It's A Wonderful Life [1946]
Seen it loads of times before, but the first time I saw it in colour which, although I'm not generally a fan of in old films that were shot in monochrome, did actually add to it. Cheesy, sentimental, dark and fun, and it stars the peerless James Stewart, how could you not like this!

Kung Fu Panda 2 [2011]
After watching the above film, I had a few drams and was in the mood of an animation, so chose this. Not quite as much fun as the original, though it did have one absolute laugh out loud moment which is all thats needed particularly when half-micked.
