Do you get the impression Hoddle wants Vardy down the middle? It says something when I agree with him. Hodgson need to sack this idea of playing Vardy out wide off, such a waste. Get him alongside Kane FFS!

Vardy looks wasted on the left, especially with Kane's tendency to drift to that side of the pitch. Would much prefer to see Sterling behind both of them, Vardy and Kane can work the channels when needed.

Some promising moments, but just as many worrying ones. Alli has looked ropey, Sterling has barely been in the game and Vardy is wasted out wide. Least we settled down defensively. Make some tactical changes at HT me thinks. Need to have a look at as many options as possible, not choose one formation now and hammer away trying to make it work for the next few weeks and hope it goes ok in the Euros.
