They’res a train from alfreton (about 3 miles from Mansfield) direct to Liverpool so it’s hardly a challenge. It’s that infrastructure we have

there is a brilliant thing called the ‘motorway’ nearby too! It’s great for travelling via car.

Just to clarify, Cleethorpes is more akin to the Ashfield district - Sutton, Kirkby a clear step below Mansfield.

I think it stemmed from whatever tranmere on here thought they deserved a point from that 3-0 stroll we had back in January or whenever then threw their dolly out the pram when it became pretty evident they were speaking bollocks.

It’s rather odd tbh, they seem a largely decent club with fans but just haven’t featured on our radar this season.

Nobody claimed we deserved a point from that game, FWIW.

1. How come Swindon played some nice stuff at Newport while others seemingly cannot?
2. The reason for FGR's inability to win home games.
3. Learn more about that Imps fan idea for a Mt.Rushmore-like monument (but on a much more smaller scale obviously) to be erected in the city. A genius idea if you ask me, esp. when the Cowley's decide it's time for them to move on and join some other club like, say, Hull City.
4. Devon Lad's whereabouts.

To be fair if Tranmere want to become the next Mansfield haters that’s fine, seeing as our little non-league minnows in Derbyshire have fucked off alongside the possibility of Notts County too.

Obviously we still have Lincoln that are the current pick of the bunch but we definitely have room. Just be aware that YEAR OF THE STAG is still on currently so it’s not a great time to become a enemy.

Re-read the Mansfield v Tranmere thread, which is ten minutes of my life I won’t get back. RLC is spot on, no claims were made by Rovers fans about deserving a point.

What pissed me off and I suspect other Rovers fans too, were the assertions that Rovers were the dirtiest side you’d seen. None of the seven(?) Stags players currently out injured are missing as a result of anything done in that game and nobody went off injured during the match. It might be true if your other opponents had treated you with kid gloves, but I found it surprising then and still do.

However of the L2 sides I’ve seen this season Mansfield are the best to date, with only Swindon getting close. Not seen Lincoln and Franchise, Forest Green and Bury still to come.

Agreed, it was I believe an argument between yourself and Tranmere white In this thread where s/he insisted that tranmere were full worth of a point - etc etc etc.

As I said earlier in this thread, I’ve got nothing about tranmere, they’ve not been on the same radar this season - maybe it’s something out of nothing.
