A fully fit BJS would be a tough fight, he's quite slick and has a good chin. No way he beats GGG but I think it could be an interesting one for a while.

Kell landed on him quite a lot before he started to wilt under the pressure. BJS' footwork is awesome but then GGG cuts down the ring with ease. Billy Joe is tough and game but he tires and would unravel late on imo. He'd win rounds though I reckon.

Under Booth's tutelage a properly conditioned and motivated BJS could take GGG into deep waters. He's probably the only guy at 160 that has the slightest chance of taking him to a decision due to his great chin and ring IQ. Expect Golovkin stops him late though.

I can't believe GGG got the decision, Jacobs boxed brilliantly and won the fight by 2 rounds for me. GGG has lost something after that I reckon, he knows he should have lost.

Roman Gonzalez lost too, those cards were surprisingly fair. FOTY contender that one. He doesn't look anywhere near as powerful at that weight.

I had GGG winning the fight, he threw more punches and landed more.

It wasn't the best performance but it was enough to get the win for me. Jacobs was excellent and going in with the extra weight really played into his hands but it just wasn't quite enough.

Maybe GGG isn't as invincible as we think?

BJS next probably, think that'd be a really interesting fight IF he gets himself into proper shape and up for it.

Peter Fury's appeal to get his visa denial overturned has been successful. Whilst Parker is good I really rate Hughie and now he'll have his dad/trainer by his side I back him to get the win.

Appears to be. Peter in an interview said he's now the heaviest he's ever been despite dropping bf % to as low as ever. He's looking like a throwback imo. Elusive switchitter landing shots from awkward angles whilst on the move. So long as he has the gameness you'd expect of a traveller he's gonna be a difficult boy to beat.

Has he got his spots sorted out do you know? You'd be rubbing your gloves on them all day in clinch

Hopefully he'll have a bit more power in him if he's in better health. A lack of power at heavyweight only gets you so far.

As feared, Linares is winning even more comfortably than last time.

Quality performance from Linares.

Really hope the Garcia v Linares fight gets made, would be right up there for me as one of the ones I want to get made.

Unbelievable technical boxer.. Im not sure how he'd do against somebody who jumps in on him quickly, gets rough and works inside and has a punch. Tend to think Crolla is tailor made for a a guy like Linares. Too nice, wants to box and keeps that middle distance

17k tickets sold so far today for brook v Spence at the lane plus the members sale yesterday, looks like it might actually be full which I didn't expect. I've bought some £66 tickets I'm not really the biggest boxing fan but because Its at the lane I thought I'd give it a go.

this was always gonna sell out. I'd have gone had it not been the same date as my wedding reception!

I didn't think it would anywhere near be full in all honesty I think by fighting at a clubs football ground in a city with 2 clubs you are basically ruling out 90% of Wednesday fans in this case who won't go an attend for the fact it's at bramall lane , look at bellew at goodison it looked empty on tv. The kop is not on sale but I guess if the rest sells out then it might get opened up.

Liam Williams schooled Liam Smith last night until that split eyelid finished it, Smith would get demolished by Kell Brook if they ever fought. Just watched the Lomachenko v Sosa fight too. Seeing as Chocolatito lost the other week I believe he should be regarded a top 3 P4P fighter, he's beaten a load of quality opposition already. Would be interesting to see if he can go up another weight to fight Garcia or Linares.

Lomachenko is just different gravy to anyone in world boxing. The angles he throws his punches and his footwork is just other worldly. To be that good after what? 8 professional fights is just insane.

Williams schooled the complete prick that is Liam Smith. Lomachenko is in the matrix, this was confirmed long ago.

Agree mate, went down to London for the Ggg fight, but not going to this, don't fancy sitting in stadium full of people chanting "we are Blades" and other shit so its pub or armchair for me. Still hope he wins though, will be another tough one, but this time I think he can do it.

Nah that's bollox. It's Sky Sports, people come from all over the country to be part of the 'hype'. It'll sell out if it hasn't already. Apparently George Groves co main event fighting Chudinov for a world title.

Think it will sell out, but agree with what Bladesman has said, only a small percentage will be Wednesday fans. I would have gone had it been anywhere else. AJ v Klitscho and a weekend on the piss in London for me instead.

Really really enjoyed that fight last night. You will struggle to find a better round anywhere for the rest of the year than the 5th Klitschko and Joshua shared.

Was very impressed with Joshua who showed he has steel. I was quite surprised he got up from that punch because it was an absolute beauty. Many including me though before the fight that Joshua has had to much his own way but he proved tonight he can go right to the top.

A massive shout out to Vladimir Klitschko though. After that Fury loss 18 months ago I thought he was finished. He showed last night why he has been at the top of the food chain for so long. On another night, he could have finished Joshua off in the sixth. I think he knew it after the fight as well but he showed no bitterness at all. He is an absolute Gent and has been a credit to the sport and himself. He fully deserved the reception he got from the crowd last night. I hope he takes the rematch as I believe there is life in the old dog yet.
