When we play England we just seem to raise our game, my husband tells me my accent returns to such an extent that my daughter doesn't understand me. I would like each test to go the full five days and be close (because I will have time to watch each ball).

Good series win for England in Bangladesh. Solid all round performance with Sam Curran doing a nice job with both bat and ball as well as Roy’s century.

Shout out to Bangladesh for this review for LBW as well. Think there was a hint of bat in it

England going along at a run a ball in a test match now just feels normal rather the extraordinary rate it actually is. Nice to see Duckett get his first home century. I know Crawley got a 50 yesterday but am still far from convinced with him, just feel Cummins etc will see that as easy work.

Yeah, never looked in control. Seemed the inside edge was almost a staple shot of his. For me I’d have dropped him and kept Foakes in there.

Duckett by comparison just looks so controlled yet still scoring at a fast rate.

Leach out of the Ashes then. Going to be a bit of a selection headache this so close to the series. Think they have to go for someone like Rehan and just see how it goes or maybe see if can tempt Adil Rashid into one more go with the red ball. The one thing they absolutely should not do is go without a spinner especially with Stokes knee not being in the best condition.

That would be my preference if he was willing to do it. For one series hopefully it would gain his interest. Always had the wood over the Aussies with the white ball. Does show how bare the cupoboard is for spin in England though.
