Don't get that. I have just said we could finish as low as 7th lol.

Youre fans point of view mainly last week was you were dropping out the playoffs and were in turmoil that was all.

I still think we may. We won 6-0 Saturday because Bury were horrific.

Nobody played last night whos going to finish anywhere near you or gillingham for that matter. Its a 4 horse race for the top 2 although walsall fans have gone all depressed so maybe just a 3 horse race. Hopefully burton and gills claim them. Burton for the fact that there just such a small but well run club and it would be a great achievement and gillingham just so i dont have to go again next year. :2thumb:

Ha ha ha! It really is something when your town/away end is so spectacularly shit other teams wish promotion on you just to avoid having to make the trip!

Your away end is no worse than swindons it's just that you are virtually in France to most of us up here

Away fans at Swindon are housed at the end of the arkells stand. I suspect you are thinking of the Stratton Bank which is only used when a team brings more than 1,000 fans. No offence but I suspect Burton will never need the SB. I'd argue that despite also having no roof, the away end at Gillingham looks way worse.

Can't really argue with that, but when the council own the ground but the club are responsible for infrastructure they are likely to remain shite.

There's talk of putting a roof on the Bank but that's just like putting a ribbon on a turd.

We had a good day out tbf apart from the game and we didnt booze in gillingham either before it was a place nearby but iv forgot the name of it we had a couple of hours after the game in that boozer near station but it was 1st match and boiling hot at any other time wed take about 700, its a fair trek and a wank away end.

Swindons end is at least a proper structure its a real shithole dont get me wrong but gillinghams is just a scaffold it cant really be classed as a stand.

If Swindon whacked a roof on that stand it would be a quality away end.

They were on about doing it last season, not sure what happened to that idea.

The Trust are in the process of raising £500,000 or so to put a roof on but there has been a longstanding issue with the houses behind regards planning consent

Only £490,000 to go!

And they are trying to put toilet blocks in as well as whenever it's used we have to pay extra to get portaloos (cue the Bristol City fans whining about that from last season!!) from an external company.

I'm sure when this originally raised its head it was mooted this would happen during this coming summer but the all has gone quiet now.

The Trust were hoping to secure funding from local business sponsorship and, in truth, £500,000 isn't much, but when we look more likely to be in L2 than the Championship over the coming few years it's no great surprise it's gone on the backburner. Don't think Power being in charge helps, either.

Please no longer continue to mention us in this thread. We have been evicted from the Promotion house.

We could be joining you - been not very good this side of Christmas really, and now one of our only two centre backs is injured - and it's the better one! Need re-inforcements pretty quickly.

Just noticed Millwall are only 5 behind us now - they'll be above us before too long which is annoying as they're not great.

We can still be in this only IF we manage to bring in some quality reinforcements as well as reintroduce Rico Henry to LB, otherwise we're firmly play offs or worse. We win our game in hand, however unlikely that may be, and we are 2nd again. Form at home needs to turn very quickly though.

You should be honoured to live in the Garden of England. Unless of course you're actually living in Medway, in which case yeah, poor you.

Yes, I am. Just off Gillingham high street in fact. Shame as the Uni is very well rated for my course, but sacrifices have to be made and it certainly makes me appreciate home more!

I've been saying for ages millwall will be in the shake up for top two and it's looking like they maybe ready to crash the party.
Gills and saddlers fans - get a grip. You are bang in the mix and both win next week and it's all different. Come on guys pull yourself together...

You poor sod. If I was in your position I'd live somewhere else and commute in! Can't imagine you'd find many places much cheaper to live in Kent than Medway though

Nah and my flat is actually really nice (and cheap). Only silver lining is Rochester has some great pubs and is 2 minutes on the train so we go there a lot instead of hanging around Gillingham.
