Still yet to see it despite having it bookmarked for over a year! Not fond of Di Craprio but the shooting of it sounded intense, and Hardy is always worth a watch even when he mumbles.

I was so disappointed in the Revenant. Remember being sat in the cinema completely bored at times.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
What is everyone’s favourite film of all time ??

I can never answer that because there's loads of films I can watch over and over again and could never pick an absolute favourite.

The Mummy (2017)
A pretty drab action movie which tries to be more than it is, and just goes on and on. I've basically already forgotten it.

Thor Ragnarok
Really good fun, but I suspect that if you'd not followed the rest of the MCU pretty closely, you wouldn't have a fucking clue what was going on most of the time.

Been on a bit of a film binge recently after rediscovering Showbox

The Greatest Showman - actually not too shabby for a musical, not one of those that forces a song in for songs sake, and well produced 7/10

The Mummy - a weird film that tries to maintain the humour from the Brendan Fraser films while being a lot darker in a flick of a switch. easy enough to watch though, if not very all over the place - 6/10

Thor Ragnorok - taken over as my favourite funny Marvel Film, which was previously the Guardians of the Galaxy films. story also good, and Cate Blanchett is hot as a brunette! 9/10

Now You See Me - never seen it (pardon the pun) before now, and a very enjoyable magic caper 7.5/10

Now You See Me 2 - not as good as the first, tries to explain too much of what is happening. still a good enough film to watch for watching sake - 6/10

Murcury Rising
Completely rubbish but it's enjoyable rubbish. Seen it a million times and I'll probably watch it a million more. 5/10 but also 100/10.

Di Caprio has got better in the last 7/8 years

I liked Shutter Island and Wolf of Wall Street, Django he was good in as well.

Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri. Seen this at the pictures yesterday. Excellent film with great acting although the ending didn't do it justice imo. The performance in particular by Sam Stockwell as an alcoholic, violent cop is brilliant. 7.5/10.

Had the song to High Noon running around your head since watching it I bet? :D

Was watching Gary Cooper the other night in The Pride Of The Yankees (1942). Based on the life of Lou Gehrig who developed (what they call over there Lou Gehrig's disease) motor neurone disease and was struck down with it at the height of his fame.

A bit mushy and sentimental which is to be expected, but it was decent enough.

6/10

A very good thriller with some crazy fucked up violent scenes some of which made me wince they were that brutal. 8/10.
Annihilation (2018)
Decent sci-fi film with a very weird ending. 7/10.

Lock stock and four stolen hooves.
A low budget film based on the smokin barrels movie, it's so bad that I found it to be most enjoyable to watch

I thought McDormand was magnificent and Rockwell was even better, and we're incredible given their powerhouse performances here.
A moving and tragic story with a bit of comical aspect to the film, that has a well written dialogue.
Only slight negative is the ending leaves too many questions. 8/10.
