Don't really know what to expect from Sutton away to be honest. Realistically we don't need anything to secure a playoff place after Mansfield fluffed their lines at home last week, but it would be nice to win to ensure we're at home in the second leg which may or may not give us a better chance at bridging the gulf in quality when it comes to the playoffs. Depends how motivated the players are by that or whether they've got one eye on the bigger games to come.

We haven't beaten Sutton yet since their promotion to League Two and they absolutely tanked us at their place last season. I don't think we'll get tanked this time which should seal us a playoff place barring a Bristol Rovers style final day of season for Mansfield.

Impossible to predict this one as it probably doesn't matter.

Agree with this, but feel that the announcement of Dawes’ appointment which has gone down badly has the potential to make the atmosphere extremely toxic. While my initial feeling was the Cobblers would win, there is the potential for it to be a thumping one now.

Those two posts have made me feel slightly better

Don't really give a flying one who gets promoted! but my personal preferance would be northampton after last seasons final day shananigans, i still think something shady went on there! and from the playoffs Salford so they can fuck off and play in another league away from us.

Sutton were probably the worst team to visit Valley Parade on the day this season. Stroll in the park for you

Mellon’s been sacked, Dawes has had at best an average spell as caretaker, yet gets appointed permanent manager and there appear to be financial issues at the club and concerns for the future health of the club. Haven’t seen anything from you here about these serious issues for TRFC, yet your comeback post is to have a pop at me. Don’t think anything I’ve said above is out of kilter with the majority SWA view at present, but if you’d like to share your thoughts on the current situation, I’m all ears.
What team do you actually support. I know a Wrexham fan who has more positivity about Tranmere than you do and he doesn't like us.

Every single post by you has been doom and gloom no matter who is manager, no matter what the financial situation might be. You are make the Carlisle fans on here look over optimistic. You are no different on White Review. The other TRFC supporters on here are not always complaining.

Sad that Hartlepool have gone down, hope they proper throw the towel in though on Monday. Can't be arsed with them putting up a defence.

We could do with it all going our way Monday IMO. We've quite a lot of injuries, wouldn't be confident for the play-offs.

Need a Hartlepool roll over and an Ian Dawes masterclass/Northampton bottle. Really not sure it will happen at Prenton Park. If Northampton just focus they should do it, I would rather be in their shoes and just concentrate on their own game.

They had a very healthy lead and we've never really been in the top 3 all season like they have. It really should have been or will be a formality for Northampton Town.

But they did once say the same about Devon Loch.

All 3 results perfectly possible at Salford on Monday, really no idea what to expect. Salford need a result and we don't, so you'd imagine they'd go strong and come out firing, but on the flip side literally all the pressure is on them.

Backed by a travelling contingent somewhere between 700-800 depending on how many are too hungover come Monday lunchtime after a night out in Manchester, I think we'll finish the season in supreme style and draw 1-1.

Just to make the point again for people who might have missed it...Scunthorpe striker Ryan Loft was signed by Rovers with an promotion add-on included so Scunthorpe already down and in desperate need for money, benefited financially from Bristol Rovers going up. Add that Barton being banned for 18 months for betting (including matches that he was involved in) and it's not hard to feel that Northampton might wonder why Scunthorpe lost 7-0.

I feel that gets lost in people saying 'yeah but scunthorpe had played youth team players in previous games as well'

It stunk to high heaven from an outsider looking in.

At least there won't be any of that shit Monday. If we win and you draw, it will be goal difference but we'd have fairly won it over the season.

I'm really looking forward to the last game and I think there will be a carnival atmosphere. On the other hand, it is just like Harrogate to lose by 3 soft goals and spoil their own party.

Due to demand, A block of our main stand opens (additional 420 seats).

Hasn’t been open since we played Liverpool in 2019.

Scott Lindsey doing his best to rabble rouse before the big game on Monday. Personally I'm looking forward to shelving this season and seeing how the club are planning to move forward after sacking Jody Morris and technical director Sandro Di Michele and how we are going to repair our unbalanced squad which badly lacks experience.

Completely outside looking in and correct me if I'm wrong but I remember Lindsey was criticised by a few on here. Given your tumble down the league since he's gone was he actually doing a bad job? Managed to keep that circus at Crawley up as well.

exactly, and there won't be any complaining from me if we miss out.
What is interesting (and looking back v ironically) is that last year for the first time ever, I made a conscious decision to not look at other teams results, hoping they would lose and just concentrated on our results. This year I've reverted to the norm of the regular football fan. so... 'Come on Hartlepool'

You don't have to check our score though. I'd much rather be in your position.

I agree, Boz Is far too negative. He should shut the dawes on his way off the forum.
You have every right to be negative but are more positive. Still doing the fancy dress thing despite the relegation.

It all depends on which Tranmere version turns up on monday. The one that won against Leyton Orient or the one that can't beat relegated sides.

Interested to know, if the fixtures were reversed would you still be?

If you don’t like what I post, there’s an ignore button. In fact if it offends you so much, why stalk me onto another forum? Alternatively stop discussing me and start talking about Rovers.

We're all with you! Bonus points if you can beat them by 3 or 4.

If the fixtures were reversed it would probably be easier for you.

But I'd like it in our hands, Tranmere away can be tough but they've got nothing to play for. I'd take that over us having to beat Hartlepool and then rely on another team.

Paranoid aren't you. I read the White review forum not you.
A supporter SUPPORTS. You do not support. You criticise constanly. You are negative constantly. Cut out the snowflake attitude.
