WHAT THE FUCK ARE ENGLAND THINKING?! They seemed to have a clear plan in mind in terms of their line-up. All throughout the warm up games they picked pretty consistent teams, and then today it appears they drew the batting order out of a hat. Amateurs.

Why did people expect differently? The Aussies are favourites at home, pent up infront of 80k, constantly got one over England in Australia. This was on the cards.

Oh absolutely, if we can bat 50 overs out that would be a decent achievement. But I expected 350 for the Aussies and us to get something similar to the tri-series in return, 180 all out with wickets for the Aussie quicks.

The only other batsman we have that can maintain a high RR over a period of time is in reserve for Ian Bell.

Fair play Taylor, I prefer him further down the order. I suppose he made up for his terrible performance on the field.

The fact that he had the biggest grin on his face despite having an absolute shocker up to that point and they'd already scored a huge 342 by then. Add to that all the other players ran over to him celebrating like we'd won the bloody game. Embarrassment. That's like all 11 players running over to celebrate with a player who's just scored a consolation to make it 5-1. Absolute shambles throughout

Vince is just so meh though, any other country and he wouldn't be anywhere near the national team set-up. He's certainly not the answer or any better than Root, Ballance, Taylor...In fact he's nowhere near as good as those.

I went to bed when Oz were on about 110 and England had started to pin them back. Gutted when I woke up and saw such a big score and England halfway through a shite innings. Well done James Taylor (again!) though. Morgan is as big an embarrassment as Cook in the batting department, I imagine his form is even worse actually over the last 18 months.

The fact Hales isn't playing on these Australian wickets is absolutely hilarious. They really haven't got a clue have they. I'd understand it if we were playing on some subcontinent flowerbed with no pace or bounce and each team has 2 spinners but he's ideal for these tracks.

It was awful watching Finn and co gurning like they'd just won the bloody thing when it really was the scruffiest and most pointless hat trick of all time . Your completely right , embarrassing beyond words .

Good win for India, they have a decent batting line up when they have any kind of confidence in this format. Not sure what has happened to Pakistan. Average bowling attack and a poor batting line up. Gone are the days when they are anything like a top team in world cricket. Sub continental pitches are the only thing that save them.
