ;)

Had to remind a Wycombe fan of his tweet from last November.
Karma can be such bitch.

Well we've bottled it... I had a feeling it would happen and actually before the game put a tenner on Accy, Oxford, Rovers and Portsmouth all to win and us to draw with Dagenham... the winnings would certainly have made it a little sweeter but we missed countless opportunities. We don't deserve to go up in the autos that's for sure. Now rooting for Accy and Oxford to go up to keep Rovers in the playoffs.

At least we won't have to play Ainsworth's Arseholes this year!

So I went to Croatia for the weekend and asked my dad to keep me updated with the scores. Here's how the conversation went;
