£1bn for just 10 votes. Can't see that going tits up at all.

A taxi full of rebel Tory MP's could hold Theresa to ransom. Never mind what the Scots and Welsh ministers might demand.

So here it is, what we were all warned about. A coalition of chaos, enjoy the ride chaps.

As May's position weakens the demands will increase too..

DUP have played a blinder in fairness.

Excellent move by Labour to force a vote on the public pay cap, what with the discovery of a magical money tree for the queen and to prop up the Conservatives.

Each Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) MP is now "worth more" than Cristiano Ronaldo, a Scottish National Party MP has told the House of Commons.

Alison Thewliss made the remark as she questioned the Tory government about the £1bn deal they signed with the DUP.

But her comparison of the 10 DUP MPs with the world's third most expensive footballer led to roars of laughter.

"We're now in the slightly odd position where each DUP MP is worth more than Ronaldo," Ms Thewliss said.

"I don't know what it says about Ronaldo's skills."

The COALITION OF MISERY voted against public sector pay fairness. If you're the DUP there is limitless money. If you're a nurse, firefighter, ambulance worker, cop etc you can fuck off 'cos there's no money. Absolute disgrace and there'll be a reckoning soon.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Labour knew that would happen, but it was just another tactic to keep turning public on the tories........in easier words they can now say the tories paid for and then cheers the fact they stopped firefighters getting better pay.........its a good line labour can use for a few years now.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
It was a cynical if clever move, a trap which the Tories happily bumbled into.

I don't know how anyone could think public sector workers don't deserve a pay rise, having effectively taken a pay cut for the last 7 or 8 years.

Not exactly opportunistic or, indeed, a trap.

Momentum's social media output since makes it look pretty opportunistic to me. It's all about the firefighters who the nasty Tories have denied a payrise to immediately after they've battled Grenfell. Using the pictures of the firefighters resting knackered after said fire as the backdrop.

It's a clever line that they can bash the Tories with for months to come. Knowing that the Tories agreeing to a Labour entry in the Queen's Speech would be equally if not more of a face loser (such is politics in this country strangely). so knowing that they'd never agree to it. A trap.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
The Tories cheering it, though, is their own callous, silly fault.

Yet more woes for the Tories.

The DfT due to the ongoing strikes on Southern railway has finally signed off a 23.5% salary increase, via Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) to make driver's accept full Driver Only Operation. Buying out the increased risks effectively

At the same time Virgin Trains West coast driver's have had their Pay deal taken off the table as the DfT wouldn't sign it off during the current franchise period.

Understably those at Virgin are up in arms and have called for strike action as the Tory Led DfT are not willing to play ball.

Alright for one but not the other. So if any of you lot travel by Virgin trains then blame the Tories

The generational argument being put forward is a load of bollocks too. Even if saying things like that was acceptable in her youth, she's had plenty of time to learn that it isn't any more.

TRUE STORY: I also did not know that was a phrase, until I was at a Thing a few years ago and a delightfully middle class WI type lady™ said it casually in the middle of some gardening advice. I was sat right behind a black woman who gasped really loud in response. I cringed so hard I thought I was going to turn inside out.

The thing is, we all know this is how these people talk to each other. Redwood and Cash were there and didn't give it a moments notice. The only mistake she's made in the eyes of senior Tories is getting caught.
The ham faced political journalist cadre are already out " justifying" her words. They're worse.

Aye but the Labour man was sick and he had a bad back. We all now a little bit of racism squeaks out of us when we're lying low. Cut him some slack. Usually I just take mine out on Diane Abbott and nobody notices. Doing a cutting satire about her being innumerate tends to work well, as I have successfully tried out 417,038 times, and I plan to send my ideas over to Matt in the Telegraph so he can nail it again.

Interesting perhaps controversial policy unveiled today. If I understand it correctly, the sales of new petrol and diesel cars will be banned in 2040.

Now how enforceable this will be, what government changes will occur in the next 20 odd years and what technological improvements and societal changes will occur in that time, are all unknown. Will humans still be doing the driving by then? But it's an interesting and bold target, fairly unprecedented around the world currently.

As of now I don't think the infrastructure is there for widespread electrical car ownership, not to mention the cost currently way exceeds petrol/diesel. Until those two factors change it'll never take off. Indeed we don't even know if the current generation of design of electric cars will go on to become the standard, or if a better design will come along that changes the required infrastructure.
