Club keep finding seats to release, but I think this time it’s sold out. Shame Orient haven’t.

We’re bringing c.2k from London for a dead rubber. Don’t think you can ask for much more out of us.

Is it though, you’re Champions. Something your fans might not witness again for years.

Just presumed you’d sell out.

Remember Portsmouth selling out the entire away end as well as the top tier of the main stand as Champions on the last day in 2003, battered us 5-0. Can’t remember Swindon bringing many in 2012 the last time this happened which would be a better comparison, every Tom, Dick and Harry has celebrated promotion on the final day at our place.

Swindon fetched around 1,100 from memory.

Don’t forget MK Dons in 2008, too.

You mean you don’t think we’re going to piss League One next season?! How very dare you.

Nerves very much set in. 5:30 alarm for a 6:30 train tomorrow, Morretti’s cooling off in the fridge.

If it doesn’t happen for us tomorrow it’ll be gutting and there’ll be a massive sense of what could have been. To get us to this position Brady has worked wonders, the amount of players out for the last 2 months beggars belief, so if it doesn’t happen jt won’t be a bottle for my money.

Stockport fans, if it is you lot who go up you’ll have deserved it for your form over the last 30 games.

Football eh, fucking hell.

Paranoid aren't you. I read the White review forum not you.
A supporter SUPPORTS. You do not support. You criticise constanly. You are negative constantly. Cut out the snowflake attitude.
Found this definition of a football supporter online;
"a person who is actively interested in and wishes success for a particular football team."
Think that quite easily covers me.
Recently posted on here that it was good new Tom Davies had signed a new deal ~hardly a negative comment!
Sure, I'm pessimistic about things including Rovers' prospects. However football supporting is a broad church, not just some North Korea style happy clappy approach to the team.

I can’t see anything beyond a Northampton win at Tranmere. Harsh on Stockport to narrowly miss out because they’ve done fantastic, but I think they’ll win the playoffs anyway.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Stockport have not done fantastic. Neither have Bradford or Salford.

On the budgets they have all should be the top 3, that none of them are in the automatics heading into the last day is a poor showing from all 3.

They are lucky L2 gives them quite a few chances. One of them probably will end up promoted in the end. It will be an extremely high pressure play offs with some sides who frankly cannot afford to fail and others who may not get another chance next year.

Was meaning over the last few months. Their form has been fantastic since the turn of the year.

I said at the start of the season i thought they’d be at a disadvantage having a rookie manager at this level, and they did have a slow start in fairness. But once he got to grips with the step up, they’ve been excellent and have been the form team in the league.

Apologies mate but you can't file matches under dead rubber if you've been promoted, that's a luxury reserved only for us middling clubs to laud/justify our decent/crap end of season followings. 2000 is a great for you lot up north though regardless, I wonder how many of that have genuinely never been that far north?

Those two posts have made me feel slightly better
The announcement of Adkins last night has given everyone at the club a boost. More chance of us getting a result now I would say.

If we don't win this morning, we will probably still go up in a few more years time, and if we do go up we'll probably be coming back down in a few more years. Sisyphus stone. Fun to watch, but any nerves for me are completely gone.

I honestly think last year's heartbreak and a few things this year that puts football into the perspective have taken a little bit of the air out, as I really don't feel any anxiety what so ever. If we deserve to be in the top 3 on points we will, if we don't then we don't deserve the place. The teams almost universally under contract for the players we want unlike last year, and if end up on 80 points and stay down for the second year in the row, I wouldn't bet against us getting a similar total next year.

If Carlisle don't win the play-offs, will Big Dave go back to supporting Curzon Ashton?

Talks with a lot of authority on things he knows fuck all about.

Would be some achievement for us to go up today, if not I'm delighted with play-offs. We still have a lot of players who got us up from the NL and in Ben Hinchliffe, we still have our goalkeeper who got promoted with us in the NLN.

Good luck to us today. And good luck to Tranmere. If Northampton get the job done, I congratulate their fans on here in advance.

The weather is awful on the Wirral. If you go up i doubt you will notice.

A fair few, I’d wager. Genuinely can’t remember the last League 2 game where we fetched over 1,000 for a match north of the Watford Gap, so to have the chickens harping on about us only taking 2k is amusing to me. Biggest in recent memory was 950ish at Blackpool after we’d been relegated to non league.

The expectancy to lose has killed any nerves, I’d try play for the draw, park the bus and pray.

Uh oh

No hands Killip starts in goal for first time in months, no Sterry, no Kemp, Umerah bench warming and 3 youth teamers also on the bench.

Godspeed Northampton.

Just seen our line up . I'm hoping to keep the score down.

I'm not sure if Johnson is playing rb or cb. If rb who is playing cb and vice versa. Just so you know. Our only centre back on the field is our sixth choice!

Spong looks to be a decent player but is not yet league 2 standard. To pair him with Powells would be a risk in the EFL Trophy.

Both Gladwin and Conroy missing. Gladwin has been playing with an injury so that's understandable but I've heard nothing about Conroy.

Rovers give youngster Sam Taylor who’s just signed a new contract a first league start in the absence of the injured Saunders. O’Connor back in midfield to tighten things up.
