Sheesh. Gee whiz. Absolutely bricking it to be honest, just expecting it to all go horribly wrong. Can’t see Stockport not winning and I have doubts whether we will.

1-1 draw, which is not enough for promotion. We will then lose in the playoffs. We’ve been so battered by injuries that if you’d offered me this position 6 weeks ago I’d have ripped your arm off, but now it’s here and we approach the weekend it’s torture.

God speed Stockport fans, let the cards fall where they do.

We have abit more hope than we did after Saturday. Still alot to do, all we can do is go and get a couple of goals at Colchester and do our part and then hope either Bradford who are more likely to slip up as we'd only need them to lose if we win by 2 or Salford somehow lose by 2 at home to Gillingham.

More excited about the game now we've got a chance than nervous after pretty much writing our chances off before Bradford lost last night. Either way the pressure is all on them and Salford. Prob both lose and we'll do a Mansfield and get pumped 5-0 by Colchester

You better be on the ball Northampton cos we're gonna get lashed, easy beating Barra with their feet up but going to Stockport aiming for the autos, nah we're jiggered.

I wouldn`t be too worried if I was you. We have been on the beach for weeks. Ok we are playing more on the deck right now instead of "Mellonball" but we have 11 players out injuried (and have had for weeks) and are down to the bare bones, having only 4 or 5 players on the bench the last few games, and with Harvey Saunders possibly missing as he went off injured last week we might start with 18 year Sam Taylor up front making his full debut after coming on for Saunders and scoring at Wimbledon. I`d be amazed if we get even a draw.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Expect Carlisle to win at Sutton and get into play offs.

You can argue their strength against the other sides at top and lack of results but these sortve games Carlisle have been getting results from all season.

Need to win to have home advantage 2nd leg may be important since only real gameplan vs top sides is going to have to be playing for tight draws

Feeling surprisingly relaxed about Monday. 'Sangfroid' my thesaurus calls it.

Either we catch No'ton, or stick with guaranteed 4th place, which is still a lot better than I'd expected for most of the season. Plus I'm confident of beating any of the other playoff candidates over the course of two games, it's all about who would offer the best day out. Already done Carlisle recently, Salford is a shitty location & allocation, so really hope it's Bratfud. Outside chance of Mansfield, of course, wouldn't mind a nice ride on the choo-choos to Nottingham since we were robbed of that earlier in the season.

You never know, See what Tranmeres new gaffa can put out.
Don,t think Barra were at the beach me self.

Tried to take Fergies kneecap off, sentoff.
Cookie picked up and thrown to the ground(no joke) sent off.
Then the bar room brawl kicked in.

Askey said hes only picking players who want to play for the club.
Says hes in disbelief by the selfishness shown by some players.
Read into that what you will.

PS: ByeBye all, see you soon i hope.

Shit or bust, then.

We’ve done it the hard way all bastard season, so I suppose Hughes is somewhat right when he suggested that it would always come down to this fixture.

We’re either destined to make the play-offs and go all the way or we won’t make them at all. What worries me is the players’ mentality. It’s been lacking all season - evident again last night. What they gonna do when there’s 22,000 home fans baying for blood on Monday? I just don’t think they’re ready for what will happen if we don’t, at the very least, make the play-offs. It’ll be toxic.

It doesn’t come much harder than Orient, does it? Yeah, fair enough, they’re justified Champions and they may see this as just another game; who knows, they minds might be elsewhere, but they won’t roll over like they did last week against County.

Crying out for legs in midfield. Adam Clayton has to start. Again, it’s harsh on Banks but like I said in the Crewe pre-match comms, a 4312 without Nevers, Costelloe and Eisa on the left is surely better than 4231 just to accommodate Banks. In fact, slot him next to Cook - I don’t care. Stubbs were at fault last night for their first, but I’m not liking the Critch-Stubbs partnership. Much prefer Platt, whose done fuck all wrong all season.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matt Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Alex Gilliead
CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Adam Clayton

RW: Scott Banks
CF: Andy Cook
AM: Jamie Walker

Orient are the first team to sell out this season. Not sure on exact figures, but guessing it’s somewhere in the region of 2,500-2,750.

Expect total attendance to be around 23,000 plus - which is ridiculous for this level - and more than what these soft c*** deserve.

I think we’ll do it. A very nervy 2-2.

Pretty fucking please.

Seeing as we've nearly sold the 2,400 tickets allocation I would like to think Wellens and the players will put in the correct preperation one last time for this one. After admitting last week that after we played Mansfield on the Tuesday our preperation for the Stockport game was basically a quick kick about with the players basically being on it since it seems.

As long as we put in some sort of a decent effort I'm not bothered about what the score is. Not sure what sort of side Wellens will put out either.

We played better second half last week, but we was already 2-0.

Unsure what will happen, but if Bradford apply themselves properly they won't lose at the very least.

Nearly 2,400 away tickets sold, thats our biggest away following for a league game since we took 4,500 to Oxford on the last day of the season in 2006.

Not sure why you haven’t been allocated the remaining 350 seats? Perhaps further segregation nearer the players tunnel.

Great following.

Around 1400 Carlisle making the trip to Sutton. Only a disastrous combination of results can knock us out of the playoffs at this stage, but as alluded to by BigDaveCUFC we could really do with winning to guarantee home advantage in the second leg of a playoff semi. Best of luck to everybody needing a result, with the exception of Salford - who I hope take an absolute pasting from the Gills.

After last night as it stands I’ve lost all interest, I’m sure it’ll come back for Monday but as it stands I couldn’t care what happens. I’d rather end 8th than lose at Wembley which tbh is what I expect.

So frustrating we should have been up already but have thrown away games like I’ve never seen from a Bradford City team before.

I have about as much enthusiasm for this game as a day out in Sunderland city centre.

Agree with this, but feel that the announcement of Dawes’ appointment which has gone down badly has the potential to make the atmosphere extremely toxic. While my initial feeling was the Cobblers would win, there is the potential for it to be a thumping one now.

Mellon’s been sacked, Dawes has had at best an average spell as caretaker, yet gets appointed permanent manager and there appear to be financial issues at the club and concerns for the future health of the club. Haven’t seen anything from you here about these serious issues for TRFC, yet your comeback post is to have a pop at me. Don’t think anything I’ve said above is out of kilter with the majority SWA view at present, but if you’d like to share your thoughts on the current situation, I’m all ears.

Obviously it won’t be easy, and our away form is shit, but I have a sneaky feeling we may give Salford a tough time this weekend.
I am certain that Lapslie and Hawkins (though he probably won’t start) will be very keen to give Mansfield a chance if possible.
Just so glad we are not staring the barrel this time, as looked so likely a few months ago.
Good luck to all, apart from Salford obviously.

Scott Lindsey doing his best to rabble rouse before the big game on Monday. Personally I'm looking forward to shelving this season and seeing how the club are planning to move forward after sacking Jody Morris and technical director Sandro Di Michele and how we are going to repair our unbalanced squad which badly lacks experience.

I'm banking on us needing a win to go up, I'm fairly confident Stockport are getting the three points. At least this time we can't win 3-1 and still lose out.
