Heartbreaking way to lose. d/L doesn't work in t20, as is proven. Certainly doesn't in this new ODI world with Jordan to come.

9 runs behind. Can't bekieve we're losing in D/L. Proud of the chase though. Chasing 400ish under lights, against one of the great ODI teams. Brilliant

An outstanding effort by England with the bat. It will be a massive shame if the rain prevents what looks like being a great finish to the game.

Covers are coming off but don't restart for another 20 minutes?!
A ridiculous chase now. 13 balls are now all that's left, chasing 34. Impossible. Means they get the full allocation of southee and boult. Southee should lose his over...

Covers have been off for 5 minutes. Why are we standing around for another 10 minutes?

Insanity why wait so long?, we could easily have played the 6 overs left. D/L need's to change.

Does anyone actually know why the Duckworth Lewis target is so ridiculously high? Completely wrong

It was created in 1997 (I think) when 250 was a great score and tail Enders disn't know how to hold a bat

Shame the rain might end what has been a great run chase.

Whilst yesterday's match ended in farcical manner, there's clearly an awful lot to be positive about so far this series.

I'll happily take the odd spanking if it means we give out a few annihilations as we did in the first match.

Interesting question - how much of this is down to Trevor Bayliss? Has he had any input at all yet? If this is a sign of things to come under the new regime then we're in for a cracking summer.

Missed the rain saga. But the D/L method has been a joke on numerous occasions. The thing with these 2 sides is that they will both just score and score as many runs as possible in both innings. We will win some, by fine margins, and probably lose some by fine margins. Another brillant chase from England last night. To even get anywhere close to 375+ for the second time in a couple of days is a great effort and we should be applauding the side not worrying about a few runs.

NZ are a credit too. Great entertainment.

Before last night I had never seen a player hit a ton in a T20 game in the flesh. At the Gloucestershire Glamorgan game I saw Jacques Rudolph and Michael Klinger, both hit unbeaten centuries.
