Talking bollocks. If u win one you get your momentum and you have two games in hand too. You are still bang in the mix for second. We are watching your results very closely as our form has nose dived. Get your shit together and you can still press us for second place

That's just the point though, everytime you give us a sniff we turn in performances like we have in the last two. I can guarantee you, any neutral watching us yesterday would have thought we were relegation cannon fodder..the same the week before against Colchester. We'd need a 150 game season to take advantage of one of your slip ups mate.

But if you had seen our last three games you would say the same about us...
I still think your two games in hand is your ace up your sleeve. If you could win one of them ugly 1-0 then you may recapture your form.
I still think there are some twists and turns yet.

One of Walsalls games in hand is against us though, and we're still going ok. I'd be surprised if Burton blow it from here. Walsall will still be absolutely fine for the play-offs though, despite the negativity

I'm confident we will get enough points to get over the line. That late 92nd minute goal yesterday will have done the players the power of good.
Young Tyler Walker looks like he knows here the onion bag is, just what we need.

Biggest blessing is chaudrey is suspended next week.

Thank god, don't know why but every time he goes near the ball he seems to be a booking waiting to happen.
I'm beginning to wonder if his loan extension agreement has a clause saying he has to play (it has been known with many loan deals).
If that being the case I wish he would have done a proper job and got a straight red.
Will know answer in a fortnight cause you can bet you're bollocks he'll be straight back in the team.
If that isn't the case then could it be that Cloughy's got the hump with Weir because he still hasn't signed his contract yet?

I actually think Choudury is going to be an excellent player, he is only 18 and a bit over eager at present, steep learning curve for him.
Hopefully Weir has a blinder next week and we put out our best midfield with Naylor and Butcher. Would like to see young Walker start in place of Bennett and Camsdell Sherriff's experienced re-instated at the back.
I think the 8 point gap will be too much for the Saddlers to make up as they will drop points in the run in too. We are not performing at our best at present admittedly but we will have enough to get over the line.

Well that's us out of the play off race. I really don't know how Bradford (especially) and Millwall keep doing it but the only thing that matters is that they are.

Suppose I can't complain too much after we were bottom in December.

10th Sheff Utd(41) - 59 points. Chesterfield(A), Shrewsbury(A), Barnsley(H), Coventry(A), Scunthorpe(H)

Shame to see so many races being all but decided already. Wigan look destined for the title, 4 points clear of Burton and powering away. 10 points clear of Bradford with 15 to play for as well, Burton away looks to be their promotion party whilst Blackpool away might well be their title party. Burton continue to stutter, still have gap between them and the chasing pack, but have 2 tough home games next up. Bradford and Millwall keep getting the wins, move up to 3rd and 4th and now have Burton in their sights. They'll be hoping Gillingham and Walsall can't overtake them with their games in hand though. Gills and Walsall continue to struggle, but like I said, games in hand might help them get back into good play off spots.

Barnsley could catch up with Walsall and Gillingham, but time is fast running out. Last chance saloon for them on Tuesday at home to Oldham? Rochdale and Scunthorpe having a strong finish, probably won't make the top 6 but ending on a high which is good. Sheff U drop more points and won't make the play offs. Still, back to back away games against relegation candidates. 6 points and you never know?

I reckon Wigan and Millwall for autos.

Burton, Bradford, Gillingham and A N Other for the playoffs.

A N Other probably being Walsall, although Barnsley and ourselves aren't quite out of it yet...

No chance, we're too far back.

We're not out of the top 2 race just yet, with walsall at home Tuesday (if we win we go back third 5 points behind burton) ,and still to play burton and millwall, ,also some easier on paper fixtures we have a chance, but think we'll have to settle for the play offs

The idea that either us or Bradford could nick that 2nd spot is hilarious.

Burton will do just about enough.

Please can this wretched season please bloody end.
Fifty long years following this club and the biggest bottle job in all that time, frankly I'm getting a little tired of following the shower of shit.
When we were top we bought in Cole and Rammage and its gone tits up ever since.
Mowbray should have stuck with the kids who got us there, instead he seemed obsessed with fitting in Cole for the majority of each game.
I need a whisky and a good psychiatrist

Hey guys, what happened to Coventry!?

Bit of a dramatic downturn in results.

Decent enough day for us despite dropping out the top 4 for the first time this season. Win the game in hand on Tuesday and we go 3rd, 5 points off Burton and we still have to play them. Add into that the fact that our best defender, midfielder and finisher ard all back in the squad and we're looking good. 1 goal conceded in 6 games is exceptional as well. Dont rule us out

Our failure to invest in January is hitting home hard now. We have looked nothing like a team going for promotion since the 4-0 win at Vale. We really need something from our next 2 games and that will be difficult at home against Barnsley and Wigan.
Relying on young inexperienced players far too much at this stage of the season. We have 2 very good players out on loan in Darius Charles and Matty Palmer which in my opinion should be bought back into the squad to give us more options and the ability to be able to vary how we play.
