Also what are the odds of Alli getting sent off at the Euros? The bloke is a ticking time bomb, no chill Dele, no chill.

Chilli Delli?
He does seem to like to get involved in needless shit. His suspension was completely pointless. It's one thing to get sent off for a rash challenge or a second yellow in a situation where you've got little choice but to make a foul but getting in shit for lashing out or sticking the boot in is, well, the stuff that made Beckham the man we know now! :D

Just seen Scotland have Italy and France in the next two friendlies. Not worried about Italy, but France will be looking to impress ahead of their own tournament and it could be messy.

Surely how Scotland do is irrelevant as you aren't going to the Euro's anyway as you failed in qualification?

Didn't watch the England game just watching the highlights now and I hate Vardy as a winger, he's unstoppable upfront.

Only England could possess a record breaking goalscorer who's in the form of his life, and play him on the wing.

Shockingly, in the brief moments his played centrally for England, he's scored a couple of goals and won a penalty.

No Vardy at all for the Australia game on Friday due to the fact he is getting married.

Done enough to earn a place surely anyway...

FFS Hodgson play Vardy up front and not on the wing you stubborn old git!! We don't want another Scholes situation like we did with Sven!

That formation in the first half was crap but the diamond in the second was good so we should expect that formation at the Euro's.

Stones and Cahill seem to be alright together in the defence.

Roy harping on about if a player is good enough it shouldn't matter if he's played in a different position to normal.

Can't wait to see Rooney in goal.

Yeah I must say I was really disappointed when I heard him say that, if he plays Vardy as a left winger then I can see Vardy and England having a lousy tournament because of that imbecile thinks he knows it all Hodgson.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

He's already halfway there isn't he? Best midfielder in the country.

Hard to judge much from that yesterday, we were workmanlike but most friendlies are like that especially building up to a tournament. Turkey are a decent side to be fair so quite pleased to get the win, Vardy must start up front what a waste to England he is playing out wide, would love Kane and Vardy partnering each other in France with Rooney playing in behind. Hopefully Roy will have learnt one or two things from that, Wilshere getting 65 minutes suggests he may be able to prove his fitness.

As everyone's already mentioned, Vardy was completely wasted on the wing. If Hodgson's intending to play just one up front at the Euros, I'd rather see Vardy on from the bench. Sterling was poor on the right, but did look decent when he tried to take the full back on, though he didn't produce many accurate crosses. I thought Dier was solid all game

First time I've been to the Etihad, quite impressive stadium in truth.

Supporting Scotland is different in that we support the team through thick and thin and not when it suits us because a tournament is coming up.

Surely a tournament coming up would have no bearing on your support for Scotland anyway seeing as they, you know...

Tbh we may do better in the friendlies than I have previously thought, as Hutton has been ruled out! :2thumb:

Be interesting to see which one plays the Eric Dier role out of Hendo, Wilshere and Drinky, think the first two are better going forward so im hoping its Drinky playin the holding mid. Surprised to see Sterling start again, was expecting Townsend to get a run. Looking forward to seeing how Rashford plays, he might knock somebody out their Euro spot if he performs its a huge moment for him to impress. Im also hoping young Ross Barkley gets a run at some point im a huge fan of his when hes on form. Overall im hoping for a goal fest with some decent football played would be nice.

Yeah, I would have said Drinkwater too - we really don't have another proper holding mid besides Dier.
